  1. I finally checked back here after a few days, and all I can say is that anything not dealing with Lena Dunham being a fat, curvy celebrity is irrelevant and should be moved to the abyss. Period. (Yes, including this comment and that first long post by cuauhtemoc). If you want to yell about how Lena is a horrible person, or how wrong the people who like her are, do it on some website dealing with that or in the chit chat forum.
  2. Her thighs in the first picture look scrumptious. Now if we could delete the 2 pages of irrelevant caterwauling in this thread, we'd really be somewhere.
  3. Man, those hips and arms are insanely cute. I wish every famous actress ate. Also, very funny about that internet stuff. I don't know what the deal is with the internet and her. My reply sounded a little one-dimensional too, but oh well.
  4. I've never seen the show, but she seems quite amiable in this video (and cute): http://www.cbs.com/shows/late_late_show/video/10380F42-1118-BEB8-2D76-414F31B118DB/craig-ferguson-don-t-do-it- Ironically, they talk about ignoring people writing nonsense on the internet. In all fairness, if you're going to go after someone for having an ugly face or no talent, you might as well start with Kim Kardashian or something. And I'm not trying to pick on Kim . . . the point is that despite those obvious problems, she still has a great ass. And some guys prefer an empty head with an ugly face. So whining about it would be rather vexing. Lena has short hair and a small chest, but that doesn't stop her from being pleasantly chubby and articulate. I think I'll go on casually enjoying those qualities.
  5. Whatever else one wants to say, I think she's really quite attractive. I haven't seen anything she's in, and not having HBO I'm unlikely to anytime soon, but based on a couple of youtube interviews she seems like a fairly intelligent and straightforward person. I'm also glad to see another chubby celebrity out there (and she's definitely chubby, not full-fledged fat), especially one that's gained a bit of a hip reputation. Perhaps it's one more step towards a more varied representation of women's bodies by society.

It was amazing. I could feel the envy of every woman in the Sunset Tower.”

  8. [Pretty obvious] good news: she won't be dieting while pregnant. [Much more significant] bad news: she's already signed with Weight Watchers for a post-pregnancy weight loss campaign. The [also obvious] bright side: last time she gained a ton of weight anyway. http://www.tmz.com/2012/12/26/jessica-simpson-weight-watchers-pregnancy-announcement-pregnant/
  9. For the record, she finally confirmed that she's pregnant. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/12/25/jessica-simpson-pregnant-baby-maxwell-photo_n_2362558.html?utm_hp_ref=celebrity
  10. As you can tell from the surfeit of replies, you really look stunning. If you're going to intentionally gain weight, you should enjoy it -- go at whatever pace is comfortable for you at any given time, and don't feel obligated to yourself (or anyone else). What's really great about it is that you'll be expressing what you consider beautiful instead of conforming to the simplistic system society often offers. It's always so thrilling to hear about a woman who shares my penchants; it took me years to even consider that other men might share my taste, let alone women.
  11. She looks amazing. Some of it might be the pose or the dress, since she looks bigger in the looser dress. I'd prefer to think she didn't get implants, but if she did, butt implants are a whole lot better than breast implants.
  12. That's exactly what I was thinking! That's not how it really works, of course, but in the end who cares?
  13. The lens of wishful thinking implies that she enjoyed eating and being fat, only got thin because she felt she had an obligation to Weight Watchers, and she views this pregnancy as an opportunity to be free of that constraint on her eating. If that's the case, I hope she enjoys herself quite a bit.
  14. She is quite pretty pregnant
  15. Dancing in her underwear in a video for a song called "Cake": Also, to throw my two cents in, she doesn't have a typical WASP (or Barbie) flat face, but I think it's rather attractive. The important thing is how her face is structured; for instance, Sarah Jessica Parker has, in some ways, similar features, but I find her stunningly ugly. But I find Gaga's fish face attractive because it's put together well. Personally I would say it's the same kind of thinking that this site is built on; beauty isn't about conforming to arbitrary parameters.
  16. The article I cited might actually be misleading; it's from a few years ago, and in the meantime some younger actresses have started doing it. Personally I think it's ridiculously stupid for young actresses to have that kind of surgery, but unfortunately I wouldn't discount it for that reason alone. Anyway, I didn't mean to imply that I'm sure that that's the explanation; I have no idea whether she did it. Regardless of whether it's natural, her face is suddenly too plump for her body, and I was trying to draw a comparison.
  17. It looks to me like she had that "pillow-face" plastic surgery, where they inject fat into an actress's face. Either way, she's quite naturally pretty and I'd be thrilled to see her actually get plump. Per Google search: http://nymag.com/thecut/2009/05/pillow_face_emerges_from_holly.html
  18. You look really great. Kind of like a more feminine version of Thora Birch from Ghost World. But I'm really surprised to hear that after the kind of radical affect your medication had on you, you're still on it after a few weeks. If it's causing you to engage in risky behavior and it's doing really weird things with your mood and thoughts, you probably should switch medications. I would talk to your doctor about it, and if he/she doesn't take it seriously, I would get a second opinion. Because what you've described doesn't sound like something you should have to go through.
  19. She is absolutely gorgeous. The ultimate hourglass. It's not that she gained a massive amount or anything; it's that she's naturally pretty. She has a great way of moving, and the weight she has gained says a lot about how great her genes are and how she well she takes care of her body. Her fat has a perky, balanced look to it that's very sophisticated.

  21. She looks great. Whenever I see a picture of her I'm reminded of classical sculpture or an opera singer. Some people are simply put together better. Her upper arms balance out her legs very nicely, while her abdomen and chest are understated without ever really being attenuated. And she has a great voice.
  22. She has quite the heroic lower body. She seems to be gaining in a very feminine way. It's also great to see a major celebrity go from "too thin" to "average-thin" without being subjected to derision. Obviously a myriad of body shapes should be represented in the entertainment world.
  23. Ugh. Honestly, this is exactly why I prefer fat women. Personally I think she looks rather gross and asexual (no offense intended towards any English citizens).
