They are stills of a moment in time, easy enough to recall without the photographic reminder but perhaps more accurate than a hazy rose tinted memory.

Agreed, inviting people without knowing for sure what their reaction will be is a bad idea. I've seen far too many pictures from sites like this floating round on joke emails. For the women who post pictures without their friends/family knowing (and the men who post in a similar fashion) one comeback to being found on here by someone they know is that the person who found them is also on here. As soon as people are invited who haven't chosen to come here of their own accord, this 'protection' vanishes. Although I suppose if you are like Vennie and leave your computer history available for all to see this protection is useless anyway!!!

I would lay a bet down right now that the only people who will use the function will be the post whores, the white knights and the people who instigated the installation of the button. It will be used only in the 'Your ...' section and the discussion section. Why would someone come to fap to random pictures and think it is a good idea to rep the post? Also, just by only putting a positive option doesn't mean the function won't provide negative feedback. Using the sites above as an example, these days if a post in Facebook receives no 'likes' people are let down. It doesn't big up the active members, just creates a popularity contest. In the past, women have complained if their pictures haven't received any comments when other girls have many, this makes things worse as there would now be the possibility that people have looked but not even bothered to acknowledge them. I disagree with the implementation of such an option but if it is implemented, I would suggest it isn't put into Your Pictures.

I don't think anyone would disagree with you, in fact I believe GTA was trying to illustrate that. The general gist of this thread has been that the focus of whether or not to date a fat chick has less to do with her size and more to do with the personality and interactions of both parties involved. Ghst_decoy bounced in talking about things like parking closer to entrances and other physical requirements of his relationships with fat chicks - totally irrelevant.

It amuses me that everyone is getting so arsey about this yet the majority of people have similar conversations about the opposite sex for all manner of things. I still think that the spirit of the site is porn which makes it crazy to ban genitalia. On an FA site, someone holding their belly might as well be a picture of a someone getting themselves off. Pretend you aren't looking at hardcore porn when you look at those shots all you like but provided it gets you off rather than mildly pleases you it's hardcore. Disclaimer - when Wilan copies and pastes definitions of hardcore and softcover ignore them, it's the sentiment that counts, applying definitions blindly is as useful as banning vaginas on a porn site.

I was referring to the second 'B' in BBW. Personally, I would prefer to get rid of the entire male section but limiting it to just male genitalia seems strange. It is an adult site based around adult themes. If you are welcoming pictures of men banning pictures of their genitalia whilst allowing women's just seems sexist and hypocritical. I was of the impression that LTC was the touchy feely site and Curvage was the adult site. Banning male genitalia seems rather childish. Atlya, women have genitalia as well, fairly unclear at this point as to whether that is also banned. As for you being a member, sure you are, as am I, but are you really happy about being retrospectively informed about random rules dreamed up by the mod team?

I think that potential indentation is lower down than we are talking. What we need is someone to undertake the experiment for us and post lots of pics. It takes over a year for the indentation to show up, sometimes longer, so it will take dedication. The thing I would most liken it to is corset training.

Actually it can be caused by wearing too tight pants/wearing pants too high or low. Whilst not the cause for everyone, it can be exacerbated by this.

I read through the various irrelevant debates about whether or not it is easy to gain weight. Fact is it is subjective which makes none of you and all of you right in that respect. Call a troll a troll and they will act like a troll. What does frustrate me (and what I believe triggered the OPs post) is these goodbye/hello speeches in Your Pictures. As far as cries for attention go they work pretty well. Each time they happen they stimulate extremely emotive threads like this one where people lose sight of reason. Are we really that blinkered as to their purpose?
