  1. it's one of those machines with the metal plates so perhaps not that accurate after all. I tried today on a different machine; immediately after getting on the machine and walking up to it my heartbeat was 119 bpm but after standing for a minute and I relaxed it went down to a more acceptable 96-98 bpm. I will see if I can get it checked properly when I have my monthly diabetes checkup soon. I have been getting more or less constant tingling in my left hand and fingers the past couple of months so suspect i need to get my medication intake increased, it's a degenerative condition and I have only been taking 2 50mg tablets a day for the past 5 years so I wanted be surprised at all if I need to take larger quantities of the drug.
  2. Kirsten my dear can i follow you? You sound like a dream and you follow me? Cheers babe xx Sam x
  3. who is the girl you speak of would like to know more about her. After 5 years though I am starting to lose the motivation to really try to combat it, I don't have the motivation, it's hard !
  4. indeed, my cholesterol is on the high side but not bad enough at the moment, blood pressure is reasonable ok . The hard thing for me is the balance between being strict with my eating. It's s a total pain. I love food and certainly am addicted to eating, bjg portions and high fat food. to be honest I don't think I will ever stick to the diet I should be aiming for but I make a token gesture to it. I have recently stopped regular smoking after 20 plus years but still smoke of and on. I don't think I have a fatty liver yet anyway! It's very young to be diabetic at 20 but I guess it goes with the territory of being in the FA/BBW scene plus this whole lifestyle is becoming more popular and accepted all over the world these days.
  5. that's what it said, never had it measured properly though. Mind you I am quite out of shape and a smoker although more social now
  6. hiya, wondering if any users on here suffer from any health problems as a result of their weight and gluttonous lifestyle? Particular keen to hear form Bbw or Ssbbw ? I am male, early 40:s and have been diagnosed with type two diabetes since 2013 and sleep apnea since 2011. I have a cpap to help me breath at night and take metformin twice a day for the diabetes. I lost quite a bit of weight when diagnosed going from 18.5 stone to about 15:stone. The only real side affects from diabetes is the tingles I get in my left hand most of the time, other than that the eye damage had been minimal but is now controlled. Plus the fact I cannot eat what i would like to ! I have improved my diet a fair bit to lose the weight but not as much as I should lol 😁 and I exercise hardly ever. I am happy with my lifestyle and enjoy weight gain as a BHM and am a massive fat admirer. Question is how do others feel about the effects of this lifestyle choice on their health? An interesting conversation I think? Thank you to all, hope you can contribute
  7. btw. This was one of those automatic tread mills/ running machine type things
  8. hello, seeking some advice on heart rates and what is considered as unhealthy and dangerous. I am male about 14.5 stone /about 205 pounds . Rarely do any sort of physical excercise. Happened to visit a free gym at a hotel I was staying at and for fun tried a running machine. Undertook the fitness test program, after punching in my weight, age etc. I was sweet to run for 5minutes at about 4mph. After 4 minute it kicked me off saying my heart rate was too high ! Lol ! resting before the test was about 108 and after it was running by the time it kicked me off it was about 195. what is considered normal? Or high? I read somewhere no one should have a heart beats per minute of 220 and ideally your heart should be working at what ever 220 is minus your age. So for me being 42 this would be about 178 however I was up to nearly 200 not planning on doing this again but wondering if doing something like a short burst of fast exercise like this could actually be bad 😂 for someone in my poor condition? thank you, looking forward to your thoughts?
  9. lovely to meet you, I am from nearby to London. You look lovely in those pictures., not too fat,at all.
  10. my wife who is about 310 pounds, will often point out and say when out to people, sort of out loud to any one who is listening " the trouble is at this weight i can't walk so fast as I want to, I can't stand too long, i just can't walk that far anymore,...... I really need to sit down and take a break ........... random stuff like that; very cute. She also if she doesn't need to go out one day or in a hurry will just remain in her underwear! It's too hot to get dressed properly; she sweats so much at this size.
