lordingersoll
So my GF wants a good workout regime for getting a nice, good butt and thatll keep her that sexy athletic look as she starts to put on a gut. Does anyone have any suggestions?
hiro
I'm not sure how to do squats properly, but that is one type of exercise to try. Walking and sprinting are good for the legs and butt.
itisreallyme
A couple sets of squats. Then after you do those, do some more sets of squats. After that, do some more. Just keep doing squats.
Guest subdude_drummer
Seriously, don't follow just squats and more squats...that's bullshit...find out caloric intake, outtake, and go from there, recommended this type of workout flow, from Buffie the Body... https://www.youtube.com/user/Bootynomics this is of course someone trying to get in shape, but remember calories in, calories out, if you have an excess of calories you gain weight, if you have a deficit, then you lose, it's that easy...always start with a daily caloric intake and go from there... itisreallyme
I was admittedly being a bit excessive, but squats are good for that region.

bangs15
As stated before squats and deadlifts for strong butt/legs, but also cardio. Yes, this will make gaining slightly slower but a calorie surplus via food is easy compared to what's burned from a cardio exercise. If she's not burning a good amount of calories it'll all just go to her belly and she'll look like most gainers who gain super fast and intentionally and just look pregnant with skinny arms and legs. drewedwards1451266076
My wife does Zumba and Turbokick, which has kept her relatively firm and shapely despite a very full-bodied bbw. She also does yoga several times a week but I am not sure if that has anything to do with her build.
tw71
A lot of women have kind of a mental block against doing it, but actual weightlifting/power lifting is ideal for this goal (keeping some size while keeping a shapely figure at the same time). You have to have a high calorie intake to build muscle and strength (not just the "toning" thing that most women seem to do in the gym). And the fears that it'll make you look like a guy are just not founded in reality. Unless you're undergoing hormone therapy or taking a lot of the right kind of drugs, you're not going to get "all bulky with muscle" as a female. What you will do, with enough dedication and time put in to it, is build up a solid core underneath the "chub" and be able to lift impressive amounts of weight (which are actually the amounts you *should* be able to move around anyway at your own body weight). As a general rule of thumb, it's absolutely possible and a sign of a "good level of fitness" to be able to leg press at least 2x your body weight. If you're a 140lb. girl pushing 280lbs. -- that's great, but honestly, nothing that people will look at and go "Wow.... check that out!" If, however, you're a 350lb. girl pushing 700lbs. -- now people are going to be impressed. Take advantage of your size, in other words!
drewedwards1451266076
I often wushu my wife would get more into weight training. She is very buxom and from what I understand that can help some of the back pain.
