  1. Who else thinks this way? Growing up, I was surrounded primarily by plus-size women. And since school, a stereotype appeared in my head that a grown woman is a plus-size woman. Not necessarily fat, but definitely not skinny. For me, this was especially noticeable when I compared girls from high school or even girls from university (who were predominantly thin) with older women who were predominantly plus size.
  2. I only saw it once. A distant relative of mine began to gain weight at one point in her life. Before this she was relatively thin. I don't know exactly how much she gained, but it was definitely at least 30 to 40 pounds. She was 25 or 26 years old at that time. And I remember how in one conversation she said that she liked how she gained weight and that she didn’t want to be thin. Her mother also praised her for gaining weight. Her mother is quite a large woman BTW. Apparently she didn't like that her daughter was thin🤭. Maybe that’s why her daughter was happy with the weight she had gained. I don’t know...
