  1. That was taken in a hotel that's about 10 minutes away from my house. I wish I'd have known, I'd have happily offered to put her up for nowt. Not sure the missus would have been particularly keen, mind.
  2. An update: http://youtu.be/cv2Vjnjvuvc
  3. Taken on the Sky Sports News Christmas night out..
  4. From her Twitter account.
  5. Truth uttered right there. It simply hasn't been off the television in our house for the last couple of weeks. My lad is now wanting to try a variety of sports he didn't even know existed (I've drawn the line at bloody equestrianism though) and that in itself is great, he's mad for rugby and football but if he wants to go to a athletics club because he wants to be Bolt or Farah then that's great. Sooner that than spending time glued to a PS3 or xBox. From a general perspective of the games as whole, I think the rest of world have been caught on the hop by the mighty sporting prowess of God's own county of Yorkshire. We've snaffled a quarter of Team GB's Gold medals so far (including, most recently, Hull's own Luke Campbell in the Bantamweight boxing, drawing my own fair city ahead of Belgium and India in the medals table)!

  8. Hmm. Given the passing years wither my grey matter to a similar size to that of a Stegosaurus, that's rather apt for me. Oh yeah..introductions. I'm Tigerrag. If you remember me, I'm sorry. I really am. I'll send another cheque for more therapy sessions and everything. Welcome back, old chap! Change of avatar, I see. BTW, in the old days, did you actually do any moderating? I recall that you were said to be in "semi-retirement"... Many thanks mate. Nice to see there's still a few familiar faces floating about. I was due an avatar change I think, the last one was chosen when God was a boy! In the pre-Curvage days I did a lot of moderating although it was a bit of a closed shop in those days with regards to that (I think it was just Chappers, Luke and yours truely but I could be wrong). I did the odd bits and pieces after then but given the rapid growth of the forum in both members and posts coupled with a significant decrease in my activity on here - hence semi retirement - I hardly pulled my weight with it to any great degree in the last few years.
  9. It's been an eternity since I made any meaningful contribution to the 'old' Curvage and certainly not to this fresh faced whippersnapper of a forum so I might as well continue in the same vein. Browsing YouTube recently, I stumbled across a Mick Ronson song that was released on a posthumous album several years ago. The song itself isn't anything the special, a little ploddy in places but then at 3:11, a beautifully constructed and played guitar solo kicks in. That in itself shouldn't be surprising, Ronson was one of the most under-rated guitarists of his generation IMHO, but I wondered that despite the talent of that solo, it's audience would be relatively limited. I mean I've got some Ronson solo work and hadn't heard that song before. I bet there are more a few works of 'axe artistry' that haven't been given the audience it deserves for whatever reason, even more obscure acts/musicians than a former Spider from Mars as well. Does anyone have suggestions?

  11. The only old board photos I can offer up I'm afraid. Not topical but they are quite good and worth reposting. Further photos can be found here: http://www.judgmentofparis.com/charlotte1.htm
