this i don't know too much about; wilan was my moderator (and protector) of choice and that was a long time ago...

I’ll give you my slant on what’s up, taking into account this logging in this past March. I think he passed on. Wilan was old (actually my junior by two years) but still in the age bracket where people start dying. The logging in was probably done by someone that has oversight regarding his estate and was doing some last checking up, etc. It wasn’t Wilan’s style to just drop his duties as this website’s top and most respected moderator. Some tragedy is sadly involved. The abrupt disappearance and the mystery involved is part of the strange culture that has evolved on the Net. We ultimately remain strangers no matter how close we get in cyberspace

Hmm, interesting. Maybe he's just burned out with this place. Maybe someone offended him. I recently back some time ago told him to fuck off but he knows I love him so I don't think he took it seriously.

Wilan was a Briit who lived in Finland. And I sadly agree with an above post, maybe he's dead. Also in accord with another post, it was not his style just to vanish without some word.

Is there some reason why we're still unable to install an avatar pic? How long has this problem gone on? This very same thing happened a few years back when Curvage started breaking down technically as a website. It's a bad sign. An omen, even. And it's sloppy.
