I think you raise some valid points. And i also think we might need to keep an eye on younger people from recent generations in order to assess. I'd furthermore elaborate and say that they are probably more impressionable to specifically sociopolitical activists, especially presented under the vague guise of "relatability" and fellowship etc. Because it wont read as political to a lot of people who are just seeking to consume media mostly for entertainment. Sadly transgenderism is inherently political due to the worlds inability to handle the discussion as anything other than as being about their immedeate right to even fucking exist??? I can assure anyone who doesn't know any trans people that they are mostly interested in living lives, being left alone and not having everyone in the room telling them their opinions on them existing whenever they enter any social setting. I think its very difficult in a lot of situations for some people to not " be about" their identity and such when its literally the only thing society seems interested in engaging in with them, whether the opinions expressed be good or bad. It's a pretty depressing thing to write about all in all i'd say.

As far as i'm concerned it's always been kinda' obvious for people around me due to my choice in ladies. If you have somewhat decent friends the only thing that'll happen is the occasional joke to wich you might aswell respond with a joke about how their taste is unbelieveably stale and predictable. It's not a big deal really, just be yourself and be confident and people will accept it. Most unoriginal advice ever i know, but really it's probably valid for you as it was for me.
