    Sort by likes

It would be nice to be able to sort threads by number of likes inside them again, specially in sections focused on posting content. I think it was one of the most important uses of likes. Sometimes it really helps to find good threads; it helps even more with threads that have unappealing titles but good content and the other way around. Also, it makes users feel that clicking the like button means something because it helps the rest of the community.
  2. When I click on one section of the top of a thread list, it orders from lower to higher. For example, if I click on Replies, I will see at the top threads with zero replies. I will have to click the button again to get the threads with the highest number replies at the top. The same goes if I click Views, Likes, or any other button. I think the most common case for clicking those buttons is to see the topics with the highest number of likes, views or replies. When I order them by date, usually I'd want the most recent topic at the top. So I think those buttons should work the other way around: first click gets you the highest threads at the top, second click the lowest threads at the top. It's very simple and a small change, but I think it would be very practical and it would help make the most of the nice changes Curvage is having.
  3. I hope this doesn't count as necroposting. I just don't think it deserves a new topic. I believe the duplicate image aproach could help with bandwith a little, since people would store those images in cache and download them only one time. On the same topic, pictures could be compressed a lot more to weight a lot less; that could help a lot with bandwith.
  4. Forums are mainstream and retro.
  5. Curvage is really cool the way it is! The software is also great. It's already better than FF on restrictions and resources (for example, the fact that they host video instead of using videos that their own users can host in youtube anyway). The board is nicelly organized. To improve it, I believe anything that makes community spirit works. Things that promote use of videochat, meetups, a wiki, better use of the legends and paid content section (some kind of faving system could be really nice). Anything that encourages content different to pictures could also work. Dimensions was one of the best places to post wg stories sometime ago, but since Observer could not be there anymore and then restrictions grew, it hasn't been as used as it was before. There are a lot of writers out there and it could be nice to encourage them all to post their stories on Curvage, asign a Curator and all that. That could extend to all of the General Arts sections. A little more focus on sections related to FA comunity that are not about pictures and videos would be cool. Curvage will probably always have a big fap-content part at its core, but its members are also interested in more than that. So FA related discussions, news, tips and other sections could be expanded and created. I do believe current Curvage is already better in many ways than FF and with time it will probably be more popular. I think that one of the reasons FF is so popular is the dating oportunities centered on FA's related fetishes; but I doubt a dating system would work on Curvage. So, from being off some months ago, to what it is now, I believe it has proved to be on the right direction.
  6. Please don't do that.
  7. Yes, the images are automatically resized. It would be very simple to make that plug in your self.
  8. I think it is a good solution to make images smaller if they exceed forum width, but sometimes it ruins the picture if one cannot download the original image. For example, take this great thread by TheOwl: http://www.curvage.org/forum/index.php?topic=3123.0 Some pictures there are just ruined by being forced to such a small width. If the link bellow the images directed to the original image file, I think it would be much better. : ) That's all. Thank you, people from up high above.
  9. +1. People use Your Arts like that anyway.
  10. That makes sense. Legend status sounds too weird to work. A thread could be made in General Pictures with bbw's that are widely accepted to have that "legend status" anyway.
  11. There were some BBW's that used to be very well known in Curvage, even traditional, like Alix, Brooke and Kelly. I suppose it was decided to keep only women with recent material in that section, but I believe that is a mistake. Alix, for example, won't be having updates any time soon, but it's such a good material that it shouldn't be lost in all the rubble. Isn't the point of the Familiar Faces to have a place for BBW's that have stood out? Its even more useful to have threads there for BBW's that stand out but don't have new material than to have threads that wouldn't be in the bottom of General Pictures anyway.
  12. Yeah. It's about money. Before, only rich people could afford enough food to not be thin. Now, poor people have to eat cheap and fast food that make them fat; while rich people can afford gym, quality food, nutritionist and, sometimes, even a regular balanced diet cooked by someone else.
