Do dating apps work? I’ve been on quite a few over the years and I’m lucky to even get one match if I do I get ghosted not too long after.
do you think they are a waste of time?

I think for the most part they suck but they do work sometimes! I think people can tend to be more shallow on them but you can still find some nice people to connect with. I’d say to be sure your profile pics are up to date and show you doing fun things you enjoy, everyone is more attractive when they’re enjoying themselves! Also not saying you would but as a female who’s been on them in the past, don’t be a creep or rude and ALWAYS start with more of an intro then hey. I used to have a rule if a guy just said “hey” or “hi” I wouldn’t respond 😅 I like to have quality conversations!

@ThickAsHoney I’ve always struggled with starting a conversation especially since I don’t know them yet. If I do talk it’s usually’Hi how are you today?’ It’s kinda hard to tell what they are into when most of the photos they have are them drinking or pulling faces… or the hardest is when they have the same 3 people in all the photos they took so you can’t tell who it actually is.

Oh gosh that’s classic 😅 that’s hard! Honestly idk those instances are hard! It should be a rule to have one pic of you alone. Bumble offers girls an opening line to use which were usually lil quips or witty questions. I’d just google start questions or intros 😆 asking how there day is bette than a strict “hey”. I personally wouldn’t even reach out to people who don’t offer more on their profiles cause I’m not into that and if that’s what they post that’s probably what they do, maybe I’m just harsh. It doesn’t have to be anything revolutionary as long as it’s a genuine question, you could ask what movie they love, or what’s their tv guilty pleasure?

Dating apps work for some but not for everyone. Despite them claiming that they use algorithms to help find a match (this is from someone I know who is close to me).
She decided to try eHarmony and didn’t have much luck with it. There were a few replies here and there, but nothing serious or the guys weren’t genuine, nor did they show respect. Now, some guys are honest and it’s a matter of looking on different sites along with in person as well. If there is the opportunity a person is meant to date, it will happen without complications.@ThickAsHoney and others who contribute their advice/suggestions would indeed have useful information on this topic. Timing can be important

Is there any lovely female feedees on here that would love to chat? I’m looking for someone I can talk to. And I’m from Australia so the time difference might be different for anyone overseas.

I’m finding myself these days finding older women more and more attractive especially when they have that little belly shape showing under their clothes. #singleproblems 😂
