You nailed it. I wish people would just be tolerant of others preferences. It can be extremely depressing to see people on here or other places like this who ridicule others for preferring thinner girls or whatever it may be. I really thought communities like this would be more empathetic and tolerant considering how unaccepted our preferences generally are. I have also known a lot of girls who really struggle with their body image. There really are countless ways to fail at being an attractive girl, some of my friends have really felt the impact of that and I've seen it leave a really negative mark on their lives. It's so sad. I've also been on the other side of the spectrum where I felt really unaccepted and freakish for liking something that others (and what can seem like the entire world at times) don't like at all. Here's to hoping that the future will be better for those who are growing up today.
