Sometimes people just don't understand that people are different. The majority of people out there does not have this fetish, you can't blame someone for their sexual preference. Just as much as you can't call someone racist because they are not attracted to white or black people.

I'm not writing this to make you feel bad, but rather to enlighten you that maybe you should be transparent about your fetish with your SO. And if you can't find a common ground, that has a risk of breeding resentment. Sometimes it is better to part ways.
