This is a weird contradiction in our society. In previous generations, the standard of beauty (as seen in art of the time) was substantially plumper than now. Now we have an absurdly thin standard of beauty, coupled with prevalent obesity. Almost as if there were a cultural conspiracy to make women feel unattractive.
