I miss prime Christina Aguilera. Those stories in the early 2000s about her eating habits were the best.

Some really good insight on these responses. I’m just shocked that they don’t explore weight gain in basically any way, even comedic. Like if someone gains 5-10 pounds and can’t fit into something, to me it’s grounds for even a funny story line. It’s not demeaning or shameful, it’s just life. It’s crazy to me how untouchable the subject is. I once remember reading that during Seinfeld, Julia Louis Dreyfus got pregnant and Jerry wanted to write it in as a weight gain story line cause he thought it would be funny. She literally cried at the idea so they scrapped it. She later admitted that it would have been funny and she should have done it. Now in her instance, she was pregnant so any emotional response to something involving her body is understandable. I just wish I understand why weight gain frightens women so much in general

Not to be a negative nelly, but this thread is a reminder of who taboo this fetish really is. With all the crazy shit tv is willing to explore, you’d think good weight gain content wouldn’t be so hard to come by.

Never say never. A super skinny Christina Aguilera started with a fast food with addiction in the early 2000s.

Funny thing about Dolph is believe that he’s one of us. He dates Trisha P. a few years back and I believe Amy Schumer for a bit.

I’ve never seen a place where people respond to uninteresting posts weeks later more than here. Who cares at this point?

I thought we had one of those already? -
That’s fair. My point is that past history has told us that they’re full of shit with this subject and I feel she will be no different. I guess I’m just dreaming for the day when a formally skinny female celeb truly embraces a curvy figure for the long term. In my estimation, it takes just one to do it and then others may not be so shy about being filmed with a little extra.

Yes, but Lana Del Ray started out that way

Well said. It’s not a rant. Her body is hers so of course I’m not mad at her. It’s just hypocritical and self serving.

That was a rant? And for the record, Anna Nicole may have killed herself mixing diet drugs with all sorts of drugs, and Kirstie Alley became the spokeswoman for weight watchers after creating a tv show that had a backdrop of her being depressed that she has become a “fat actress”

Haha. No. It’s just it’s a pattern I noticed with celebrities. They gain a little weight and preach body positivity as an excuse for gaining that weight. Then they go hide their bodies for a few months until they get thinner, again. Then, you never hear about body positivity from them, again. I hope I’m wrong about her, but I honestly can’t think of one instance where any celeb spent most of her career thin, and then fully embraced a more thicker look, long term.
