Will the chair collapse under all my weight? It has happened! At a restaurant in Grand Turk, I thought I’d need to take the food to go . It was a little family owned Caribbean place where not much budget was placed into decor and seating. There were plastic chairs that I really thought would bust under my heavy bottom. I had to sit near the edge of the seat because my whole butt and hips would not fit. Whatever could fit certainly still spilled out the sides. My belly no longer really leaves any space between me and the steering wheel. I know the cost of food rising is a factor in that, but I feel over the past year my food is disappearing much quicker from the fridge and cupboards and I am more often having to replenish my stock. My appetite also gets insane when I have a busy day. And I wondered if I would fit in it. Was trying to get in and out quickly so I didn’t sit down. But based on the weight limit vs my weight (and without revealing the # in the thread) do you think I should get a couple for my patio/fire pit area ? Or will I just break it ? Although there's something sexy about squeezing a beautiful body like yours into too-small chairs, I'd also like to consider your comfort.
