Reminds me, I would absolutely love to see Melissa making a guest appearance on American Housewife and keep the trend rolling so to speak, because in epi 3 of season 4 the cast of "The Drew Carey Show" will be reunited, Diedrich Bader was a part of that cast. Guest Ms. LovelyMeow Posted September 28, 2019 Share Posted September 28, 2019 Also, I think it's safe to say that this show has no continuity editor - look at this shot-reverse-shot taken in the hallway: First we have the camera taking an over the shoulder shot from Katy's perspective, putting her husband in focus when he's speaking: When they want to switch to Katy's dialogue, they switch the view for an over the shoulder shot from the husband so that Katy is in focus when speaking: If there's something that just feels 'off' about these two camera angles, it's because they failed to keep their actors standing where they should be and the result is an impossible angle that has Katy teleporting to the right every time her husband speaks. It's especially jarring in the episode because they keep snapping back and forth between the two shots and it's like staring at an optical illusion. It's a bit weird as well, because the solution is to just flip one of the shots horizontally and then everyone appears where they should. I'm just working with what they gave me, so if there's a violation it's from their original angle. Also, don't forget that violating the 180 degree rule is less harsh than violating the laws of physics that Katy "The Amazing Teleporting Mom" Mixon would have done anyways.
