Man, I love Pam Grier. I thought she was at her best in Jackie Brown, but honestly she has always looked great. I remember when I saw Larry Crowne I kept wishing she'd get more screen time because she just looked so good.

As a bit of a throwback…here are a handful of photos featuring Pam around the time that she was in the Tom Hanks film, “Larry Crowne” (2011). On the plus side of her supporting role among a somewhat stacked cast, Pam (who was right on the cusp of becoming as fat as she is today) is showcased at her absolute thickest. On the downside of things, in the film overall, she only has a handful of appearances; disappearing for a good bit of the run time after her first appearance, only to reappear later in the last act.

Happy Wayback Wednesday.

Here's a random makeshift "before & after" photo find via Facebook. This makeshift collage shows off Pam in her prime during the Blaxploitation era (circa 1972) vs. how she looks these days (thanks in part to a promo pic from 2021).

Even though age is obviously a contributing factor, and you can easily say that she’s been gradually getting thicker since the mid-90s to the point where she started to look a bit plump by the end of the 00s (before outright “blowing up” by 2010), you have to admit that it is quite impressive how much extra weight she’s managed to let herself gain; whereas other actresses have drastically gone out of their way to stay skinny as they get older.

I wouldn't mind her trying to rock her Foxy Brown outfit now.

Happy Wayback Wednesday!!!

To give a bit of a much-needed update, as well as recap some public appearances she's made, here are some recent photos that were taken a couple of weeks ago.
