Don't sweat the small stuff, You're never going to be everyone's cup of tea, if people really want to be with you they will make an effort to do so. I'm grateful for my time in therapy and I hope you have found it useful too! 😊

very true, I only recently learned this. painting a picture of a pretend perfect person online isn’t going to save you from rejection. you’re just screwing yourself over in more ways than you can understand.

just be yourself, even if you're a total freaking "weirdo". how else will all the other wierdos locate you if you aren’t being authentic 🙂

thank you for sharing ❤️

Those thighs of are not chunky, they are EXTRA chunky and that's the way I like them.

That comment is begging for a question...  How much bigger would you like your waist (and belly) to be?

my waist has always been the thinnest part of my torso, in my opinion, it would just look better with more rolls.. I wish cellulite would gather there!

I'm a big camera nerd, so I've got to ask.  What kind of camera did you get?

took me a hot minute to reply because i have a lot of gear and wanted to try to include everything I have lol

I was gifted my first camera when I was 12 and I used it for 8 years. It was a Nikon COOLPIX L120 pictured below:
** I am over 18 in this photo

My second camera was a Nikon D5000 that I bought myself in 2015 after saving up for it. I absolutely loved this camera and currently, I allow my photography assistance use it on my paid shoots. The only photo I can find is one I took of my smoothie with the camera in the background xD. I had this from 2015-2021. Pictured below.

In 2020, I started experimenting with Action Cameras (aka GoPro). I ordered an off brand model so I could learn how to use it while doing extraneous activities, such as swimming, snowboarding, hiking, waterfall hunting, etc. I had the Campark ACT74, I paid $40 because I caught it on sale. I had it for maybe 6 months before I bought a new one. Pictured below:

Black Friday 2020, I purchased a GoPro Hero 8. I used this camera for filming since I didn't have to fuss with the focus, it had a wide angle lens, and extremely simple/lightweight which was great for setting up. The quality is great but I always felt it looked a little off when it came to my stationary videos. This camera is GREAT if you're on the go, dealing with liquids/messes bc it is waterproof, and is extremely small/lightweight so it's easy to transport/setup literally anywhere without causing a major disruption in public. Picture below:

In Spring 2021, I bought a camera bag FULL of gear from a yard sale for $20. Inside was a
Canon Digital Rebel XT DSLR, all of it's gear, and a bonus lens that was worth $200. I used the camera for the past few months, it's very old, so I hope to rehome it to a collector. Pictured below is everything that came out of the Canon bag.

My current camera is the Canon EOS Rebel T100 that was gifted to me on Christmas 2021. I just wanted a newer Canon to work with and this one really achieved what I want.

I'm always hoping to learn more about new gear/equipment that can improve my setup. I'm currently saving up for an adjustable background stand backdrop and another softbox lighting kit :) I would like to have a microphone to help pick up all the sounds I make, but I have no idea about that kind tech 😅

Hope you enjoyed my thorough response @JamesJAB! Thank you for asking 🙂 Photography is my life's passion.

Good choice jumping to Canon.  Here are a few fun facts from my camera journey.

When buying extra lenses try to avoid EF-S lenses because they will only work on crop sensor cameras like your rebels.  EOS 1D, 5D and 6D are full size (35mm) sensors.

The EF mount has been around since the late 80's, and all of them are 100% compatible with the entire range of EOS SLR cameras (film and digital).

Don't be afraid to get an old L glass EF lens used.

If you want to make the jump to a full size sensor, you can't go wrong with a used EOS 6D. (I own a 6D and upgraded to a 6D mkII)
