Weightgaincheck
I’ve been becoming more and more in tune with my affinity to watching people gain weight, including my own gain, over the past few years. I haven’t gained much, but I know some people close to me that have gained a good amount and I enjoy watching it happen from a distance. I have found myself at a point where I am so distracted by it, that it affects my everyday life. I think about them gaining weight, and what they are doing on a day to day that will help or hurt that. It has gotten to the point that now when one person in particular started getting serious about going to the gym and getting in shape, I feel upset by it and think about it too often. Not sure if anyone has a great solution to this or anything, but this feels like a safe space to share. fatowl, extra_m13, vpprof and 1 other 3
vpprof
Excellent post. Many people have had similar feelings here. 14 hours ago, Weightgaincheck said: It has gotten to the point that now when one person in particular started getting serious about going to the gym and getting in shape, I feel upset by it and think about it too often. Yes, so there seems to have developed a bond going from you towards that other person, doesn't it? Almost as if you're responsible for them. Because if you look at it with an impartial eye, you know, someone got fat, then decided to shed the weight; on the surface it's like a person having a personal problem and making a personal decision that they have the right to make and that doesn't really affect anyone else. And yet it makes you upset. How do you understand it? 14 hours ago, Weightgaincheck said: but this feels like a safe space to share Well, sometimes it is, sometimes it isn't. There's many judgmental people on here who'll attempt to literally pulverize anyone who admits to having a 'forbidden' feeling. Such as being sad that another individual decides to lose weight / change sex / withdraw from the porn scene / … Unfortunately, there's threads in which these pricks abound and they do chase people away. I don’t have great photos or anything, so nothing worthwhile to post unfortunately. I was always thin and athletic, so I muscular build to a certain degree. I stopped working out and lost a lot of muscle mass. I used to be very conscious of my diet as well, but it seems like it’s been a while since I’ve really worried about that. Lmk if you are interested in knowing any more! fatowl
