On my first day a new coworker (after baking me a whole cake to welcome me on my first day) said: "You can use the mini-fridge in my office anytime" after I saw them checking out my tummy while I was eating a plate of the cake she had brought in for me... On my second day, my boss surprised me and the other trainees by bringing in breakfast (so I was expected to eat this second breakfast to be polite after I had already eaten at home beforehand). You remind me of a former co-worker who went from slightly chubby to obese while I was there, and the way she talked about her own weight and bad habits and the way she responded when I did told me it wasn't just my imagination.
