I suspect that John may be a professor of some sort. He probably does research on this topic for himself and to shine a light in fat fetishism, using a mixture of knowledge from gender studies, history and intercultural/cross-cultural studies. Tbh, I really respect his work, though I feel it would be best to create a blog/journal like platform separate from his musings on this website and Reddit.
