In a way of giving a much-needed update, as well as make up for quite a bit of lost time, here is a set of fairly recent set of photos that were taken over a few months ago.

It's truly remarkable that Gina talked herself off of one of the biggest shows on any streaming platform and landed as close to the bottom of the barrel as possible by doing right-wing cinematic drivel; such as this soon to be released “biopic” which drops next week.

Given the fact that this four-week film production took place back in October 2021 (right around the time that this casting announcement clip was posted), and her social media output has been rather infrequent in terms of any full-body pics, there’s no telling if she has let herself get any bigger since then. Guess we'll have to wait until she makes another public appearance...

Disregarding the overall quality of the film’s trailer posted below, she does get a decent amount of focus when she does happen to appear onscreen. While her acting career has clearly taken a nosedive in terms of being cast in something worthwhile, her weight has steadily continued to rise overtime. I guess that it’s safe to say that the fear that Gina had back in 2019 of looking like a "big buff refrigerator" (while she was still on “The Mandalorian”) has come true, and despite my previous comment, seems like she's well on her way to possibly ("fingers crossed") exceeding her current weight by the year's end.

Here’s another recent interview of Gina wearing her go-to casual, colorblock knit poncho that subtly (more like poorly) cloaks the slowly-expanding body shape that probably resides underneath. 

On a random aside: It is a real shame that she never stood up, or took off that tent-like poncho, during this interview, given the broadness of her shoulders, as well as how large she was looking overall; particularly in the face, arms, and hands.

Stating the obvious: If you could not tell from her round face and the wideness of her equally "fuller figure" that is prominently shown off over the course of this lengthy interview recently posted by The Daily Wire (let alone its thumbnail that heightens the contrast), it looks like Gina’s has let herself become a bit bigger since her last appearances/interviews from a few months earlier.

Going by a comment she made early on in the video: There is no doubt that she has slowly, but surely regained the 35 lbs. (and then some) that she struggled to shed while training in Muay Thai nearly two decades ago; she went from 175 lbs. to 140 before her first-ever MMA bout back in 2006. Then again, the numerous appreciative/disparaging remarks in the comment section can attest to how long it really has been since she was in any sort of "fighting shape."

On a random aside: In past interviews regarding her diet plan & workout routine, Carano stated that she usually struggles the most with her weight during the winter, primarily between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Hopefully, during this period, coupled with the dry spell in her acting career, Gina manages to continue down the path of letting herself get considerably rounder (perhaps to the point of looking like an absolute blimp) going into the new year.

I remember when Ronda Rousey called her out and said Gina was scared of her, and said "I'll fight her at any weight", not wasting the chance to have a jab at her weight. I would love to watch her fight Rousey at her current weight.

Given that she was already looking quite large during The Mandalorian Season 2, the fact that she has not done much since Disney let her go (no big movie roles), and her overall lack of discipline reigning in her fluctuating weight when she’s not constantly training and dieting (she’s always been a bigger girl, even during her MMA career), it’s honestly no surprise that those factors (not to mention she's now in her 40s) would heavily contribute to her looking absolutely massive. You would have to be completely blind (taking into many of the YouTube comments) not to notice her fat hands, the tentlike nature in which that black, size-cloaking outfit desperately clings to her figure (the broadness of her shoulders is truly telling), and most obviously, the newfound plumpness of her round chubby face and neck (like she's right on the cusp of attaining a permanent double chin). Even with yesterday's news of her being picked up a new talent agency (Straightwire Entertainment Group), it is going to be a pretty tall order for Gina to shed those extra pounds and get back into any sort of shape if she needed to.
