more of softcore kind of mind. pornhub is fucking terrible. tumblr went downhill into a fire.

and youtube is out here shadow banning fat fetish related content in multiple ways. you watch a video of some woman being fat and then get recommend black head, skin care , and children's toy videos for some dumb fucking reason. it's almost as if...almost like...youtube is playing a passive aggressive game of psychology warfare. like they want to stamp out the horny with out outright banning people so they throttle the shit out if their search and recommend videos experiences.

my mind is to soft core oriented and uninspired to care about "le epic hot sexy spicy sex film videos online for free that's porn that is also sexy"

not a fan of the way social media is going these days 😔🤙

In my experience, that type of content is recommended no matter what your history is. I have a totally non-porn account and I get recommended irrelevant stuff exactly as you've described all the time.

Yeah, as bigorang3 said, this isn't a targeted campaign or something of the sort.  To my inderstanding, this has to do with youtube changing their algorithms to favor "safe" content, so questionable content like 'fake news' or 'conspiracy theories' for example, don't get promoted.  This affects everything from politics to otherwise benign content.

Who determines what 'safe' content is? Do I need Google to determine that for me? There's a fine line with 'censoring' there, which I don't like being so close.

A couple months ago a Youtube exec had an interview with Eugene Lee Yang. It was mostly filled with the type of responses you'd expect from someone trying to get their company good PR. The useful part of it was that she did address in some detail how the algorithm works and the changes that were made to it.

I agree with the others in the thread, my money's on a change to their recommendations algorithm. A few years back it used to be scary good at recommending other FA/BBW content, across various contributor accounts. So they had the ability to do it at some point; it's not like you suddenly lose that capability - it's software.

YouTube's too big and successful now and doesn't need small, independent content creators. They're all about big corporations. And big corporations are all about money and image. So keep your nasty porn off YT and take the corporate recommendations so we can monetize your viewing with commercials.
