Especially if it's an idea to make lives easier for customers. However, there are always a lot of things to consider. For example buyers remorse is far more likely with high dollar purchases. Realistically we never want anyone feeling that way. Goal here is to have happy customers all of the time. Not shooting your idea down by any means, just letting you know all good ideas come with many things to consider. Thank you for the idea. But yeah there's always someone who's going to misclick despite several prompts before the actual purpose. Maybe a separate section for what's on sale, like with the video game stores. Or would that get too gnarly if Curvage uses a NoSQL? Can clips be bought more than once by mistake, whether in the same or separate transactions? This is a policy in place to maintain the highest level of security. True the risks are minimal but we will take every minor ounce of security we can to protect our models/members and customers. EDIT: the ability to buy more than once is a feature. Some patrons want to give extra support to the models and choose to buy the same clip more than once intentionally. If you click on a clip you've already purchased, you'll get a message that says "It appears that you've already purchased this clip before, are you sure you want to purchase it again?" Users that have made a mistake and didn't realize they already downloaded the clip will be informed, and users that want to purchase the same clip twice to express their patronage will continue to the next screen to complete their purchase. I ran into that issue going nuts with @CandyCandelaria's crazy sale. Why buy the same clip twice when chances are there are other clips to buy.
