waddell
Is anyone else having trouble with attached pictures becoming very pixelated when clicked on to enlarge?

S77
just back away from your monitor. 1.5 Inch's from your screen isn't proper focal length for Curvage viewing.
frankclay
I have the same problem. I first noticed it yesterday. I thought I had a virus, but checked and found none.

S77
wow, that is super weird. I opened up the same image and got this.
Guest Atlya
This. It looks like the picture hasn't loaded entirely (there are two ways to load a jpeg, from top to bottom or through different levels of details). Try reloading the page, what about saving the picture on your disk?
Guest fa2137
Saving the picture does the same pixelated thing as on internet
Dr. Feeder
All the thumbnails become pixelated when you expand them (example attached). At least for me. It's as if the thumbnail image is being expanded to the proper image size. Downloading to disk does not help.

frankclay
Is there a throttle or limit on this site? Maybe the bandwidth is constrained when activity levels are high. The price of success.
S77
I didn't put one on. I will check with the host.
S77
okay, I am going to try and get to the bottom of this. Everyone who is having this problem please state your browser version, your ISP, your OS and whatever other information you think might be useful. I am going to start looking for the pattens. also try "SHIFT + RELOAD" see if that helps.
guinness
I'm normally using Firefox 17.0.1 on Windows 7. Shift and reload didn't help unfortunately, but thanks for that suggestion. I tried Internet Explorer, but I get the same result. Edit: Spoke too soon. Didn't realize it was happening with regular images too.
tiggertoo
Happening for me too - Firefox 17.0.1, Windoze 7 Professional 64 bit, ISP BT Infinity.
Guest fa2137
Happening with IE9 on Windows 7x64
Dr. Feeder
Chrome, Vista, AT&T Links to images on other websites work fine. Shift-refresh just reloads the same bad image. Further info: Let's look at the first pic from:Re: Danielle's college gain « Reply #4 on: Today at 08:25:44 AM » Inspecting the element gives: Clicking on the thumbnail image gives me a "Bad pic" icon. Clicking on the file name underneath the image gives me a large pixelated and/or corrupt version of the thumbnail. I have to say that "http://www.curvage.org/forum/imageserver.php?thumb=124194;image" is an odd looking url. The problem may be related to that. S77
it's every image .. everytime? What if you try to save the image?
lucky_mike
In fact, the problem disappeared since my last message. Did you do something ? I absolutely don't know if there is a link, but I renewed my Kaspersky license this morning and it's the only thing I did on my computer.
tiggertoo
Not sure if it's related, but I'm running Kaspersky too... and I still have the image problem.
tiggertoo
For anyone who's interested, this does seem to be Kaspersky related. I turned my Kaspersky off for a couple of minutes and the images worked fine. Turned it back on and blam... back to pixellated...
