The poorer readership performance in other niche forums is not your fault.

It's been about one year than a brunt of active forum-goers on both F.F. and DM are no longer predominantly populated by litterature enthusiasts and you can almost feel it while reading years-long popular threads on DM or the habit that most people there push anyone with a knack for storytelling and novel-length commentary away by either ignoring, mocking or downright insulting them. The fact that DM has practically close its famed Dimensions Library from one hand, and that to the other hand a lot of writers migrated out of FF following their failure at meeting their expectations regarding the website update and what may help to not botching their artwork while posting there, didn't certainly helped.

Also, the Curvage population is obviously much younger and proactive than the general audience from those other websites, which may perhaps have a correlation with the greater readership rate.

Wow, very informative.  Thank you.  I got the impression the DM scene was very quite, luckily nobody's ever been disrespectful to me or my stories over there.  And yes, I noticed that FF has a very odd uploading system.  Yeah, curvage and deviantart seem to be the places to post at the moment, although I hear deviantart is about to change its web layout, so hopefully that change does not drive users away.

Thanks for sharing, this actually clears a lot of things up and makes me feel better.

Mate, I’ve lurked here for about 6 years and never left a single comment... until now. For me personally I can’t get enough of your writing style long burn is STRONG. I missed the era of dimensions but loved reading the stories. I’m only 22 but there’s something way more satisfying reading a story than looking at a model that posts every 2 hours recycling photos for clicks. Idk please don’t stop, I’d love to see someone like berserker illustrate this, kate struggling into her clothes is right up his street but I know he’s busy now with other projects. Oh well speech over see you in another 6 years.

I'm very honored this story was the first to push you to comment.  Yeah, I think the long burn WG story is almost becoming a lost art and I think I really understand why.  It is a pretty rough path to follow.  I think I caught the tail-end of Dimension's golden years, but I was never an active author during that period, I only started posting stories a little over five years ago after my favorite author at the time semi-retired (Maxymumspider btw).  Yeah, a long form story is certainly different than model's posting stuff.  I think you've gotta delay gratification to stick with a longform story and that makes it a different kind of experience when it is done well.  Longform stories were always my favorite but so few ever get finished.

I do want to continue with MJY, and I feel that if I ever get a lot of free time, I will return to it, but the process of writing the same slow story that is over a hundred pages burns you out.  I think that's what I'm feeling, just burnt out.  When I recover, I'm sure I'll eventually return to this story and try to get Volume 2 underway.  I'm just not sure when that will be.  I am currently working on a much shorter project with berserker, and I have two ideas for shorter stories that I want to do after that.  Once those are out of the way, I might return to MJY.  Honestly first time commenters such as yourself inspire me to keep going more than anything else.  Thanks for the comment, I truly do appreciate it.

Oh and I would love to see berserker work the magic with MJY, but if it burns me out I don't wanna burden berserker with that kinda curse.  I'd never turn down that kind of talent being invested into my story, but I gotta be respectful of my friend's time too.  I root for berserker to do whatever berserker wants to do.  That's my position on that.

If it takes 6 years to hear from you again, that's perfectly fine.  Your comment really cheered me up.  Thanks for that, stay safe and healthy friend!

Volume 1:  Chapter 11- Mixed Signals (Part 1)

As suddenly as Kate’s little episode had disturbed the natural order of things inside the bar, it didn’t take very long for people to return to their regular festivities.  Guys and girls resumed drinking at the bar, watching sports on the mounted TV’s and talking with one another about who knows what.  There was a large crowd dancing toward the back of the bar, but Trent and Mia were no longer a part of it.  They’d since migrated to a quiet corner for some privacy and a little intimacy.  Mia had wanted to make-out, and she’d gotten her way for a while.  It was only when an organic lull in the music occurred, that Trent felt safe to momentarily pull his lips off Mia’s and say something that was lingering on his mind.

“Do you think Kate’s okay??”  Trent asked, as Mia’s stunning face looked exceptionally displeased.

“Why are you thinking about her?  Shouldn’t you be a little more concerned with, I don’t know..  me??”  Mia reminded him, as she wrapped her arms tighter around his rock-solid midsection and playfully squeezed him.

“You don’t think you should check on her?”  Trent wondered, as Mia seemed indifferent.

“She’s fine.  Trust me, it’s just her time of the month.”  Mia declared vindictively.   She was offended that Kate was on Trent’s mind at all when she was locking lips with him.  She had to do something about this!  He was her boyfriend god damnit!  She deserved Trent’s exclusive attention tonight, tomorrow, and for the forceable future!  Toward accomplishing that end, Mia leaned razor close to Trent’s face, and whispered seductively in his ear, “How about we go somewhere more private?”

“You finally want me to teach you how to play strip poker?”  Trent smiled, as his imagination pictured the possibilities.  Any concern for he had for Kate drifted from his mind and was replaced by the hopeful image of Mia laying butt-naked in his bed beckoning him to get on top of her.  Mia was signaling to him that she was ready to take their relationship to the next level.  Trent could hardly wait.

“I don’t need a lesson.  I’ll beat you straight up!  Just like mini-golf!  Just like basketball!  Just like..”  Mia competitively began gloating but, before she could continue, Trent interrupted her with a quick and frisky kiss to her lusciously awaiting lips.  She couldn’t help but let out a pleasurable hum at the spontaneity of his masculine action and the feel of his lips pressing lustfully against hers.

“You’re on.”  Trent vowed, as he slowly peeled his lips off Mia’s and ran his hands past her shoulders and down her petit arms.  Mia had such an engaging spark of resilience; it would make having her submit to him in the bedroom all the sweeter.

“Hahaha!  Good.”  Mia deliriously smiled completely unable to contain her childish excitement.  The touch of Trent’s fingers gliding down her figure and resting on her hips was too much.  She was feeling the pull.  The yearning to be lost in his muscular embrace.  Just as her imagination began picturing what Trent would look like fully naked, she awoke to his hands pushing against the semi-inflated beachball she’d stuck under her shirt.

“But ‘this’ doesn’t count as an article of clothing.”  Trent warned, as Mia’s grin glimmered through.  An extra article of clothing could be a boon for their game..

“But I AM wearing it..  So, I think it counts!  You really are afraid I’ll win, huh?!”  Mia jabbed at Trent to see just how much he’d let her get away with.

“Fine, you’ll need all the help you can get anyway.”  Trent relented in an effort to save face, “Let’s go.”

“Your place or my place?”  Mia wondered.  They’d actually never discussed where they would do it.

“My place.”  Trent quickly responded, while he grabbed Mia’s hand and began leading her out of the bar.

“But mine is closer.”  Mia added, subtly hoping for the comfort and privacy of her own bed for their first sexual encounter.

“I kinda prepared for it to be at my place.  I think you won’t regret it.”  Trent assured her, as Mia let go of some of her worries.  She actually felt rather flattered.

“Ooh, you prepared for me?  Well now I’m curious.  Alright, your place it is.”  Mia chirped, as they burst out of the bar in a hurry to be alone together.

As Mia and Trent began their night’s true adventure, Kate was having an adventure of her own.  Walking home feeling tipsy from drinks was one thing, doing it in high heels was another.  And to make matters even worse.  She wasn’t alone..

“Hey, I said I’m sorry.”  Jay repeated in Kate’s ear, as she began crossing yet another street just so she wouldn’t have to walk next to him on her listless journey home.

“I said I don’t caree.  Leavee mee alonee!”  Kate fumed refusing to even make eye contact with the guy who’d so brazenly offended her at the bar.

“My parents raised me not to let a girl walk home alone.”  Jay countered, as he followed Kate across the street.

“Did they also raise you to be a chauvinistic jerk who objectifies women?”  Kate tipsily blurted with a bit of venom mixed into her words.

“No..”  Jay responded sounding disheartened before changing his tone of voice into something less serious, “I picked that up on my own.”

“…”  Kate had no words.  She was not in a mood where she could appreciate Jay’s attempts at levity.  Instead, she stopped in place, turned around and glared at him in a hateful way.  Kate normally felt relatively tall around her friends but looking up at Jay, she felt small.  She was only 5’7 and Jay had to be at least 8 or 9 inches taller than her.  He was wearing a flannel shirt and the sleeves were nearly rolled up to his shoulders.  He was lean for a football player, but his arms were definitely defined with some notable triceps.  His face reflected some remorse for his words earlier, but honestly Kate was distracted by his buzz cut.  Guy’s often had such great hair, she really wondered why so many of them preferred to wear it so short.  Even though her mind had tangentially wandered from her drunken irritations, she was sporting a stage-five resting b*tch face at Jay.  The poor guy didn’t seem to know what to do.

“I was joking.  I’m sorry..”  Jay broke the silence in between a nervous breath.  He was trying to tread lightly.  Kate looked beaming mad, and yet, he found her completely irresistible.  The obvious cleavage was one thing, Kate was a chesty girl and she clearly knew how to flaunt her meaty gifts from god. Then there was the way her turquoise top clung to the soft womanly curves of her figure, it was eye catching.  Her white denim jeans displayed the fullness of her shapely legs and he’d already checked out her plump butt from behind.  Kate was gorgeous.  Jay noticed the buxom blonde looked a little softer than usual, especially around her stomach, but it did nothing to distract him from her truly startling beauty.

“I’m sorry I talked to you like that in the bar.  I was trying to be..  I don’t know.  I was acting like an idiot.  I just wanted an excuse to talk to you.  That’s the truth.”  Jay admitted, as his eyes mirrored the honesty in his voice.

“Could have just said ‘hello.’  Ya’know?”  Kate bemoaned, as she turned around and resumed her walk home.  Jay quickly hurried to walk next to her.

“I’ve tried that before at parties.  We’ve only ever talked for like five minutes before you’ve disappeared with Mia.  It’s kinda hard to hold your attention.”  Jay admitted, as Kate looked suddenly very upset, “What’s going on?  Is everything okay?”

“No.. *sniff* Mia is a conceded jerk.  And..”  Kate audibly barked in a snappy fashion.  Jay had merely mentioned Mia’s name and her emotions had spiked.  She felt like she was going to explode or have a meltdown or something.  She needed to vent.  Right now.  And since Jay was the only one here.. “She constantly likes to make me feel inferior to her in every way.”

“Every way?”  Jay raised his eyebrows, as Kate met his glance and realized he was looking at her boobs.

“Really??  I am trying to give you my undivided attention and you can’t even keep eye contact?  For once.  Once!  I wish a guy would look at me for who I am rather than the size of my boobs.”  Kate raged, as she nearly stumbled.  Jay put his arm around her to keep her up, but she was undeterred by his kindness, “How would you like it if I stared at your dick every time you tried to tell me something..  with my mouth wide open like a slack-jawed idiot?!”

“Honestly, I’d probably like it.”  Jay admitted much to Kate’s shock.

“Ehh!  Why?”  Kate reflexively gawked in disgust.

“What?  You don’t like it when somebody you find attractive stares at you?”  Jay clarified, as Kate caught Jay’s drift.

“Oh-my-god..”  Kate rolled her eyes.  She desperately wished she could go back in time and start her plan to fatten up Mia years earlier.  That way Mia couldn’t have stolen Trent out from under her, and she wouldn’t have to be having this stupid conversation right now.  Looking to retaliate, Kate settled for a quick response that struck right to the point, “you can’t take a hint?  Can you?”

“Hey I’m not gonna apologize for finding you attractive.  What you look like is a part of who you are, it’s not a crime to like the way someone looks.  I wanna get to know you for who you are, but you gotta give me a chance.”  Jay pleaded, as Kate stopped once again.  She was emotionally and physically exhausted.  Her feet were actually throbbing in pain.

“Fine.  Here’s your chance.  I’ll give you till I get home.  But you have to carry my heels.”  Kate declared, as she leaned down and wrestled the heels off of her sore feet.  She thrust them at Jay who sheepishly accepted his new responsibility.

“So..”  Jay muttered, as the duo started walking again.  He adjusted his grip on the shoes, so he’d only have to use one hand to carry both, “What’s your favorite football team?”

“Like professional team?”  Kate absentmindedly asked to clarify.  She was more concerned with her feet.  She should have worn socks tonight.  What was she thinking?

       “Yeah.”  Jay nodded.

“I don’t know.  What’s yours?”  Kate quickly responded.  Jay could tell she hadn’t even thought about it.

“49ers.”  Jay answered just as fast.  Maybe if he shared, Kate would feel more open to the conversation.

“Eww..  Why?”  Kate replied in a judgmental fashion.

“I’m from the bay area.”  Jay reminded her.  He was sure he’d mentioned it to her at a party a few weeks ago.

“Oh.  I guess that explains it.”  Kate nodded.  Her answer was followed by a bit of a long silence between the two as they walked.  Jay was clearly plotting his next topic of conversation more carefully.

“Are you a football fan?”  Jay asked, as Kate’s spirits dropped.  Maybe Jay hadn’t been thinking more carefully.  She didn’t want to talk about stupid football.

“Umm, yeah.  I mean watch the Superbowl every year.”  Kate answered without much interest in her voice.

“Any team you’d wanna see win a Superbowl?”  Jay pressed.  Thinking on it briefly, Kate went with the first team that popped into her head.

“I guess, the Browns.”  Kate relented.

“Eww..  Why?”  Jay mimicked Kate’s response from earlier.

“Cause they’re my dad’s favorite team.”  Kate explained.  It was true.  Her dad had always wanted a son to share his love of football, but all he got was her.  She did her best to pretend she was interested in his team when she was home, but it was all for his sake.

       “Figures.”  Jay scoffed.

“…”  Kate didn’t know how to respond.  Everything about this conversation felt so awkward and forced.  It was making her uncomfortable.  Perhaps it was the alcohol in her system, but she accidentally let slip what was bouncing around in her mind, “Is there anything you think about besides football?  Cause talking about it is boring me.”

“Fine.”  Jay responded sounding more serious.  She might have offended him a bit with her honesty, but he seemed to take it in stride.  They walked along a little farther before Jay decided on a new topic, “Tell me about your first kiss.”

“Why?”  Kate gulped, as the memory made her feel a bit embarrassed.

“You’re the one who wanted a more interesting conversation.”  Jay said with a firm conviction.  He was right, she had asked for this.

“Alright, but you gotta tell me yours first.”  Kate compromised.  She was actually a bit interested in what Jay had to say.

“I was in middle school.  My Dad paid my sister’s friend twenty bucks to kiss me on my birthday.  Her name was Suzy.”  Jay rather quickly explained.  The guy really knew how to craft a story, not!  Kate had to know a little more.

“Did you have a crush on her?  Or was your dad just messing with you?”  Kate wondered, as the two continued walking.

“I don’t know why he did it, but I did have a huge crush on Suzy.  She was a high school senior.”  Jay revealed, as he genuinely seemed a bit flustered by the memory.

“Big tits?”  Kate pressed, as the guilty look on Jay’s face answered her question before he opened his mouth.

“How’d you know?”  Jay frankly asked.

“Haha!  Just a feeling.  I should totally be a psychologist.”  Kate laughed to herself, “Ha!  You must have felt like a big shot.”

“In hindsight, I should have felt better about it, but in the moment, I was really embarrassed.  I didn’t know what to do.”  Jay revealed, as Kate found his response quite interesting.  It sounded like Jay’s dad was probably where his manners towards women came from.  Maybe it wasn’t all his fault that he’d offended her.  If he didn’t know any better..  What’s the saying?  Boy’s grow up to become their fathers and girl’s grow up to become their..

       “Huh.”  Kate muttered to herself.

       “What is it?”  Jay asked.

“Nothing.”  Kate mumbled, “I liked your story.”

“Come on, now you tell me yours.”  Jay pressed.  There was an excitement in his voice.

“No.”  Kate shook her head.  She didn’t feel like talking about it right now.

       “Please.”  Jay insisted.

“No, it’s too embarrassing.”  Kate firmly declared, as she stomped a few steps ahead of Jay only for him to catch up with her a moment later.

“More embarrassing than mine?”  Jay countered.

“Your story was charming, mine’s just embarrassing.”  Kate responded resolutely.

“You realize when getting to know someone you occasionally have to share something about yourself?”  Jay insisted, as Kate rolled her eyes.  He wasn’t trying to me be mean, but it was a little unfair for her not to share after he’d just done it.

“Fine.  But when you say first kiss..  do you mean.. like..”  Kate hesitantly began to ask.

“First kiss that wasn’t from your parents or grandparents.”  Jay clarified before Kate finished her thought.

“Fine.  But you promise not to tell anyone?”  Kate inquired.  What was she doing?  She didn’t want to tell this story!  Was this the alcohol in her blood again?

       “I promise.”  Jay assured her.

“My first kiss..  was during my freshman year of high school.. with my friend Amelia.”  Kate reluctantly explained feeling dreadfully embarrassed.  Why did she say that??  She could have just made something up!  What was she thinking??

       “Context??”  Jay nearly coughed.

“Well it was the night of the winter formal.. We’d both been asked by sophomores..  Amelia’s mom had finished helping us with our dresses and makeup..  We were talking about it..  neither of us had any experience with kissing.. and we wanted to be prepared just in case..”  Kate revealed, as pangs of embarrassment pulsated through her body with every loud beat of her heart.

“Who suggested it?”  Jay asked without a judgmental tone in his voice.  He could tell Kate was flustered.

“*Sigh*…”  Kate paused, as she took a hesitant breath, “It was my idea.”

“Haha, nice.”  Jay nodded trying to picture it.  He had so many more questions, but he didn’t want to offend Kate.

“What’s that stupid smile for?”  Kate tilted her head in a combatively curious manner.

“Nothing, it’s cool.”  Jay said composing himself.  He didn’t realize he had been smiling.

“This is why I don’t share things.  You’re just going to laugh at me.”  Kate groaned feeling dejected.

“I’m not laughing at you.  I was gonna ask you a question, but then I remembered I’m trying not to be an idiot.”  Jay explained himself, as Kate didn’t seem impressed.

“What was the question?”  Kate demanded.  She wanted to know.

“No, it was stupid.”  Jay resisted.

“No, tell me.  I’ll judge if it was stupid.”  Kate ordered with more authority in her voice.

“I wanted to know if it was a good kiss.”  Jay continued, “I was gonna ask if you ‘liked it.’”

“For the record, that IS a stupid question.”  Kate crossed her arms, as she continued walking.  Wait..  Had she liked it?  She remembered that night very well.  She remembered dinner.  She remembered dressing up.   Watching Amelia squeeze into that tight dress..

“Well..  Did you like it?”  Jay broke Kate’s trance, as he actually asked her the question he’d originally shied away from.  Kate wanted to refuse his question, but something in her wasn’t holding back.

“Umm.  It really wasn’t bad.”  Kate admitted.  She was a little shocked all this was coming out of her.  It was embarrassing, but it felt.. good to talk about it.

“Cool.”  Jay nodded not trying to press the issue further or sound like a jackass.   He smiled at Kate and she smiled back at him, before breaking eye contact.

Kate’s eyes blinked.  She did a double take of her surroundings.  They’d walked right past her house!

“My house is actually that one over there.”  Kate pointed two houses back.  How the heck had she missed her own house??

“Oh, you could have told me that.  I’m not trying to hold you hostage with this conversation.”  Jay kindly explained.  Kate was just happy he thought she’d walked by it on purpose.  Walking over to the house’s deck, Kate felt a ‘thank you’ was in order.

“Thanks for walking me home, and thanks for carrying my shoes.  My feet are killing me.”  Kate expressed, as she extended her hands and Jay gave her back the high heeled shoes, she’d been complaining about. Her anger had largely subsided thanks to Jay’s company and she was actually a bit sad the cordial conversation they’d been sharing was gonna end.

“Why do you wear heels if they hurt your feet so much?”  Jay frankly asked, as they walked up to the front door.

“That’s such a guy thing to say.”  Kate rolled her eyes, as a softer relaxed expression emulated from her face.  She didn’t mean to come off sounding ungrateful.

“Well I am a guy.”  Jay admitted in a cheerful tone.  Kate could tell he was clueless.  Normally she wouldn’t bother getting into such things, but she felt he’d earned an explanation.

“Heels make you look taller, they make your legs look slimmer..  And personally, they make me feel attractive.”  Kate explained in an honest fashion.

“I think you’re just as attractive without them on.”  Jay smoothly spoke, paying Kate an obvious complement, as she snickered a little in response.

“You’d probably think I was more attractive without anything on, haha!”  Kate playfully hinted, as her hand rushed to her mouth to smother her drunken laughter.  She’d felt a flutter in the pit of her stomach.  Excitement.  That’s what she’d felt.  Why had she felt that?  Jay wasn’t exciting.  He was handsome in a freaky arrogant lanky kind of way, but not.. exciting..  Wait, did she find him attractive??

“You’re not wrong.”  Jay shrugged in a confident tone, as Kate looked at him with new eyes.  She’d been seeing him as the guy Mia had tried to pawn off on her to steal Trent, but in his own right, Jay was kinda cute.  And the way he was looking at her right now..

“I..  umm..”  Kate stammered, as she caught the ‘want’ in Jay’s eyes.  He was sending her signals.  She didn’t want to lead him on, so she quickly tried to clarify, “I wasn’t flirting.  I’m just pretty tipsy.”

“That’s fine.”  Jay nodded not skipping a beat and not seeming offended.

“I just don’t want to give you any mixed signals.”  Kate elaborated, as her posture appeared very open, but her face looked confused.

“I’m not getting mixed signals.”  Jay responded, although he was definitely getting some mixed signals.  Everything about Kate’s body language and the way she was responding to him said that she was interested in him.

“Good, because I appreciate you walking me home and all..  I’m sorry I yelled at you earlier.”  Kate droned, as her mind wandered.  Something felt good about this..  this guy.. this conversation..  But she was pushing him away.  She felt uncomfortable.  Why did she feel uncomfortable?  Jay clearly liked her, right?  Mia had said she thought Jay was interested in her..  Mia would probably be happy if Kate f*cked Jay right her and now.  That f*cking b*tch probably arranged this whole thing!  Trent and Jay could both be in on it!  F*ck her!  Why was Mia trying to play matchmaker?  What did Mia know about what she wanted!?  She wanted Trent and Mia had freaking stolen him!  The last thing Kate wanted to do right now was give Mia what she wanted..

Wait..  Was that why..  Was she was trying to give Jay the cold shoulder?  Because she was afraid of proving Mia right?  Christ.  That WAS it wasn’t it?  Sh*t!  Mia wasn’t even here and yet Kate felt she was under her complete control.  Well, she wasn’t about to let Mia control her life anymore.  If she had to put up with an annoying ‘I told you so’ from miss perfect, then so be it.  Kate couldn’t deny she was feeling something for Jay.  Maybe it was just lust since the last time she’d had sex had been over the summer, but maybe it could be something more..  Or maybe nothing at all..  She’d been drinking after all..  but either way, it was her choice to find out what she was feeling.  Mia wasn’t going to be a factor in her decisions anymore.  She’d be honest to Jay from now on, “You’re not a bad guy.”

“I’m sorry I acted like an idiot at the bar.  And for anything stupid I might have said since then.”  Jay responded in a sincere fashion.

“Well, I forgive you.”  Kate reiterated not knowing how else to express what was inside of her.

       “Thank you.”  Jay nodded awkwardly.

“You’re welcome.”  Kate nodded as well.  Her mind had gone blank.  F*ck!  What was she going to say?

“…”   Jay’s eyes looked at the closed front door.

“…”  Kate’s eyes followed his before the awkwardness of the silent moment hit her.

“Well I guess I better get going.”  Jay broke the silence as he took a small step toward the steps of the porch.

“Where are you going?”  Kate asked, closing the distance between her and Jay with an unsure step.

“Umm, I’m not sure.  It’s a little early to call it a night and I’m not sure I wanna go back to the bar.”  Jay admitted, as Kate’s head tilted to the side.

“You could..”  Kate paused, while she quickly broke eye contact and nervously looked toward the ground as she said, “I mean, if you want, you could come inside.  Keep the conversation going.  You know.”

“Got anything to drink?”  Jay asked, as Kate’s eyes rose upward with some relief.

“Plenty.”  Kate smiled, as she pulled out her key.

“Then sure.”  Jay mirrored Kate’s smile, as she led him inside.

Wow, very informative.  Thank you.  I got the impression the DM scene was very quite, luckily nobody's ever been disrespectful to me or my stories over there.

They are not all outwardly disrespectful (quite the contrary) but neither as prompt to indulge their leisure into any prose neither.

You might also likely note the same exact minority of loudmouths poking on your nerves whenever they got the occassion, overtime...

Volume 1:  Chapter 12- Mixed Signals (Part 2)

The anticipation had been palpable for Mia during the young couple’s trek across the streets of Adamsville and past the University’s grounds.  Trent lived in an upper classman housing apartment complex that was officially called ‘the Commons’ and affectionately embraced by the campus community as the best ‘on campus’ housing.  While there were RAs in a few of the buildings, they rarely enforced any of the university’s policies on the weekends.  It was a great place to let loose and party, but it lacked some of the glamor and the novelty of the various off-campus sport houses, frats and sororities.

However, Mia hadn’t gone here to party.  She was here for Trent.  For that purpose, Trent’s apartment was up to the challenge.  When they arrived, his roommates were nowhere to be found.  The two were finally alone together.  Since the night was still young, they didn’t feel any need to rush things.  Trent grabbed a deck of cards, offered Mia a drink, which she surprisingly declined, and the two let their little game commence..

Fifteen minutes later, the first casualty of the night, Mia’s red and black flannel, lay on the carpet of Trent’s bedroom by his closed door.  Not far from Mia’s shirt lay Trent’s.  It had been Mia’s retaliation for losing the first hand.  Perhaps being shirtless had caused Trent to take the game more seriously, but Mia ended up losing the next two hands.  The tank top thrown to the side of the room that was now hanging on the side of Trent’s bookshelf, and the beachball/bandeau combo loosely clumped together at the foot of Trent’s bed were testaments to her bad luck.

With Trent shirtless and Mia in nothing but her bra up top, Trent turned his attention to her tight looking jeans.  Mia’s athletic legs could really fill out the fabric, but he wanted to see her luscious lower body up close and personal.  Unfortunately, Mia beat him too it with some lucky cards.   Trent’s pants were tossed into the far corner of the room.  Moments later, after the next hand, Mia’s jeans joined them.  Effectively in nothing but their underwear, they unspokenly robbed each other of their respective socks over the next few plays.  The score stood with Mia in the lead wearing her bra and panties, and Trent trailing behind in his boxers.

“You wanna keep playing?”  Trent asked, as Mia reached for his beer.  She’d refused a drink when they’d gotten here, but she seemed totally comfortable drinking the majority of the one he’d gotten for himself.

“Of course!  I’m winning!”  Mia gloated, as she gulped down a large swig of Trent’s beer and wiped her mouth before continuing, “Why?  You don’t wanna play anymore?  Are you being a sore loser again?”

“No, for some reason..”  Trent began, while his eyes strayed from Mia’s gorgeous face to her perky b-cup breasts, her trim waist, and finally to her panties, “I just don’t think I’m in the mood for cards anymore.”

“What are you in the mood for?”  Mia innocently asked, as she did her best to play dumb.

“You know.”  Trent tilted his head in an impatient fashion.

“Hmmm!  Is somebody horny??”  Mia questioned, as she put Trent’s beer on his nightstand, crawled over the cards toward Trent, and then tugged his arm toward her until he lay next to her in bed.

“I’d say it’s obvious.”  Trent admitted, as his hands both wandered behind Mia’s body.  They made contact with the back of her thighs, playfully pressed against her hamstrings until they slowly and firmly glided their way up to her butt.  Trent’s hands were greeted to quite a different sensation in the transition.  Mia’s legs felt tight and firm like rocks, and in fairness, the lower portion of Mia’s booty felt just as firmly muscled, but as his hands reached the zenith of Mia’s glutes, what he squeezed passionately felt much meatier and softer.  From the way Mia’s mouth opened to release a pleasurable moan of gratitude, he could tell she enjoyed his touch.  Her almond-brown eyes remained locked on his own with an obvious excitement that Trent’s eyes clearly matched.  Leading her eyes downward with his own, Trent wanted Mia to see a more tangible manifestation of his arousal.  Her eyes widened and a sly smile escaped from her face, as she observed the ostentatious bulge in Trent’s boxers.

“Is ‘this?’ …” Mia seductively teased, while her hand wandered underneath the waistband of Trent’s boxers and ‘investigated’ the bulge she’d spotted, “..for me?”

“No, it’s for the queen of hearts, but you’re a close second.”  Trent playfully responded, as he felt Mia’s delicate hand firmly stroke his show of masculine bravado.

“Shut up, it’s for me!”  Mia snobbishly declared, as she sped up the motion of her hand, “You feel so haard.  You must really want me.  Am I that attractive to you?”

“You are one of a kind.”  Trent smoothly breathed into her ear.  The feel of his breath against her skin sent shivers down her spine.  She couldn’t help herself anymore, she withdrew her hand from Trent’s boxers and gracefully rolled on top of him.  Before Trent could react, her lips were pressing against his.

“Mhh!”  Mia firmly kissed him with the primal desire pulsing through her body.  She could feel Trent’s arms wrapping around her in a warm embrace.  It felt sooo gooood!

*Clip!*

“Ahh!”  Mia gasp in surprise, as she felt her bra strap suddenly loosen.  Leaning upward slightly, Mia witnessed Trent grab the straps around her shoulders and tug them down her arms.  She maneuvered her arms to help Trent get the garment off, but she had been caught off guard by how quickly Trent had unhooked her bra.  She hadn’t even felt him trying.  This was different.  She’d never been with a guy who didn’t need at least a little help removing her bra..

Recovering from her nerves, Mia pushed herself upward into a cowgirl position.  Her panties were rubbing up against Trent’s boxers in just the right way so she could feel his excitement.  Mhh, his ‘excitement’ was turning her on..  Feeling naughty, Mia arched her back and cupped her firm breasts in a showy fashion, “Like what you see?”

“I do.”  Trent grunted, as his strong arms grabbed Mia by her sides and tugged her back in for a sinisterly seductive kiss.  With Mia against his chest, Trent rolled on top of her without skipping a beat.

“Mhh!”  Mia purred, as she ran her hands through Trent’s short hair and used her tongue to tickle his lower lip.  In response, Trent’s hands grabbed the sides of Mia’s panties and immediately began tugging them downward.

“Wait!”  Mia gasped, as her hands leapt to hold her panties in place.  Trent was moving much faster than she was used too.  He really seemed to know what he was doing.  She wanted this to happen, but she didn’t like feeling like they were rushing.

“Before we do this..  I’m just curious.  How many girl’s have you..  umm..  What’s your number?”  Mia interjected, as Trent’s initial annoyance seemed to dissipate through the process of pondering Mia’s question.

       “Just one.”  Trent answered.

“Your high school girlfriend?”  Mia wondered, as Trent nodded.

“Yeah.” Trent replied.  He didn’t sound impatient, but it didn’t seem like he wanted to talk about this.

“Am I more attractive than her?”  Mia continued her inquiry.  She knew the answer, but she needed to hear it from Trent’s mouth.

“At her best?  For sure.  Now?  You’re 1000 times more attractive than her.”  Trent assured Mia.  Although his response had raised almost more questions than it had answered.  Seeing Mia’s curiosity, Trent elaborated, “She really let herself go.”

“Oh.  Well..  Good answer.”  Mia affirmed, as she wrapped her arms around Trent’s neck and tried to pull him in for a kiss.  Despite her effort, she couldn’t budge him.

“Why do you ask?”  Trent needed to know.  Mia had stopped him out of nowhere.  He just wanted some assurance she still wanted to do this.

“I just wanted to know how many girls I was competing with.”  Mia admitted in a very innocent manner.

“What?  You’re the only person I’m interested in.”  Trent guaranteed to her.

“Yeah, I know that.  But, I wanna be the BEST you’ve ever had.”  Mia emphasized, as she finally succeeded in pulling Trent in close enough to whisper the last part of it in his ear, “By a long shot.”

“You are so sexy when you talk like that.”  Trent excitedly cooed right back at Mia.

“Mhh?  Talk like what?  Hmhm!”  Mia teased, as she locked-lips with Trent for a lustful moment.

*Mhhh!*

However, just when it seemed things were back on track, Trent pulled away, “So, what about you?  What’s your number?”

“You are not supposed to ask a lady that.”  Mia complained.  Things were just getting good.  Trent was such a great kisser!  She couldn’t take her eyes off his lips, even as he continued talking.

“I just wanna know how many guys I’m competing against.  I wanna be the best you’ve ever had too.”  Trent echoed Mia’s sentiment, although it lacked the same sincerity.

       “Just one.”  Mia quickly responded.

       “Tony Dawson?”  Trent wondered.

“No!!  My boyfriend when I was in high school!”  Mia stoutly denied.  Her voice’s pitch seemed to elevate with her next sentence, “Who told you I was with Tony Dawson?!”

“Nobody in particular.  I heard a rumor from freshman year, which if it is true..  It’s seriously not a problem for me.  In fact I’d be really..”  Trent tried to elaborate, but Mia put her hand on his chest and talked over him.

“Tony was my RA.  And after I rushed Eta Lambda Pi, I learned he was my Big’s boyfriend.  That’s all he was to me, my RA and my friend’s boyfriend.  That’s it.  I swear.”  Mia clarified, as Trent gave her a doubtful look.  She needed to make him understand this, “I don’t know what you heard, but I never had sex with Tony Dawson!”

“Actually the rumor was that you..”  Trent began to specify, but Mia wouldn’t let Trent say it.

“I did not give Tony Dawson a blowjob to avoid getting written up!  It’s a hurtful f*cking rumor and..”  Mia stuttered.  Trent didn’t think she was a slut, did he? “and..  Nobody knows the whole story.”

“Even if it were true, I really wouldn’t care.  It’s not a problem for me.”  Trent tried to assure her.  However, to Mia’s ears, it sounded like he didn’t believe her.

“It’s not true.”  Mia pouted, “I’m not a slut.”

“I know.  I’m just saying that..  I think you’re perfect.  And nothing is gonna change that.”  Trent confidently voiced to Mia.  She looked upset.  If they were going to have sex tonight, he needed a happy girlfriend.  He needed to calm her down.  Sounding sensitive, Trent continued, “So, what really happened?”

“It was during the end of Fall semester.  I got sick from drinking..  And I threw up a couple times..  I don’t know how I got back to the dorm..  Tony found me on the floor of the hallway and took me to his room to take care of me.  I threw up all night and he held the trash can.  It would have been my fourth write-up that year.  Miss Hochburg would have had me expelled.  He didn’t write me up because he felt sorry for me.  The fact that he was my Big’s boyfriend was probably why I got exempt from the rules unlike everybody else.”  Mia concluded.  She felt better telling Trent all that.  He looked like he believed her now.

“So, where did the rumor’s start?”  Trent inquired.

“People were jealous I got special treatment.  I don’t know.  I didn’t start the rumors.  I wish I knew who did.”  Mia pouted, as she felt a bit embarrassed.  It wasn’t her fault what people said about her.

“I wish I knew too.  I’d beat’em up for you.”  Trent vowed, as Mia sensed the playful tone of his voice.

“Oh?  You would?”  Mia widely smiled, as she tugged her handsome boy closer for a quick kiss, “My hero!  Mmmhhh!”

“Wait, let me play some music.”  Trent paused, as he began to get off her.  They’d lost the momentum they’d had from strip poker anyway.  Maybe some music would get the mood right again.

“You don’t have to.”  Mia replied, as Trent pushed himself off Mia and stood up next to the bed.

“I want this to be special.”  Trent admitted.

“It’s with you.  That’s special enough.”  Mia cooed, as she hid her rekindled excitement with a confidently seductive smile. “But while you’re up, would you mind doing me a favor?  Lose the boxers buster.”

“Ha, no problem.”  Trent chuckled in an amused fashion.  With a grin on his face, he removed his boxers.  Mia’s eyes gave him the indication she was impressed with what she saw, so he quickly resumed his position on top of her.  So much for music.

“Mhh!”  Mia hummed, as she welcomed another kiss from Trent.  This one lingered.  His firm lips were tantalizingly driving her mad with lust.  She almost let out a moan in her excitement, but something else caught her attention.  Trent was slightly readjusting himself on top of her and, as his hips thrusted slightly, she felt something poke her ‘down there.’    She hadn’t expected it, but it was rubbing her in just the right place to cause an involuntary, “AhhhAaah!”

“You okay?”  Trent stopped looking worried from Mia’s sudden spasm.

“Yes!”  Mia yelped with joy, as she pulled in Trent for another kiss.  His hips thrusted forward again.  He was pressing against her panties so much she could practically feel him inside her already.  Her heart was beating fast now, she could hear herself breathing faster.  While they passionately kissed, she could feel Trent’s hands going back to remove her panties.

“Wait!”  Mia halted him.  Trent looked rather annoyed at this momentary interruption, but Mia wasn’t deterred, “I want you to watch me take them off.”

“Alright.”  Trent relented, as he let Mia out from under him.  She stood next to his bed, topless, looking right into his eyes and sliding her hands down from her perky breasts to the waistline of her panties.  Tilting her hips slightly to the left and right whenever she’d slowly tug down her panties, Mia smiled confidently as she slowly turned her back to Trent and gave him a full view of her behind.  She really had a small waist compared to the girth in her butt, but from behind Trent wasn’t giving Mia’s waist that much attention.

Trent was at a loss for words, this woman had the epitome of a perfect full butt.  It was sexy, voluptuous, and certainly squeezable.  And to top it all off, Mia clearly knew it.  He watched as she seductively removed her panties, her pretty face peeking at him from over the side of her shoulder.  She seemed to be swaying side to side in slow motion as the panties slowly made their way tightly down Mia’s thick behind.  Once that mountain had been crossed, the panties delicately fell to Mia’s feet.  Then Mia turned around, giving him a full-frontal view of her fully naked perfection.

“My eyes are up here, thank you very much.”  Mia teased, as Trent’s eyes reluctantly leered back to her face.

“You are so sexy.”  Trent sighed.  He wasn’t just pleased with the way Mia looked.  She always looked lean, athletic and very pretty.  It was apparent Mia must have just shaved.  It just felt nice to be with someone who put effort into pleasing him.

“You’re not so bad yourself.”  Mia winked, as Trent suddenly grabbed her arm and pulled her on top of him.  “Wait!”

“For f*cks sake!  What is it?  Do you wanna have sex or not?”  Trent roared feeling irritated Mia kept delaying this.

“Of course, I want to!  I just wanna know why you haven’t put on a condom yet?”  Mia firmly countered, as Trent rolled his eyes.  His ex-girlfriend preferred it without a condom.

“Aren’t you on birth control?”  Trent asked in his defense.

“Yeah, but you’re still wearing a condom if this is happening.”  Mia loudly communicated.  Trent seemed a bit insulted, but tough sh*t.  She didn’t want to get pregnant and he was taking too long to answer.  She decided to take matters into her own hands, “I’ll get one for you, where do you keep them?”

“Under the sink in the bathroom.”  Trent explained, as Mia hurried off of him before rushing to the bathroom.  Once Mia had left the room, Trent got up from bed.  He’d been a bit annoyed by Mia’s demands, but it was by no means a deal breaker.  On the bright side, he’d get a chance to get things ready.  He started by lighting three candles he’d bought for the occasion and quickly placed them around the room.  After he shut off the lights, he moved to his bookshelf and hit a button on an innocent looking see-no-evil/hear-no-evil/speak-no evil monkey decoration.  Trent double checked to make sure everything was in working order, before messing with his speakers.

“What are you doing?”  Mia called to him as she re-entered the room and was pleased by what she saw.  With a quick click, some 90s music began filling his room.

“Getting some music going and lighting candles.  Is that okay?”  Trent asked in an innocent voice.

“Perfect.”  Mia smiled, as she tossed Trent a condom.

“Anything else you need before we do this?  Want me to fan you and feed you grapes or something?”  Trent inquired, as he ripped open the condom packet and rolled it into position.

“Maybe after.”  Mia grinned in a spoiled fashion, as she walked into Trent’s arms and placed her head on his bare chest.

“Haha,” Trent laughed, as Mia looked up at him with a mischievous look in her almond-brown eyes.

“Well come on now, don’t keep a girl waiting.  I don’t have all night.”  Mia teased, as Trent picked her up and pounced into bed with her!

Across town, while Mia and Trent consummated their relationship for the first time, Kate and Jay spent the night furthering their conversation with one another.  They’d each drank about three more beers since Kate welcomed him into the kitchen.  It was clear from the disheveled state of the sink that an improvised meal had occurred between the two.  Jay was currently leaning against the countertop, and Kate was in a seat at the table nibbling on what remained of the macaroni and cheese she’d just made for the two of them to snack on.  While they’d both grown a bit more relaxed with each other, Jay could tell that Kate was rather reluctant to share her personal opinions with him, unless that opinion was about her housemate being a deceitful controlling b*tch.  Seeing that Mia was the topic Kate seemed most willing to let him in on, he decided to pry a bit on the subject.

“You keep saying Mia’s such a jerk to you?  What’s going on?”  Jay finally voice his questions.  No more tip-toeing around it.

“Basically, Mia’s just..  She’s..  umm..”  Kate hesitated.  Was it hard to explain?  No.  There was just a lot to explain.  Whatever, Kate was two beers past censoring herself anyway, “For starters, everything has to be her way, or else.  She’s a control freak.  Manipulative.  She’s a narcissistic brat who is only happy when everybody’s attention is on her.”

“Haha, tell me how you feel why don’t ya.”  Jay joked, but Kate clearly missed the cue in his voice because of her drunken stupor.

“She makes me feel invisible.  Like I don’t matter.”  Kate seriously vented, “She’s pretty.  She’s wealthy.  She’s smart.  She has everything, but she always wants more.  She wants what I have.  If I want the room with a balcony, she takes it.  If I like a guy, she takes him.  But she doesn’t just take things from me, we compete for them.  Little athletic challenges and stuff.  She is big on pretending our challenges are fair, like I have a chance, but the truth is, I don’t have a chance.  She’s better than me at everything.  And you know what?  She wants me to know it.  Winning isn’t enough for her, she likes it when I lose to her.”

“I can see how that would get on your nerves.”  Jay answered in a thoughtful fashion.  He had to take this seriously.  It clearly meant a lot to Kate no matter how silly it sounded.

“Yeah it does.  I’d love to make her know what it feels like.  You know?  Give her a taste of her own medicine.  Well..  More than a taste.  I feel like a taste is a tea spoon.  I wanna feed her a cement truck’s worth of her own medicine.  See how pretty she looks after that!  Haha, she’d be the size of a house!  This house!  Oh, I’d love to see that!  She’d never beat me in anything again!”  Kate beamed with an energy Jay hadn’t seen from her all night.  But it didn’t last long.  Her energy quickly soured, her joyful tone turned to lamenting, “But that’s never gonna happen!  Because I can’t beat her no matter how hard I try!”

“Of course, you can’t beat her.”  Jay said, as he watched Kate shove a big forkful of mac and cheese into her mouth to cope with the stress of it all.  The waistband of her jeans was digging into her tummy.  It was annoying her.  She looked disgruntled.  Jay mistook her expression as a response to what he just said, so he elaborated, “You’re playing her game.  You are playing by her rules.  You are making it harder on yourself than it needs to be.”

“Am I??  We run a race, she’s faster.  We play a game, she’s smarter.  We make a bet, she’s luckier.  Or she cheats.  She’d do anything to beat me.”  Kate vented, as she successfully unbuttoned her jeans and watched her belly inflate to accommodate the open space.  She was so freaking bloated, how long had she had a little pot belly??  It didn’t matter, it was the perfect example.  Wavering a bit, as she stood up, Kate lifted up her shirt just enough to show off her engorged tummy to Jay, “Ha!  Look at this!  I have another one.  She eats tons of junk food.  Hardly gains a pound.  I eat a bit of junk food.  My stomach blows up like a balloon retaining water.  She’s just genetically better.”

“If you really believe that, no wonder you can’t beat her at anything.”  Jay countered, as he looked at Kate’s gut.  She looked..  a little pudgy.  But she still looked good.  Real good.  At least to his eyes.

“What do you mean?”  Kate asked looking dumbfounded, while she remained standing.

“The strongest muscle in the human body is your mind.  It’s not about being smarter or faster or stronger.  It’s about having the will to overcome whatever is in your way.  Determination is real strength.  There is no such thing as a perfect person, everyone has strengths and weaknesses.  In a competition, it always comes down to who wants it more.  Who is willing to suffer more for the sake of victory?  If you think somebody is better than you, you’ll never beat them.”  Jay concluded, as Kate seemed rather impressed.

“Haha, since when did you start making sense?”  Kate laughed, “You didn’t hear all this in a locker room?  Did you?”

“I’ve learned a lot about life from playing football.  But the same lessons apply here.  You gotta know what your opponent wants, so you can defend against them.  Make them make mistakes.  Then make them pay for those mistakes.”  Jay explained, “Then you gotta analyze your opponent, identify their weaknesses and exploit them with your strengths.”

“Unfortunately, Mia doesn’t have any weaknesses.”  Kate countered, “She’s perfect.”

“Nobody’s perfect.  Why does she want to be the center of attention?  Why is she so competitive with you?”  Jay asked.

       “Because she’s a b*tch.”  Kate simply responded.

“She’s probably insecure about something.  She wants validation.  Why else would she care so much about having your attention?  Maybe, she needs it to make herself feel better.”  Jay deduced, “Maybe she’s lonely.  Whatever it is, don’t give her what she wants.  Don’t give her the attention she craves.  Find out what she’s insecure about.  Play to your strengths and her weaknesses.  Then you’ll win for sure.”

“I like what you are saying, but it’s not that easy.  Even if she is insecure about something, that doesn’t mean she has any weaknesses.  She’s crazy motivated.  It’s impossible to change her mind when she sets it on something.  She’s never satisfied with anything less than 100% of what she wants.”

“That may be a strength, but it also sounds like a weakness to me.”  Jay pointed out, “Maybe you don’t have to beat her straight out to win.  If you keep her from getting that 100% of what she wants, it sounds to me like that’s a win for you.  You don’t have to play by her definition of victory.”

“Huh..  That’s..  I like that.  Thank you.”  Kate cheerfully grinned.  What an interesting perspective.  Maybe she’d been coming about this squabble with Mia all wrong.  Jay actually gave her a lot to thing about regarding her strategy.  Maybe there was more to him than met the eye after all.  As Kate thought about it, she caught Jay looking at her.  He wasn’t looking at her chest for once.  What was he looking at?  He was looking lower..  Oh Gawd..  Kate’s mind suddenly made her aware that she’d never rolled her shirt back down over her soft belly.  Jay was looking right at it!  Laughing at herself, and covering up her bloated midsection, Kate asked, “Haha, what are we doing?”

“Talking?”  Jay frankly answered, as he watched the beautiful girl in front of him blush.

“I think I drank too muchh..”  Kate admitted, as she crossed her legs where she stood, and looked into Jay’s eyes longingly.

“Me too.”  Jay agreed, as he was picking up signals from Kate again.

“I wanna go to bed.”  Kate sighed, as she tilted her head to the hallway.

“I guess I’ll head out then.”  Jay said, as he leaned off the counter and stood upright.

“Can you help me get upstairs before you go?  I’m seriously worried I might stumble.”  Kate sheepishly admitted.

“Of course.”  Jay warmly replied, as he tried to be a gentleman.

As the two walked out of the kitchen, Jay noticed the button on Kate’s jeans was already unbuttoned.  Even though the reason was likely Kate’s bloated midsection, something about the look of it felt suggestive.  Did Kate want him to notice?  He didn’t say anything about it, it was still clear Kate had been through a rough night.  They didn’t really talk much as he helped her up the steps.  She really leaned a lot of her weight on him during the process of it all.  Jay couldn’t decide if Kate was just that drunk or she wanted an excuse to wrap her hands around him.  Once they got to her room, she plopped into bed with a sigh of relief.  Jay took that as a sign he should leave.

“Wait, where are you going?”  Kate pouted, as Jay stopped at her bedroom door.

      “Home?”  Jay responded honestly.

“Come warm the covers with me.  Then you can go.”  Kate begged, him as she made a spot for him next to her.

“…”  Jay didn’t know how to respond.  Kate was clearly drunk.  He wasn’t sure if her intensions were innocent or something distinctly less so.  He didn’t want to overstep his bounds either way.  They’d made such good progress tonight and..

“Come on, I’m cold!  I’m not flirting.  I’m just cold!”  Kate voiced in an authoritative manner to coax him into bed with her.

“Okay.”  Jay relented, as he joined her.  Kate’s bed was very soft.  She definitely had an expensive mattress pad.  Once he got in next to her, she tossed the covers over him and quickly nestled closer to him with an audible shiver.

“Hey Jay?”  Kate whispered.  Her eyes were mere inches from his own.  There was something in those eyes.

“Yeah, Kate?”  Jay answered, as he wrapped his hands around Kate’s backside and embraced her a bit more closely.

       “I was flirting.”

Volume 1:  Chapter 13- Queen of the Hill

“Mia.”  A loud voice echoed, piercing the sorority princess’s peaceful slumber.

“Mhh.. Noo..”  Mia sleepily pleaded, as if she was arguing with her mother, “Fivee more minutesss..”

“Wake up.”  Trent impatiently burst, as he cast aside the shades from his bedroom window and let the sun strike his sleeping girlfriend.

“Nooooo..  I have a headache..”  Mia groggily wined, as her captivating body recoiled underneath the blanket that she’d so warmly enveloped herself within.  A second more and she quickly thrust the covers over her face to shield her eyes from the blinding light.  As her senses returned to her, the first thing she felt was annoyance.  She’d only officially been dating Trent for three weeks and already the cute ‘good morning’ rituals had ceased.  Was a gentle kiss too much to ask for?

“Stop being lazy.  It’s almost noon.  Come on.”  Trent urged her, while he tugged at the covers Mia was clutching.

“What?!  Noon??”  Mia yelped, as she rose upward from her reclined position.  She was quick to realize she wasn’t wearing a comfy pajama shirt, or anything for that matter, so she seamlessly wrapped herself with the covers as she sat upward.

“Yeah, bedhead.  I already got back from the gym.”  Trent teased, as one of Mia’s hands leapt to investigate the status of her long jet-black hair.  From what she could feel Trent wasn’t kidding.  Her hair felt like a complete mess.  Had she not brushed it before bed?  Wait..  Did she still have makeup on?  She needed a mirror.  She probably looked like such a mess.  Was that why Trent was getting on her case?  Looking at him with curiosity, Mia got her answer once he opened his handsome mouth again, “You wanna shower or what?”

“Are you saying I smell?”  Mia piped back fiercely, as she took offence to Trent’s implied suggestion.

“I didn’t say you smelled bad, but you do smell like beer.”  Trent replied, while he sought to downplay Mia’s allegation against him.

“I thought I told you I wanted to go to the gym with you this morning.”  Mia sharply spoke, as she redirected her irritated feelings without having to acknowledge Trent’s half-hearted response to the accusation about her body odor.

“You say that every morning.”  Trent sighed.  He’d grown bored of Mia’s continued complaints.  He felt like he was dating two people.  An obedient and lustfully attractive social butterfly by night and a high-maintenance, spoiled brat by day.  If only Mia always behaved the way she did after a few drinks.  Then she’d really be the perfect girlfriend rather than just looking the part.

“Well, I’d like to go to the gym with you in the mornings!”  Mia growled, as her vision finally adjusted to the bright sunlight enveloping the room and she laid a mean glare on Trent.

“Then you shouldn’t kick me when I try to wake you up.”  Trent countered, as Mia’s face grimiest.  He was referring back to when he’d woken up next to her in bed and tried in vain to rouse her.  By the look of Mia’s face, he guessed that she remembered it now.

“I did not kick you!”  Mia protested, as she tossed a pillow at Trent without a second thought.

“Well it sure as hell wasn’t a love tap!”  Trent snapped, as he caught the pillow Mia had thrown at him and tossed it gently onto the foot of the bed, “Gosh you can get so grouchy in the morning.  Is it your time of the month?”

“No.”  Mia stoutly declared, as her brain took stock of her elevated heartrate..  Her head was pounding.  Her stomach not only felt bloated from all the beer she’d drank last night; it was rumbling with hunger.  Her body felt exhausted despite the fact that she must have gotten at least 8 hours of sleep..  There was only one logical conclusion to explain why she was in such a foul mood.  Scratching her head, Mia groggily voiced her discovery, “I’m hungover..”

“Still??”  Trent exclaimed, as Mia watched a smug expression exude from his manly face, “I told you that you couldn’t drink as much as me.”

“Shut up, I can drink just as much as you can.”  Mia competitively argued, as she tilted her legs over the side of the bed and lofted herself onto her feet.  She attempted to keep herself wrapped in Trent’s covers like a toga, but wobblily stumbled forward from doing so.  Before she could fall, Trent embraced her with his sturdy arms.  She didn’t feel great.  She needed something to eat.

“Clearly you can hold your liquor well above your weight class, but maybe you shouldn’t try to drink as much as me.”  Trent reminded her, as her stunning face vulnerably looked up at his own.  He could tell from the look in her almond-brown eyes that she knew he was right.  He expected the next words out Mia’s luscious lips to be an acknowledgement of that fact, but instead he got..

“I’ll do what I want.”  Mia proclaimed, as her face softened along with her defiant tone.  She wrapped her arms around Trent’s waist and hugged him firmly, “And you’ll like it.”

“Haha, you can be such a little b*tch.”  Trent smirked, as Mia’s faced reflected her surprise by his casual choice of words.

“Shut up, don’t talk to me like that.”  Mia pouted, as she tried to nudge herself free of Trent’s embrace, but he wouldn’t let go just yet.

“I’ll talk to you however I want.  And you’ll like it.”  Trent replied mimicking Mia’s previously defiant tone, as she broke free of his grasp, took a few steps backward and then plopped her well-rounded butt back down on the bed.  She looked a little annoyed at him, but Trent decided to push his luck, “You ready to shower?  You really do smell like beer.”

“I do not smell like beer.  And no, I promised my friends I’d get lunch with them.  I gotta get ready.  I don’t have time to shower.”  Mia snobbishly vowed, as she momentarily dashed Trent’s hopes.  However, she should have known by now that he was not so easily dissuaded.  Taking off his sweaty gym penny and lowering himself to Mia’s level.  He nestled his lips right next to Mia’s ear.

“I’ll make it worth your while.”  Trent confidently breathed, as Mia felt chills surging down her spine.  She’d been offered this invitation before and had not been disappointed.

“Oh..kay..”  Mia absentmindedly responded out of habit.  Her body craved sustenance, but she couldn’t refute she was craving something else from Trent right now.  As he kissed her lips, she only managed to push him off her long enough to mutter, “*Mhh!*  Just a quick shower!”

She knew her words were empty, but as her more primal urges took over, she figured that her friends would manage fine without her for a little while longer.

45 minutes later..

“So, why the sudden interest in football?”  Jessica inquired in a suspiciously inquisitive tone.

While apparently a simple question, Jessica’s inflection conveyed the double-edged nature of what she was asking.  On the surface, Jessica’s simple query suggested she was just engaged with the rather typical cafeteria conversation they were having.  However, under the surface, the short brunette was asking something else entirely.  She’d carefully picked this question for one reason; she already knew the answer to it.  It was written all over Kate’s guilty face.  The real question Jessica was effectively asking was if Kate was willing to tell her the truth.

“Umm..”  Kate froze, as she ran her hands nervously through her long ponytail.  Jessica could clearly see Kate’s hesitation.  This was confirmation her theory was right.  It was practically a confession.  Kate was trying to dig her way out telling the truth.  Jessica eagerly watched, as the big breasted blonde carefully began to craft her next sentence, “I think it would just be nice to show our support for...”

As Kate continued to ramble, she witnessed the wheels turning in Jessica’s brain and her worry grew.  The short brunette flipped her long hair over her shoulder and adjusted the gaze she was giving Kate.  She was clearly tuning out the bullsh*t Kate was blurting about school spirit.

Forgetting about the rest of Jessica’s body language, Kate thought the look in her eyes screamed suspicion.  She wasn’t buying it, any of it..  Kate tried to maintain an innocent expression as she continued her masquerade, but the way Jessica was glaring at her caused a stumble in her words.  Kate’s voice abruptly stopped mid-sentence.  Jessica was no longer looking at her as if she suspected Kate of some ulterior motive, she was scrutinizing her as if she knew she was full of sh*t.

The growing silence around the lunch table marked a point of contention.  The lunch table was never silent.  At least not when Mia was dominating the conversation, but that was beside the point because she was missing in action yet again.  Where the heck was Mia anyway?  Kate had to admit that it felt awkward without her.  Mia always kept Jessica in check.  Without that check, Jessica looked confident and was acting like a freaking gossip detective.

Jessica pursed her inquisitive looking lips, while she leaned slightly more forward in her seat.  It was as if she was trying to invade Kate’s space just as much as she was trying to invade her vibrant web of deception.  Kate watched the hint of a knowing smile begin to escape from her friend’s rambunctious mouth, as Jessica’s lips finally revealed the burning question on her mind.

“What’s his name?”  Jessica pried in excitement, as a certain joy immitted from her expression.  She loved it when she was right, but she loved gossip even more.

“Who?”  Kate gasped feigning ignorance.  Internally her heart was flustered that Jessica had read her motives so easily, but she wasn’t ready to give her the satisfaction of being right.  Jessica was clearly starved for gossip.  So, she’d let her keep starving.

“The guy you wanna watch.”  Jessica prodded firmly, as her eyes narrowed on Kate’s innocent expression.  She was a bit surprised Kate wasn’t letting up.  Kate’s conviction almost made the short brunette doubt her assertion, but she knew better.  There was no other reason Kate would suddenly suggest going to a football game out of the blue like this if a hot boy wasn’t involved.

“I don’t wanna go because of some guy!”  Kate denied, as she shifted in her seat and tugged her overstretched tank-top downward over her tummy.  Dealing with Jessica right now felt like work but dealing with her choice in clothes today was just plain annoying.  She should have worn one of the newer shirts she’d purchased with Mia at the mall last week, but she wanted to be ‘comfy’ today.  Lot of good that did her.

The white tank top and grey pair of sweatpants she was sporting used to be her go-to comfy outfit, but they’d clearly both shrunk in the wash or something because they were not seeming to offer her much in the stretch department today.  The legs of the pants really didn’t feel very baggy at all.  It looked like she’d put on a thick pair of yoga pants by the way the fabric tightly clung to her thighs and backside.  Her tank top was even worse.  Her big boobs constantly made the damn thing ride up so much that her soft bellybutton was exposed!  Refocusing on Jessica, Kate bellowed, “I just think it would be fun!  When was even the last time we went to a game?”

“I think it was freshman year.”  Lara chimed in after sitting the vast majority of the conversation on the sidelines.  Kate had frankly almost forgotten she was there.  Despite being the tallest girl in their group, Lara seemed to always find a way to blend into the background.  Even now, as Lara’s bright blue eyes darted to avoid eye contact, her posture was slouched, and her profile was subdued.

“That’s right, cuz last year the football team only won like two games!”  Jessica nearly laughed.  She knew Kate didn’t care about school spirit.  This was all just some wild goose chase.

“But they are on a winning streak this year!”  Kate protested, while she reclaimed some authority in her voice.

“That’s cool and all, but I’d really rather try another frat party next weekend.  I just want a chill party where we can, you know, meet some guys.”  Jessica countered.  She was having a hard time believing how ridiculous Kate was acting.

“Why??  Yesterday sucked and Friday was even worse.  Everyone was way too out of control.”  Kate argued, as she leaned back in her chair and crossed her arms.

“I feel like all the frat guys have been out of control this semester.”  Lara quietly added, as she crossed her arms.

“Then how about we host a smaller party next weekend?”  Jessica proposed, as Kate shook her head.

“We could do that, but if you wanna meet guys there will be tons of them at the game!  Think about it, pregaming is gonna be huge at the tailgate.  If you don’t wanna watch the whole game, you can just mingle.  Then we can throw an after party or hit the frats after.”  Kate explained in an attempt to compromise.

“We are not gonna wanna go to a frat party if we start drinking that early.”  Jessica knowingly stated, as she looked to Lara for support.

“It will be the weekend before midterms.  Shouldn’t we maybe just plan to study?”  Lara nervously added.  She knew her opinion was bound to be unpopular with her friends, but it was the only thing she could think to contribute at the moment.

“Umm..  On second thought.  A football game sounds like fun.  And maybe we could party after.”  Jessica rationalized, as she made eye contact with Kate before announcing, “I’ll go.”

“Go where?”  A familiar voice burst from behind Kate.

In an instant, everyone turned to get an eyeful of the lunch crasher.  Jessica had seen her coming from a bit away, but her brain hadn’t connected the dots until just this second.  Mia’s long jet-black hair was sloppily done into a French braid.  Jessica wasn’t sure if she’d ever seen Mia wear her hair like that before.  It only took a moment for the rest of the group to catch on and get over the surprise of seeing Mia for the first time in days.

“*Ahem* The football game next weekend.”  Jessica clarified, as she sent Mia a welcome wave with her hand.

“Ehh, why?”  Mia snobbishly gawked, as she placed her tray on the table.  Jessica’s eyes widened in response to the meal Mia had selected for herself.  Her tray contained plates with a greasy cheeseburger with fries drenched in ketchup, and a large bagel drowning in cream cheese.  As Mia moved to sit down, Jessica noted just how tight the jeans Mia was wearing looked against her thighs.  Additionally, Jessica could swear that she was seeing a beer belly poking against the obviously oversized sweat jacket her upper body was draped in, but it was hard to tell.  She must have borrowed the jacket from Trent.  For the first time in a long time, Mia didn’t exactly look like a million bucks.  Perhaps all that partying with her new boyfriend was catching up with her.

“Kate wants us to go.”  Lara promptly responded, as Mia’s head abruptly turned toward Kate while her bubble butt plopped firmly in her seat.  Mia did her best to ignore the uncomfortable tightness her pants were producing around the waistline of her jeans.  She was still a bit hungover and bloated from last night, so she decided to cut herself a little slack with regards to her tummy.  Besides, she was wearing her lovely semi inflated beach ball under Trent’s sweat jacket so nobody could really tell her tummy was actually looking a little soft.

However, Mia could not forgive the tightness around her thighs, hips and ass.  Dating Trent had thrown a massive wrench into her carefully plotted revenge schedule.  She’d normally make time to be social and party three times a week, but with Trent on the off season of his sport, if they were not partying at night, they were out at the bars drinking, dancing, and having fun.  Mia would have preferred some quieter dates every now and then, but she didn’t want to let such a lustful lover down.

The addition of so many late nights, meant that Mia’s mornings were spent digesting alcohol and counting sheep rather than dedicating herself to an hour and a half at the gym.  The lack of gym time was something that worried Mia more than her drinking or the amount of time she was giving to her new boyfriend.  A few weeks ago, she’d bought a bunch of undersized jeans and pants to wear around Kate so it would look like she’d put on weight.  Now, those smaller sized pants flat out didn’t fit around her thighs.  She was back to wearing her regularly sized pants, but now they were the garments that appeared tight!  She knew she had remained in sexy shape from dancing and spending a lot of time in bed with Trent, but sexy shape wasn’t the same as athletic shape and her thighs knew the difference.  She knew she needed to make some changes to her schedule, but right now wasn’t the time to figure it out.  Besides, it wasn’t like she had to worry about Kate out shining her anymore.  Quickly putting her slightly self-conscious thoughts behind her, Mia refocused on the conversation in front of her.  Why did Kate want everyone to go to a football game?

“Ohh?  What’s his name??”  Mia teased, as Kate rolled her eyes.  The last person Kate planned to tell about Jay was Mia.  If her perfect friend wasn’t looking so uncharacteristically mediocre today, she might have just lost her temper.  Judging from the look of Mia’s thighs and her gut, it seemed dating Trent had done even more to tame Mia’s rambunctious body than her efforts at sabotage.  While Kate was still not okay with the way Mia went about securing Trent as a boyfriend over her, she was hopeful that the relationship would temper Mia’s alluringly feminine figure with some more well-deserved love-chub.

“That’s what I said!”  Jessica giggled in agreement, as Mia searched for a rise out of Kate, but didn’t receive the kind of response she expected.  Kate looked less upset with her teasing and more.. amused?

“This is not about some guy.  Come on, it would be fun!”  Kate tried to assure her two-faced friend, as she opened her plea to the group, “We’ve hardly done anything together as a group in three weeks.”

“We do stuff all the time.”  Mia rebuked Kate’s plea, as she tilted her chin to the side and picked up her burger declaring, “Besides, I have plans next Saturday.”

“Show some school spirit.”  Kate protested, as Mia shrugged off Kate’s words with a ravenous bite of her burger.

“School spirit?  Ha!”  Mia burst, as she continued to chew her meat, “Since when did you get school spirit?  You complain about the cafeteria line every day, and you were the first to b*tch about the school announcing the raise in tuition next year!”

“First of all, if we gotta wait in the line for five whole minutes, they should give us as much food as we ask for.  It sucks having to wait in line twice as long just to get a decent amount of chicken nuggets.”  Kate quickly muttered, as her voice grew more animated.  She looked at Mia gobble down another bite of her burger before she continued, “And second, they raise tuition every year.  It’s f*cking ridiculous.  Where does the money go?  The food doesn’t get better, I don’t see them hiring more professors and the freshman dorms still look like they’re a war zone.”

“They are building that new admissions building.”  Lara squeaked, as Kate shut her down immediately.

“That’s beside the point.  It does nothing for ‘us,’ the people who have to keep paying the freaking tuition.”  Kate bellowed, as Mia capitalized on Kate’s rant to attempt to quell her hangover induced appetite.  She put down her now half-eaten burger and took a starved bite of some French fries while she watched Jessica seem to take offense to Kate’s latest outburst.

“What’s beside the point is any of you complaining about tuition.  Why should it matter to you three?  Daddy pays your bills.  Some of us have loans!”  Jessica growled, as Kate, Lara and Mia briefly made eye contact with each other before Mia cleared her throat with a big gulp of chewed fries.

“Woah Jess, can you calm down.  If you are worried about money, just marry Kyle.  You said his family comes from money, right?”  Mia reminded her in a semi-joking fashion, while she picked up what remained of her burger and took a bite.  However, as Mia chewed, she could see Jessica’s face did not look pleased.  Mia managed another quick nibble of her burger before Jessica lashed out.

“Kyle and I broke up a week ago.”  Jessica revealed, as her voice sounded rather cold.  Her eyes were watching the sloppy way Mia was eating her burger with disgust and annoyance.

“Oh.”  Mia blurted a bit awkwardly with her mouth full.  Her cheeks were nearly bursting with low grade cow meat.  Quickly chewing down her savory bite of her now dwindling burger, Mia uttered a meager, “My bad!”

“You would have known if you’d gone to lunch at all last week.  Where’ve you been?”  Jessica pried in an annoyed manner.  She thought Mia looked like hell.  She certainly hoped her friend hadn’t been living in hell with her new boyfriend for the past few weeks.  The way she was scarfing down her giant lunch, Jessica was willing to believe Lucifer wasn’t feeding Mia properly.

“You know..  I’ve just been spending a little extra time with my AMAZING boyfriend.”  Mia lauded to her friends, as she made eye contact with Kate and sent her a superior wink.  She’d been disappointed earlier when she’d failed to get a rise out of her blipping blonde friend, but this time she could tell Kate had gotten the message.  She could see the jealousy teeming from her face.

“How have things been going with Trent?”  Lara inquisitively asked, as Mia flashed her a beaming smile.  The sorority diva was clearly enjoying the attention she was getting at Kate’s expense.

“Bleh, gag me with a spoon..”  Kate spat, as she rolled her eyes.  She could feel her blood boiling.  Of course, Mia couldn’t resist rubbing it in.  Freaking cheater.

“Why don’t you grab some yogurt or something for dessert Kate, I wanna hear about Trent too.”  Jessica intervened, as Kate decided to confront this bullsh*t rather than run from it.

“They’re still in the honeymoon faze.  All they are doing is f*cking each other.  All the time.”  Kate growled, as she sent a glare Mia’s way.

“How would you know?”  Mia objected, as her lavish smile quickly morphed into her best resting b*tch face.

“Because there is a pile of laundry piling up in your room that’s taller than Mount Everest!    Christ Mia, you haven’t slept in your own bed since you two started dating, have you?”  Kate accused, as Jessica and Lara kept their thoughts to themselves.  They knew far too well that it wasn’t a good idea to get in between Mia and Kate when they started butting heads.

“Don’t go looking in my room without my permission.”  Mia voiced in a threatening tone.

“You left the door open.”  Kate frankly countered, as Mia pressed her attack.

“Well if my laundry bothers you so much why don’t you just take it to the laundromat and do it for me?”  Mia annoyingly suggested, as Kate’s face hardened into a glare.

“Because I’m not your f*cking maid.  Do it yourself.”  Kate spat.

“How much would I have to pay you to do it for me?”  Mia slyly bargained, as Kate’s eyes widened with surprise.

“…”  Kate couldn’t tell if Mia was being serious or just messing with her.  After a quick thought about it, Kate seriously responded with, “$100.”

“$50.”  Mia haggled, as Kate could tell Mia was serious now.

“Fine.”  Kate agreed, as she noticed Jessica’s jaw drop.

“I’ll pay you tomorrow.”  Mia assured her, as she plopped the last bit of her burger into her mouth, dumped the remaining fries onto her bagel plate and stuck the empty burger plate underneath the bagel plate.

“Are you guys serious??”  Jessica burst in disgust, as she watched Mia nibbling on more fries.

“What?  I don’t have time to do it and I need clothes.”  Mia frankly explained, while she shrugged.

“Whatever.”  Jessica blinked, as she tried to get over just how spoiled Mia acted sometimes.  Despite how much Mia could get under her skin, she did still have questions about Trent.  Jessica never got a good vibe from the guy and wanted to make sure her friend was making out okay.  So, deciding to drop the issue of how spoiled Mia always acted, Jessica asked, “How have things been going with Trent?”

“It’s been really good.  Trent’s amazing.  One of a kind really.  The best boyfriend I’ve ever had by far.”  Mia began to sing his praises, in the three weeks following her first sexual encounter with Trent, the dinner dates, the incessant texting, and the playfully little walks had been replaced with nightly passion-filled sex sessions.  Sometimes they were even doing it twice a day, late into the night and, once they woke up, late into the morning.  Her blisteringly attractive boyfriend had really figured out how to get her libido into high gear.  In Mia’s opinion, the sex had continued getting better and better.  He kissed her more firmly, there was more desire in the way he touched her, and the way they rubbed together just sent sparks cascading across her skin.  The chemistry and attraction they shared was as exhilarating as it was exhausting.

“So, the sex is good?”  Jessica asked more suspiciously, as she read the subtext of Mia’s response.

“Two words.  Mind blowing.”  Mia enthusiastically chirped, as Kate shifted uncomfortably in her seat.

“Ugh!  One word:  Vomit.  Anybody want anything from the dessert line?”  Kate begrudgingly offered, as she stood up.  Once Kate moved upward, Mia’s eyes detected a solidly sized jiggle in Kate’s belly.  Unbeknownst to Kate, the hint of softness she’d carried on her formerly athletic stomach had jutted out into a pudgy pouch of fat.  Mia was pleased by the way its size tempered the apparent accumulation of fat in Kate’s swollen breasts.  Mia was slightly jealous of Kate’s assets, but the fact that Kate had porked up everywhere around her body calmed her envy.  Despite not personally sabotaging Kate’s weight in weeks, it was clear that the wheels of Kate’s weight gain hadn’t stopped turning.  It brought a smug smile to Mia’s face, that caused Kate to venomously hiss before leaving the table, “No?  More for me then.”

“Is Kate okay?”  Jessica asked wondering just what set her off so much.  It was clear she was butting heads with Mia in some way, but Jessica felt like she was missing a few details.

“I don’t know.  Why do you care?”  Mia rolled her eyes, as she picked up her bagel and took a bite.  That burger had really hit the spot, but she was still hungry.  She knew she needed food to get rid of the piecing headache she was dealing with, so she was determined to eat her fill.

“Cause, I’m worried about her.”  Jessica admitted, as she turned her head and watched Kate’s curvy body trudge toward the dessert line.

“What for?  She’s always moody.”  Mia replied in a matter-of-fact manor.

“It’s not that, look at her.  Notice anything?”  Jessica pointed, as Mia proudly admired her handywork.  You could tell at a glance that Kate’s constant snacking had taken a toll on her body.

“Umm..”  Mia muttered playing dumb to the obvious expansion of Kate’s hourglass figure, “Did she get a haircut?”

“No!  I’m talking about her weight!  She’s getting kinda pudgy.  Don’t ya think?”  Jessica impatiently expressed, as she dropped the pretenses and waited for Mia to take this seriously.

“Haha, yeah, looks like she’s eaten a few too many cookies from the cookie jar.”  Mia hummed completely smitten with the fact she’d so clearly made Kate’s plan to fatten her up backfire so hard.

“Should we say something?” Jessica insistently asked, as Mia replied with a nonchalant shrug.  Mia knew she was trouncing Kate in this secret war of weights they had going on and, to be frank, she felt like she’d already won.  Mia knew for sure she was now superior to Kate in every way, but that didn’t mean she was done letting Kate suffer the consequences of her insubordination.

“It’s not our place.” Lara shyly commented knowing she’d be embarrassed if her friends ever commented on her weight.  Club volleyball had help her shed some pounds this semester, but she still had a bit of belly fat she was embarrassed of.

“Oh, come on Lara, the beer gut Kate’s sporting makes it look like she’s pregnant!”  Jessica accurately voiced, as Lara got to wondering.

“Oh gosh, she’s not pregnant?  Is she?” Lara said in a worried tone, while she looked to Mia.

“Hahaha, of course not.  What guy would wanna have sex with her looking like that?”  Mia meanly joked.  She couldn’t get enough of this.  Listening to others admire her handywork was like basking in the glory of her victory.

“Plenty of guys Mia.”  Jessica defended Kate, as she gave Mia’s arm a little nudge, “We should talk to her.”

“So, she’s been stress eating.  Big deal.  Everybody does it.  She’s just having a rough semester.  If we really wanna be her friends about this, we shouldn’t bother her about it.  It will only make her feel worse.” Mia replied authoritatively, as her tone seemed to stifle Jessica’s enthusiasm.  Mia was enjoying this conversation, but she didn’t want Kate losing her overstuffed body until Mia deemed she deserved it.

“Well, ok then.  But if she turns into a complete pig, don’t say I never mentioned it.” Jessica grunted rather annoyed Mia effectively pulled rank on her.

“That’s uncalled for Jessica, Kate’s not a pig.”  Lara chimed in, mistaking Jessica’s tone.

       “I said ‘if!’”  Jessica emphasized.

“Yeah Jess, she’s our friend don’t be mean.” Mia smugly replied, as Jessica clearly began to feel annoyed.

“Oh shut up Mia.”  Jessica spat.

“Haha, fine.  Be right back.  I’m gonna get something else to eat, I’m craving something sweet.”  Mia dismissed Jessica’s outburst, as she left her nearly untouched bagel on her plate while she stood upward.

“Maybe get a salad.”  Jessica quietly muttered defiantly, as Mia took her first step away from the table.  Mia could pretend she didn’t hear her, but she wasn’t one to take a jab lying down.

“Why?”  Mia loudly asked, as Jessica seemed to find her backbone after taking another glance at Mia’s sloppy getup today.

“Cause by the look of those jeans, Kate’s not the only one sporting some extra poundage around here.”  Jessica spat with an attitude that caused Mia’s temper to spike.

“Some people would say tight jeans look sexy.”  Mia proclaimed, as she placed her hand on her hips and locked eyes with Jessica.  This was the first time in a long time Jessica had gotten the nerve to really challenge her on something.  Normally it was Kate who clashed with her.  Mia resolved to nip this insubordination in the butt right away.  It would be a shame to have to sabotage Jessica’s weight too, just to teach her a lesson about loyalty.

“Some people would say if your jeans look tight you should wear a larger size.”  Jessica fired back without backing down.  Mia was amazed Jessica was daring to stand up to her like this.  She decided to throw Jessica a curveball.

“I’ll get a salad.”  Mia lied, as she wanted to give Jessica the impression that she was backing down.

“You should.”  Jessica boasted feeling she’d somehow successfully gotten one over on Mia.

“I’m getting it because that’s what I want.  Not because of anything you said.”  Mia retorted.

       “Sure.”  Jessica shrugged her shoulders.

“Ugh.”  Mia grunted, as she headed off toward the cafeteria lines and nearly bumped into Kate while her pudgy friend returned to the table.

“What’s her problem?”  Kate wondered out loud, as Jessica was less than keen to reveal what had caused their conversation to heat up.

“She never said if she was going to the football game with us.”  Jessica replied, as she tried to steer the conversation back to something more productive.

“I don’t care if Mia goes.  She can do whatever she wants.”  Kate growled clearly still annoyed at Mia.

Jessica’s head popped up as she spied Mia hurrying back to the table with a plate that contained four cookies on it.  She must have freaking ran to the dessert line because she’d really been gone for no time at all.

“I thought you were getting a salad!”  Jessica chastised her, as Mia sat down and decided to start the show.

“I changed my mind.  I didn’t have breakfast today so I’m feeling extra hungry.”  Mia declared, as she thrust a cookie into her mouth.

“What are you doing?  That’s enough cookies for the whole table.”  Jessica judgmentally barked, as she tried to look out for her friend’s figure.

“Mia, there is no way you can eat that much.”  Kate dared her in a challenging tone.

“Wanna bet?”   Mia replied seeming to take the bait.

“Stop pretending like you’re still hungry!  What’s wrong with you?”  Jessica voiced, while she shook her head in disgust.

“Nothing’s wrong with me.  I’m perfect.  You seem to think my jeans look tight, but the truth is I could eat cookies all day and still have no problem buttoning them.”  Mia ridiculously declared, as her eyes locked with Jessica’s.  With Jessica’s attention on her, Mia gluttonously forced a whole cookie into her mouth and snobbishly mumbled, “What’s your problem Jess?  Jealous??”

“No!!  Your jeans DO look tight!  Are you blind?!”  Jessica stammered in disbelief at Mia’s audacity.

“Kate, do you think my jeans look tight?”  Mia knowingly turned to her bitter rival.  This was one fight she knew Kate would back her up on.  She knew Kate wanted her to fatten up, she’d never call her out for acting like a fatty.

“Not at all.  You’re crazy Jessica.”  Kate lied assuming that Mia was in denial about her growing body.  Kate couldn’t risk alerting Mia of her plan to fatten her out of social relevance.  So, for now, she’d pretend to be the loyal subject.

“What??”  Jessica burst.  Kate and Mia were always at odds.  She couldn’t fathom why Kate was blindly following her now.

“Lara?  Do they?”  Mia turned to ask her shy friend.  She knew that while Jessica possessed the fire inside to challenge her, Lara did not.

“Umm..  No..”  Lara gulped not wanting to get into the argument.

“Are you serious?”  Jessica nearly whimpered, as she felt completely backstabbed by her blonde friends.

“So, it sounds like you’re blind, not me.  Maybe you should get your eyes checked Jess.”  Mia grinned, as she claimed her checkmate with another bite from the plate of cookies she’d taken.

“Maybe I should.”  Jessica angrily admitted defeat, as she stood up from the table and grunted, “I’ll see you b*tches tomorrow.”

“Love you too Jess!”  Mia waved, as Jessica flipped them off on her walk to the trash cans.

“Mia why do you do that?  You know she hates it when you call her Jess.”  Lara asked, as Mia simply shrugged with delight.

“I know.”  Mia acknowledged, as she lifted up another cookie and gave Lara a smug look, “That’s why I say it.”

Volume 1: Chapter 14- Bingo?

It was a muggy day for a football game, but that didn’t stop the rowdy college denizens of Douglas University from turning out in force for the event’s tailgate.  Since Adamsville was normally such a quiet town, the grudge match about to unfold with the school’s historic conference rival set the stage for a boisterous event.  This was the first winning season DU’s football team had experienced in quite some time, that fact alone was enough to push the townies, and some die hard alumni to show up for the game.  However, the majority of the casual college-aged attendants of the event were primarily there for the tailgate.  The tents had gone up hours before the game was set to start and the drinks started flowing around the same time.  The drunken crowd would likely stick around for the game, as long as it wasn’t a snooze-fest or a blowout, and then migrate off campus to partake in more traditional weekend festivities once the event had ended.

While dark clouds loomed in the sky and tiny drops of rain began to sprinkle lightly across the stadium, Kate was in high spirits for a multitude of reasons.  For one, she’d succeeded in convincing Jessica and Lara to attend the tailgate and game with her.  She’d been excited to watch the game and it was nice not to be alone.  Kate was also happy because the poor weather meant she didn’t have to dress her best.

Instead of wrestling herself into a pair of tight jeans and a cleavage-emphasizing crop top, Kate settled for a far more comfortable pair of brown sweatpants, and a matching sweat jacket that was doing its job and keeping her warm.  Although.. she felt the jacket was a bit undersized.  The zipper kept sneaking its way down around her boobs revealing the fabric of her tight white tank top and some of her abundant d-cup cleavage.  Also, every time she raised her arms to cheer, the bottom of the sweat jacket lifted to expose the soft roll of lower belly fat which had found itself a permanent home just below her pudgier looking belly button.  Kate shrugged off the obvious signs she was putting on weight as best she could.  She chalked up her recent wardrobe difficulties mostly to bloating, and she unconsciously found reasons to wear clothing more accommodating to her currently overfed figure such as the sweats she had on right now.  In her mind as long as she was thinner than Mia, all was right with the world.  Any newfound softness she happened to notice on her body was quickly dismissed as nothing more than her overcritical imagination.

To go along with her shabby choice of clothes, Kate only lightly applied some makeup to her face.  She decided on wearing a school-logoed baseball cap so that she could both keep the rain from ruining her makeup and so her long blonde ponytail could comfortably poke out the backside of the hat.  Despite presenting a very simple appearance today, Kate felt sporty and cute which was all that mattered.

Jessica had opted for a slightly more polished outfit, but Lara wasn’t wearing anything too attention grabbing.  The short vivacious brunette wore a dark pair of jeans, a black tank top and a luscious leather jacket to match her hair.  Inversely, the tall blonde volleyball player’s choice of attire was simpler, Lara wore a regular pair of jeans and wrapped herself in a larger wool coat.  It wasn’t too stylish, but it had utility for the weather.  It was certainly a bit chilly outside as the rain slowly sprinkled and misted its way to the ground.  Lara had clearly looked at the forecast because she’d thoughtfully brought an extra-large umbrella for Kate and Jessica to share.

The events of the morning had been quite pleasant, everyone was able to stay dry, Kate and Jessica did a little drinking at the tailgate, and they shared some enjoyable, if a little trivial conversation among each other.  Most importantly, nobody got heated, nobody caused any pointless drama, and nobody really gave each other any grief over their choice of attire, that was usually Mia’s forte.

Speaking of Miss Mia Preston, her absence was obviously felt among the group, but Kate wasn’t exactly missing her.  While Kate had secured a promise from Mia that she’d meet up with them once the game had started, she almost hoped Mia would be a no-show.  Besides, Kate didn’t exactly trust Mia at her word.  This past week had been eye opening into the life of her angelic-looking little devil of a friend.  Something was going on..  Mia had been hiding something..  and Kate was pretty sure she’d figured her rival out.

Kate’s suspicions had been roused while she’d been doing the laundry that Mia had paid her to do since the sorority princess was clearly too lazy to do it herself.  Mia seemed to go through a hell of a lot of clothes, but that wasn’t too surprising for Kate.  What was noteworthy was the type of clothes Kate found among Mia’s piles of dirty laundry.  While not large in number, Kate found at least two used workout outfits that definitely smelled like the gym.  This discovery was a bit of a shock to the secret saboteur.  She hadn’t known Mia had been working out at all, even if it was a little irregular judging from the shortage of workout outfits Mia had used.

Kate had thought her soon-to-be prized heifer was just as lazy as she acted.  But this development led her to think there might be more going on with Mia’s gain than met the eye.  Kate thought it was possible that since Mia was spending so much time with Trent, she’d started going to the gym with him sometimes, but if that was the case Mia would probably be looking like she was losing weight instead of gaining it, which she definitely was.

Mia normally did her best to conceal the truth around other people.  She wore Trent’s jackets and sweatshirts over her dangerously snug outfits to hide the gut of a belly she’d grown.  However, Kate knew the truth, she saw Mia more regularly without such concealing articles of clothing on, usually when Mia stopped by the house and they were alone together.  Kate only wished Mia would slip up in public and wear something more revealing.  Then everyone would know perfect little Mia had let herself go and the damage to her reputation would be worth all the trouble sabotaging her weight had been.

Kate wanted to see the look on Mia’s face when she realized just what she’d done to herself with her overindulgence.  Kate wanted to see that look more than almost anything.  That’s why Kate was so concerned that Mia had clearly made some attempts to get herself back in the gym.  If Mia jumped back on the fitness bandwagon right now, everything Kate had worked so hard for could be ruined.

Rather than ask Mia about her gym habits, and risk exposing herself with an over-interest in Mia’s weight, Kate decided to counter her rival in two discreet, but meaningful ways.  First, she’d use her access to Mia’s laundry to slowly change out her wardrobe with identical articles of clothing in larger sizes.  Kate figured Mia noticed her gain because her fat ass wasn’t fitting into her pretty jeans like it used to.  To solve the problem, Kate grabbed more than a few pairs of pants she knew Mia frequently wore.  She wrote down the brands and removed the sizing tags.  A trip to the mall allowed Kate to buy the exact same articles of clothing, but in larger sizes.  Kate used the money Mia had paid her for doing her laundry and her father’s credit card to front the costs of this particular sabotage.  Once Kate got back home, she did her darndest to swap the sizing labels so when Mia’s ass was fitting into a pair of pants a size or two larger than she’d worn previously, she’d be none the wiser

It was an expensive move, but one Kate hoped would bear fruit of the fattening variety.  She resolved to slowly replace Mia’s most common outfits every time Mia asked her to do her laundry which, knowing the lazy sorority princess, would be a lot.  Kate’s next method of addressing Mia’s apparent sporadic gym trips was to do some detective work.  She needed to learn how her prey behaved when she wasn’t around so that every aspect of Mia’s lifestyle could be bent to Kate’s desires.

Kate did her best to shadow Mia around campus the past week, but she stuck real gold in her efforts after lunch on Thursday, Mia had actually shown up for the first time that week and Kate decided to follow Mia and see what the b*tch beauty queen did after she left lunch.  Kate knew that Mia had class, but after that she wanted to see where Mia went.  Did she go to the gym to sneak in a workout to try and banish the belly she’d unwillingly welcomed onto her figure?  Or did the boyfriend-stealer meet up with Trent and workout with him?  She’d brought a book to read while Mia attended class, but never got a chance to even open it.

As she followed Mia after lunch, she discovered that her so-called friend walked right by the building she was supposed to have class in.  Kate was supremely surprised, but as she followed Mia’s big booty, it soon became clear what she was doing.  Mia was skipping class!  She was skipping class to fit some gym time into her busy schedule!

So, Kate’s sabotage had forced the darling of Douglas University to skip class in order to try and salvage her bulging figure.  Kate was slightly upset Mia was sneaking off to the gym, but it also felt good.  Like a victory.  She knew Mia should be larger than she was now with the way she always ate, but now she had an explanation.  It wasn’t that Mia was superhuman, she was sacrificing her academics to try salvage her body before people noticed her rapidly accumulating percentage of bodyfat and her popularity took a well-deserved dumpster dive.

Kate had known her plan to fatten up Mia had slowly been working, but this new information meant she’d have to make a few changes.  Nothing major, but she would need to find a way to get Mia eating directly after her gym time.  She knew working out would only increase her friend’s rampant appetite, she just had to capitalize on it and then it would be checkmate on Mia Preston’s popularity.  Maybe she should sneak fattening energy bars into Mia’s gym bag?  Was that to obvious?  Maybe.  She’d mull over the idea for a while before she did anything.

With the finish line for her plan finally in sight, Kate wasn’t in a rush to crush her dark-haired rival prematurely, she’d let Mia struggle in the gym for a bit if she wanted to.  With victory so close at hand, Kate wanted to enjoy herself.  Savor it.  So rather than try and focus on little miss perfect today, she was intent on enjoying the football game and checking on her own hopeful prospect in the boyfriend department.

The first quarter had been a rush of activity, both teams were making plays and moving the football.  A hard-fought touchdown by the Douglas University Wildcats was quickly answered by a touchdown for the Coastal College Warriors.  The tipsy college crowd was getting into the game and so was Kate, but Jessica and Lara seemed content to ignore the action and talk among themselves.  It wasn’t too distracting until they both went to the bathroom and returned during the beginning of the second quarter.  For some reason Jessica was going off about something she’d heard in the bathroom and Lara was uncharacteristically engaging with the gossip-starved glamor girl’s ramblings.  Wanting them to settle down so she could focus on Jay, Kate turned to her friends with the intent of silencing them.

“Shhh!  Shut it guys I’m trying to watch!”  Kate growled, while Jessica turned toward her and apologetically nodded her head.

“Okay, okay.”  Jessica quickly burst, as she decided to ignore Kate’s badgering like she was ignoring how much Kate had blimped up over the last few weeks of the semester.

“Who do you think they heard it from?”  Lara nudged Jessica apparently interested in hearing more of what the short brunette had to say.

“Everyone’s talking about it.  Obviously, there are multiple sources.”  Jessica loudly responded with a childish smile, while her brain started to truly ponder Lara’s simple question.

“What is such a big deal that you two feel the need to talk through the entire game??”  Kate growled once again.  This time she was loud enough for the people behind them in the stadium to hear.

“Oh?  You haven’t heard?”  Jessica innocently muttered, while she arched herself backward a little, so she wasn’t cutting off either Kate or Lara from the conversation.

“If this is some stupid gossip, I don’t care.”  Kate spoke, while tentatively engaging with Jessica’s eager eye contact.

“It’s not stupid.”  Jessica proclaimed almost sounding hurt, “Right Lara?”

“It’s.. interesting.”  Lara mused in such a way that got Kate interested.  Lara normally wasn’t the type to indulge petty gossip.  Whatever they were talking about had to be of some substance.

“Fine, tell me.”  Kate relented, as her curiosity got the better of her.

“Sorority bingo.”  Jessica cryptically burst with enthusiasm.

“What?”  Kate raised an eyebrow, while her mind drew a blank.  Had she been so obsessed with Mia that she’d forgotten about a sorority event?

“Apparently the frats and the men’s sports teams have been playing it since the semester started.”  Lara clarified, while it appeared Kate didn’t seem to grasp what was being said.

“What’s sorority bingo?”  Kate specified to Jessica, as her mind tried to make sense of what was being said.

“Well, we are not exactly sure how the guys set it up, but here is the rough idea, the frats and sports teams made a 5x5 bingo board.  The spaces on the board are categories of acceptable hookups.  So basically, the only way someone can get a bingo and win is if they sleep with a girl from each sorority.”  Jessica energetically explained.  She was loving this.  She loved nothing more than digging into somebody’s secrets or a juicy piece of gossip.  But wait, as Kate thought about Jessica’s words, something didn’t add up.

“But there aren’t 25 sororities on campus.  Is there even ten?”  Kate wondered, as Jessica didn’t seem to have the answer.  Her face reflected her lack of knowledge.

“There’s nine.”  Lara meekly added, as Jessica nodded her head in agreement.

“but..  nobody seems to know all the categories or even all the rules.  The guys are trying to keep it a secret, but apparently some women’s sports teams are on the board too.”  Jessica explained.  She was doing her best to fill in the missing pieces of this interesting news.

“Even club teams?”  Lara chimed in, as Jessica abruptly nodded.

       “Maybe.”  Jessica answered frankly.

“It explains why the guys have been so nuts at parties recently.  Especially with the pickup lines.”  Lara muttered, while Jessica seemed to have either swallowed her tongue or fried a circuit in her brain from all the questions the existence of such a game raised.

“It does..”  Kate responded, as her thoughts turned away from what the existence of such a game meant for the campus at large, and instead turned her thoughts to something more personal for her, “Do you think the football team is in on this?”

“Probably.  Why wouldn’t they be?  They’re not as crazy as the lacrosse guys or the basketball team, but they can get pretty rowdy under the right circumstances.”  Jessica prattled off, as she suddenly became attuned to her friend’s real fear.  Changing her tone to something more consoling, Jessica placed her hand on Kate’s thick thigh and softly voiced in concern, “Are you worried your crush is just interested in you for the bingo?”

“No..”  Kate stubbornly denied, but deep down she knew that’s where her thoughts were going, “Well, maybe..”

“So there is a crush!  Ha!!  I knew it!!”  Jessica jubilantly burst, while she gushed to Lara, “I told you!  I told you!  I called it!”

“Yup.  You did..”  Lara admitted trying to give Jessica her satisfaction and be respectful towards Kate’s privacy.

“Spill the beans blondie!”  Jessica ordered, as she lifted her hand and gave Kate a firm poke right into her soft gut.

“Alright.”  Kate grunted, while Jessica’s hand pushed her to take a breath before she’d intended to.  She’d stupidly just blown her little secret.  There was no point in lying now.  Continuing, Kate begrudgingly admitted, “I kinda have a thing for the kicker.”

“Which one is he??”  Jessica demanded to know, while the short brunette used both of her hands to form binoculars in an attempt to scan the field for him, “What number?”

“I think he’s the one about to punt right?”  Lara pointed, as Kate abruptly turned her attention back to the game.  Kate analyzed the formation and spotted Jay.  Lara hadn’t been correct in her assessment of what was about to happen.

“It’s not a punt he’s going to try and kick a..”  Kate began to correct her friend, as the play started, she lost her voice for a moment, and then Jay thunderously kicked the football right between the posts for a sizable.. “Field goal!!  Ahhh!!!  Yeahhh!  Way to go JAY!!!!”

“Ouch my ears..”  Jessica dramatically embellished, while she looked at Kate with sincere curiosity.

Not realizing she’d been so loud, Kate turned toward her short friend and innocently muttered, “What?”

“Be honest, do you scream like that when you’re in bed with him?”  Jessica teased, as Kate blushed something fierce.

“First of all,” Kate began to read Jessica the riot act, but Jessica cut her off.

“I’m just kidding!  Come on!  Tell me, how long have you two been a thing??”  Jessica demanded in her typical gossip starved fashion.

Kate tried to keep her cool and not to let her temper get the better of her.  Sure, people in the stands around them had heard Jessica’s comments, but she didn’t really know anyone in earshot so that could be forgiven.  Deciding to try and deescalate Jessica’s excitement, Kate carefully explained, “We are not a thing.  Yet.  He’s a sweet guy and we are taking things slow.”

“You suck at lying.  I won’t tell Mia if that’s what you’re worried about.”  Jessica promised.  Neither Kate nor Lara really believed Jessica’s promise.

“I am being honest!”  Kate assured her, but Jessica remained unconvinced.

“Come on, how’s the sex?”  Jessica teased, as she gave her pudgy friend a nudge.

Not appearing amused, Kate responded in a sarcastic fashion, “I’ll let you know if and when we do it.  I won’t spare a single sexy detail no matter how depraved and ragged.”

“Umm-hmm..  Like hell you will.”  Jessica rolled her eyes in feigned disappointment, as she zipped up her jacket a little bit and crossed her arms to try and convey her playful disdain for Kate’s sarcasm.

“Are you going to go on a date with him?”  Lara innocently wondered, as Kate appreciated Lara’s honest tone.

“Umm, we are planning on hanging out tonight, but I’m not sure I’d really call it a date..  Well I guess it might be..  He’s gonna come over after the game and we are gonna watch a movie.”  Kate revealed, as she noticed a reaction on both of her friends faces.

“Oh, that’s sweet.”  Lara smiled clearly happy for her.

“So, you’re bailing on us?”  Jessica wondered in curiosity.

“Is that okay?”  Kate softly inquired realizing she’d never really notified them of her change in plans.

“It’s okay,” Jessica seemed to shrug, as she added, “but you have to at least tell me what movie you’re gonna watch.”

“I don’t know.. We haven’t decided.”  Kate responded pretty quickly.

“They’re not gonna watch a movie.”  Jessica turned her head and whispered to Lara.

       “Huh?”  Lara curiously hummed.

“There might be a movie on in the background, but they won’t be watching it.”  Jessica winked, as Lara caught on.

“Ooh..”  Lara nodded, as Kate’s ears heard Jessica’s squeaky voice.

“Shut up Jessica.  We ARE going to watch something.”  Kate emphasized, as she crossed her arms under her substantial bust.

“Hey, I’m not judging.”  Jessica assured her with a smile, “I’m happy for you.”

“Whatever, we probably just jinxed it anyway.  He probably is only using me for sorority bingo.”  Kate pouted, as she hunched over in poor posture.  Her mind never really threw the possibility that Jay might be playing that stupid game and using her to score points or whatever.

“No way!  Don’t overthink things.  If he’s a sweet guy he’s probably not playing sorority bingo.  That’s for the f*ckboys, sex addicts and lacky dweebs trying to prove themselves.”  Jessica explained rather confidently, while she placed a supportive hand on Kate’s shoulder, “Besides, if all he wanted was a piece of Eta Lambda Pi ass to mark off a bingo box, I doubt you’d be his first choice.”

“Why?  Cause Mia’s prettier than me?”  Kate rolled her eyes, as a scowl emerged on her face.  She was fed up with being compared to that evil, soon to be fat, jerk.

“No!  Cause you’re not a slutty sister.”  Jessica corrected her, as Kate’s expression reflected both her surprise and welcomed enjoyment of what Jessica had just said.

“I don’t think we should be suggesting..”  Lara began, as Jessica wasn’t having it.

“We have some slutty sisters, I’m not judging them, every sorority has them, but it’s true.”  Jessica burst in such a way that all could know she truly meant it, “But you’re not one of them Kate.”

“Thank you Jessica, that’s actually..  Thanks.”  Kate nodded genuinely happy Jessica wasn’t comparing her to Mia and didn’t think she was a slut.

“You’re welcome.”  Jessica smiled, as Kate felt a rumble in her stomach.  All this gossip and nerves were playing hell with her appetite.

“I’m gonna grab a hot dog.  Do you guys want anything from the concession stand?”  Kate offered feeling generous.

       “I’ll have one.”  Lara smiled.

“Me too.”  Jessica chirped, as she added, “Thanks Kate!”

“No problem, I’m starving anyway.”  Kate admitted, as she looked to see that the Warriors still had the ball, and then squeezed by her friends to begin the trek to quell her hunger with some savory junk food.

Volume 1:  Chapter 15- Word on the Street

The walk down the bleachers was uneventful enough, Kate had to bump into a few people at the base of the school’s stadium, but she eventually made her way out of the crowd and escaped to the back of the stadium where the concession stand resided.  Kate knew she had chosen the right time to grab some food once she got a look of the line in front of the concession stand.  It was positively minuscule.  A few minutes from now once the second quarter ended everyone would probably flood the place trying to get something convenient to eat before the final half of the game started up.  Today seemed to be Kate’s lucky day.

Mia was a no-show so far; Kate couldn’t complain about that.  Jay had just kicked his first field goal of the game.  Jessica had paid her a welcome complement.  Frankly she was just feeling really relaxed and was enjoying herself.  Once she got something to eat she really wouldn’t have anything to complain about..  Although..  Even though Jessica made a compelling argument, she wondered if Jay knew anything about this sorority bingo business.  He’d never brought it up before, but that didn’t mean he didn’t know anything about it.  She trusted him, but she’d really only just met the guy a few weeks ago, how well did she truly know him?

As Kate idled in her own thoughts for a little while, she trudged into the back of the line and waited her turn.  It didn’t take too long for her to finally make her order.  She ordered four large hot dogs.  She’d promised to get one for both Lara and Jessica, and she’d intended to only get one for herself, but standing in line and smelling the food up close tempted her a little too much.  She was hungry and she had a right to be.  She ate a nice breakfast, a bagel and eggs, but then she’d been on her feet at the tailgate with her friends for so long..  She was feeling a little low on energy.  So, an extra hot dog wouldn’t hurt.  Besides, she’d eat it before returning to the stand, that way nobody would know she indulged a little bit extra today.

The second she finished paying for her meal and was handed her hot dogs, Kate grabbed some mustard and distanced herself from the concession stand.  Her hands were full, but she was confident she could vanquish her extra hot dog without dropping the other.  The first bite was heavenly.  There was something about fresh air and hot dogs that just went so well together.  Even if the rain was misting a little bit, it wasn’t like her meal had gotten moist.

Kate drifted off into her own little world as she ate.  She kinda zoned out.  Her mind was somewhere else today.  There was simply too much going on to keep track of everything.  Her business with Mia was becoming exhausting.  Things with Jay were becoming exciting.  And her friends, well they weren’t so bad after all.  At least when Mia wasn’t around.

“Kate?”  A mousey voice echoed from behind the big breasted blonde.

Kate hardly had time to sloppily stuff the last bite of her first hot dog into her mouth before turning around and recognizing Hannah Farrell looking poised to address her.  Hannah was easy to recognize.  She was short, even shorter than Jessica which was saying something.  She probably only stood about 5’0 and weighed roughly 100 pounds or so.  She had curvy hips, but not much of a butt and practically nothing in the way of breasts.  Hannah had a pretty face and kept her brown hair pretty short for a girl.  Kate knew Mia hated Hannah with a burning passion, but Kate wasn’t exactly sure why.  She knew they were friendly briefly during freshman year, but then they’d been at each other’s throats ever since.

Kate certainly wasn’t on bad terms with Hannah, but she’d be hard pressed to say they were anything more than acquaintances.  She was instantly curious why the girl looked to want to talk to her, so she made her mouth move into overdrive to chew the last of her first hot dog.  Unfortunately, she was taking a bit too long to respond so Kate stalled for time by acknowledging Hannah’s presence with a trite hum and nod.

Hannah was almost at a loss for words at what she was seeing.  Kate was always impressive in the ‘looks’ department at the University, but she wasn’t looking so hot today.  Not only was she wearing an absolutely dreadful brown sweat suit, she appeared well and truly oversized for the outfit.  At 5’7, Kate was naturally gifted as a busty girl.  She had large perky breasts, much larger than any of her peers of the same height and weight..  But that was just it..  Her chest wasn’t the only area where Kate appeared a bit too large for her outfit.

The formfitting attire revealed thighs which appeared to have thickened with some fat, a gut that looked more substantial than what it would be if Kate was merely bloated, and then there was Kate’s ass, which Hannah had seen a mile away.  She almost mistook it for Mia’s round rump, almost.  That’s how big it looked, although the extra weight in Kate’s ass rested a little lower in her cheeks than it did on Mia’s.

Noticing Kate swallow the last of her first hot dog, Hannah finally managed to put her words together, and they were frankly words of concern, “Hey, how are you doing?  You okay?”

“Yeah why?”  Kate responded looking confused.  Hannah tried not to ogle, but the difference up close was obvious, even though Kate’s face appeared virtually unchanged, apart from an ever-so-slightly softened jawline, it was obvious she’d gained more than a little weight.  She was pudgy!  And not just her fat tits, her hourglass figure had filled out practically all over.  With the exception of her slender face and arms, Kate looked like a new woman.  An overfed woman.

“Idk, I feel like ordering four greasy concession stand hot dogs is kinda a cry for help.”  Hannah pointed out, as Kate tried to laugh off Hannah’s incorrect observation.

“I’m only having the one, the others are for Jessica and Lara.”  Kate responded a bit defensively.

“Oh?  I just saw Mia eating one and assumed that your crew had already eaten.”  Hannah explained.

“Mia’s here?”  Kate tilted her head in curiosity, as she glanced over her shoulder and scanned her surroundings.

“It’s understandable that you missed her, she’s only parading around in her poncho showing off her boy-toy to anyone who’ll give her a second of attention.”  Hannah sarcastically responded, while she appeared to be venting some frustration.

“Umm-hmm, that’s certainly her style.”  Kate acknowledged.  She certainly didn’t approve of how Mia liked to shove her perfection in everyone’s face.

“You should have seen her deep throating that hot dog down her slutty throat.  It looked like she’s been practicing sticking big wieners in her mouth.”  Hannah gossiped in a disparaging way that Kate couldn’t help but garner some enjoyment from.

“Hahaha,” Kate giggled.  She was in agreement with Hannah’s annoyance with Mia, more so than the point of her remarks.

“Still though.  It’s not fair she eats like crap all the time and still look like a perfect preppy gym bunny!  I don’t know where she puts it all.”  Hannah jealously vented, as the agreement she saw in Kate’s facial expression convinced her to continue, “seriously if I ate like her I’d be overweight in no time.  It’s like when she eats the calories just vanish.  Why is that?”

“Good genetics.”  Kate regretfully admitted, while she decided to add in a more devious tone, “But don’t worry.  It will catch up with her sooner or later.  Nobody’s metabolism is that crazy good.  Look at that humongous butt of hers, she’s not perfect.  If you ask me, her ass is looking thicker than usual and that’s saying something.”

“You think so?  Serves her right.”  Hannah sighed, as she looked at Kate and continued, “I feel like she’s a fat girl in a skinny girl’s body.”

“Haha, you know it’s funny, I was thinking the same thing!  I’d give my left arm to see Mia with a legitimate spare tire.  Then she wouldn’t act all high and mighty anymore.”  Kate said, as she let go of her restraint and let some of the steam she’d built up toward Mia simmer to the surface.

“Right?!”  Hannah nodded in agreement, as she paused.  She appeared to be weighing something in her mind, but clearly, she decided it was appropriate to talk about.  Looking as gossip starved as Jessica had earlier, Hannah began, “Did you hear?”

“About sorority bingo?”  Kate guessed, while Hannah’s disappointed expression told her that her instincts had been correct.  Kate proudly smiled, “Yeah, I’m in the loop.”

“Can you believe Mia got her own spot on the board??”  Hannah nearly spat in jealousy, as Kate’s smile vanished and what remained on her face was pure curiosity.

“What?”  Kate questioned biting her lip in anticipation.  Was this how Jessica always felt when she was digging into finding out about who was sleeping with who?

“Oh, you didn’t hear this?”  Hannah smiled looking pleased.

“No.  Mia is her own spot??”  Kate pushed for Hannah to elaborate.

“She’s the spot in the very center of the sorority bingo board.”  Hannah slowly revealed with disgust overflowing with every word.

“Do you know that for sure?  Who told you this?”  Kate wondered trying to gauge how trustworthy this information was.

“Nobody told me.  I saw one of the bingo boards myself last night.”  Hannah revealed, as Kate understood that meant somebody must have slept with Hannah to check off a bingo category.

“Wait, are you in a sorority?”  Kate wondered not remembering.

“I’m on the dance team.”  Hannah proudly reminded her, while Kate didn’t seem convinced.

“That’s a club team.”  Kate responded a bit unenthusiastically.

“Doesn’t matter, we are still on the board!”  Hannah countered with some protest in her voice.

“Alright, that’s cool or whatever.  Why is Mia in the center of the board?”  Kate dismissed whatever attitude she was getting from Hannah right now to try and keep the conversation relevant to what she was interested in.

“Who knows?  Maybe word is out that she’ll sleep with anyone who gives her attention.”  Hannah vindictively spat, as she paused before thoughtfully adding, “At least I finally know why Trent keeps hanging around her.  He’ll probably dump her b*tchy ass once he gets her to sign off that she slept with him.”

“Sign off?”  Kate questioned in confusion.

“Haha, so much for being in the loop.  The guys can only cross off a category if the girl they have sex with personally signs her name on the board as confirmation.”  Hannah revealed.

“Huh, I didn’t think..”  Kate began to add, as Hannah cut her off.

“Shh!  Sh*t.  Speak of the devil.”  Hannah whispered, as Kate turned around and felt a flutter of butterflies next to the hot dog she’d just put in her rotund stomach.

Mia was strutting toward them at a top speed.  Kate could see Mia was wearing a plain pair of tennis shoes and a not too impressive pair of jeans.  Her entire upper body was covered in a dark blue, expensive looking poncho.  She wasn’t wearing her hood however, and her long jet-black hair looked quite damp from the on and off rain the day had been producing.

Feeling like she’d been caught red handed conversing with the enemy, Kate didn’t know what to say.  However, Hannah didn’t seem to be as shy and quickly greeted Mia once she was well within earshot, “Hello Mia.  One wiener wasn’t enough huh?  You gonna beg Kate for one?”

“Twinkle Twinkle little slut, name a guy you haven't f*cked, was he skinny, was he tall, nevermind you f*cked them all.  Hahahaha,” Mia loudly sang and laughed, drawing attention to the pipsqueak of a girl standing in opposition to her.  Mia didn’t stop walking until she was well within Hannah’s space and looking down on her.  Up close Mia’s six-inch height advantage really aided in her attempt to intimidate her lesser foe, “Now, scurry out of here you little hoe before I step on you.”

“Do you always have to be a total b*tch?”  Hannah grunted, while she took a step backward and Mia took one step closer.

“Does your chest always have to be as flat as a landing strip?”  Mia teased, as Hannah seemed to be off balance.

“You know what.  At least my ass isn’t fat.”  Hannah spat trying to find a chink in Mia’s stoic faced armor.

“Ha!  You’re just jealous cause your ass is as flat as a pancake.  You’ve got nothing for boys to grab onto, that’s why they keep letting you go.”  Mia meanly spoke with a forceful poke to Hannah’s chest.

Kate was just watching this play out, she didn’t want any of what she was witnessing take place.  It looked like Hannah was contemplating the merits of socking Mia with a fist right then and there.  Unfortunately, she was definitely physically outmatched by Mia if their little bickering contest ever evolved into something more physical.  It looked like Hannah was at her wits end, she’d tried to draw blood, but Mia wasn’t giving her anything to fight back with.

“I’m serious.  You should consider losing some weight off that bum if you’re gonna keep being a spoiled b*tch all the time.  Trent probably only puts up with you cause he likes the way you look.  If your ass gets much fatter, I’m sure he’d drop you like a pancake!”  Hannah growled in desperation, as her spirits dropped upon the realization that her words weren’t even causing a so much as a dent in Mia’s bravado.  The last swipe Hannah could think to say was the final words she uttered with venom, “Unless he’s just porking you for the bingo.”

Mia appeared more confused than insulted.  Kate figured she must not have heard.  Mia had been hanging around with Trent and his friends over the past week, so it wasn’t too surprising she wasn’t in the gossip loop.  Either way, Mia’s response to Hannah was savage, “It’s probably a foreign concept to you, so you might not even get this.  Unlike the guys you sleep with, Trent doesn’t just want me late at night after a party.  He wants me when I wake up.  He wants me on my good days and even the bad.  He wants me all the time because he loves being with me.  I’m sorry you’ll never know what that feels like.”

“I hope you choke on your next hot dog.”  Hannah huffed, as she turned to retreat.  She’d had enough of this abuse.  She’d look for relief somewhere else.  However, before she made her escape, she blurted, “Some friend you have there Kate.”

Kate didn’t really disagree with Hannah on that.  Mia had a side of her that was as ruthless as it was cruel.  That was precisely the beast Kate was intending to slay with her sabotage plan.  If she pulled the rug out from Mia’s popularity, the undisputed source of her considerable social power on campus, things would be better for everyone.  Well..  maybe not Mia, but for everyone else.

“Woah she’s pissed!  Did you see that?”  Mia remarked, as her tone returned to something more normal for her.

“Yeah, I’m not surprised.  That was brutal Mia.  What’s wrong with you?”  Kate questioned, as Mia sent Kate a disapproving glare.

“It’s what she gets.  She’s always saying sh*t and spreading rubbish lies about me.” Mia blurted to justify her hateful behavior.  In truth, Hannah throwing the normal shade against her was not her concern.  It was the fact that she’d seemed so cozy talking to Kate.

A small, but noticeable silence lingered between the housemates, as Kate adjusted her grip to hold her three hot dogs a bit more comfortably.  The movement seemed to spur Mia into action.  She took an uppity breath and began her line of questioning.

“So, what were you talking about with her?”  Mia demanded to know, as she crossed her arms and glared her almond-brown eyes into the depths of Kate’s soul.  When Mia’s arms met just under her modest bust, it made the round potbelly she was hiding under the loose poncho become clearly visible.  Maybe people would notice Mia was getting fat if she wore more revealing clothes in public!  It had been a few weeks since Mia had shown her face at a party, she’d been spending all her time behind bedroom doors f*cking Trent so nobody could really know she was turning into a pampered pudgy princess.

“Nothing much.  Sorority bingo.”  Kate hurriedly responded trying to sound completely truthful but skipping over the part where they were specifically bad-mouthing Mia behind her back.

“What’s all this talk about bingo all of a sudden?  Is it an event or something we have to do?”  Mia wondered, as Kate recalled thinking the same thing when Jessica had informed her.

“No,” Kate shook her head before filling Mia in, “Sorority bingo is a bingo game the frats and men’s sports teams are apparently playing.  Except unlike regular bingo they only get to mark off a box when they’ve slept with a girl from a sorority or women’s sports team that has a category on their custom bingo board.  And word on the street is, you’ve got your own category on the board.”

“What??”  Mia loudly questioned, as she fiercely raised an eyebrow at her pudgy blonde friend.  Kate felt a flutter in her nerves, but she dug deep to remain composed.  Thinking fast, she decided to use her knowledge to her advantage.

“Turns out you’re the most sought-after girl in school.  Don’t let it go to your head.”  Kate explained in a flattering tone, as Mia seemed skeptical.

“I mean that’s kind of cool, but also kind of sick.”  Mia admitted, as she failed to contain a pleased grin.  Thinking a moment more, Kate watched as Mia’s train of thought echoed what the crew had discussed earlier, “Is that why guys have been so obsessive with us at parties this year?”

“I think so.”  Kate nodded, as she watched Mia go deeper into thought.  In a moment it appeared like Mia’s self-admiration vanished and, in its place, stood something else.

“So..”  Mia hummed apparently looking annoyed for some reason, “Hannah was saying Trent’s only dating me so he can get a leg up in that stupid game?”

“Hmhm, bingo.”  Kate laughed at her own light-hearted response.

“Shut up, it’s not funny.”  Mia quickly growled, as she appeared unhappy.  Maybe it was the fact she had been so slow to understand Hannah’s final insult, or perhaps as Kate sensed, Mia was suddenly dealing with some real doubt about Trent’s interest in her.

“Lighten up.”  Kate sighed trying to show she meant no harm by her little joke.

“F*ck you and F*ck Hannah.”  Mia spat looking pissed off now, “Did you talk about anything else with your new bestie?”

“She did want to know where we were partying later.”  Kate lied trying to get Mia off the subject of sorority bingo for now.  Clearly something about the whole thing bothered Mia, but this wasn’t the time and place to throw it in her face.

“What did you tell her?”  Mia insisted impatiently.

“I told her we were gonna go to the frats.  She said she was going to the football house.”  Kate continued her fib, as Mia appeared to buy it.

“Next time give her a lie.  I don’t wanna bump into that b*tch more than I have to already.  Although, I guess it won’t matter tonight.  Trent and I have plans.”  Mia snobbishly revealed to her blonde bimbo of a backstabbing friend.

“At his place?  Again?”  Kate clarified wanting to make sure she’d have the house to herself tonight to share with Jay.  It was obvious Mia was trying to make her jealous, but it wasn’t going to work this time.  In fact, maybe it was time Kate gave Mia a taste of her own medicine.

“Yeah, why?”  Mia responded looking surprised by Kate’s choice of words.

“Why don’t you two ever stay at our place?”  Kate judgingly wondered, “Is your room too girly for Trent?”

“Trent doesn’t have a say in the matter.” Mia responded resolutely, while she continued talking in a snobbish manner, “I wouldn’t want us keeping you up EVERY night.  So, you’re welcome.”

“Haha, lucky me.”  Kate smiled, as Mia looked annoyed, she hadn’t gotten a rise out of her.

Gritting her teeth in frustration, Mia grunted vindictively, “You have mustard on your chest.”

“Do I?”  Kate innocently muttered, as she looked down and spotted that a drop of the stuff had fallen right upon the exposed cleavage of her left breast.  She was a little embarrassed she hadn’t noticed, but she wasn’t going to let Mia’s little mean nitpickings spoil her mood.  Instead of losing her cool, Kate played it off cheerfully, “Crud, would you mind holding these while I wipe it off?”

“Sure.”  Mia grunted reluctantly, as Kate handed her the three hot dogs.

As Kate began using a napkin to clean herself up, she decided to return fire in a subtle way.  Mia didn’t need to be such a little b*tch about everything.  It was time to retaliate.  Talking a calm breath, she laid her trap slyly, “Don’t you hate when this happens?”

“Hmm?  I’m not a slob.  I don’t spill food on my tits when I eat.”  Mia spat in a superior and scathing tone, but Kate had expected Mia to lash out and she was prepared to respond this time in kind.

“Neither do I.”  Kate innocently replied, as she let loose with her true dig against Mia, “I guess it’s just a busty girl problem.  You wouldn’t understand.”

Looking into Mia’s eyes, Kate could tell her witty dig had penetrated Mia’s defenses.  The sorority princess looked pissed!  It was true, Kate would always have Mia beat in the bust department and Mia obviously wasn’t pleased about it.

Recovering as best she could, Mia judgingly pointed out, “You missed a spot, unless you’re saving it for later.”

“What?  Where?”  Kate responded in confusion, while she looked down at her bust again and tried to see if she missed a spot.  Was Mia blind?  Or was there a spot of mustered that had gotten onto her sweatshirt?  When Kate looked up to ask Mia to clarify, she was a little surprised to see her friend had vanished.  Looking left and looking to the right, Kate couldn’t tell where Mia had gotten off to.  There were too many people approaching the concession stand, she’d blended into the crowd somewhere.

Had she pissed Mia off enough with that underhanded comment that Mia had really just ditched her like that?  Wait, did she just out fox Mia in a war of words??  She had, hadn’t she??!!

Kate was pretty pleased with herself for a few fleeting moments, until she decided it was time to return to the stands.  That’s when she remembered she was empty handed.  Looking on the ground around her, Kate could feel the frustration boiling up inside her.

Mia had just f*cking walked off with all THREE of her hot dogs!  Kate looked toward the line she’d waited in to get them a few minutes ago and was pissed to realize it had nearly doubled in size as it had gotten closer to halftime.  She’d have to waste even more time to get Jessica and Lara the hot dogs she’d promised..  F*cking Mia!!  She couldn’t even let Kate savor this little victory.  She’d pay for this!  From now on, Kate was done playing nice..

Volume 1:  Chapter 16- Powers of Persuasion

If only Kate could see herself through Mia’s eyes, she’d see how positively foolish she looked.  She was pointlessly searching her bountiful bust for the second drop of spilled mustered that Mia had completely lied about.  With the gullible blonde momentarily distracted, Mia’s escape was seamless.  She quietly backed up behind a few people and swiftly walked off behind the crowd amassing near the concession stand.  The second quarter of the football game was nearing its end and people were trying to beat the rush at halftime.  Turning the corner of the stadium, Mia relaxed knowing her exit had gone undetected by the dumb blonde.  She was now alone to enjoy a hot dog, or two, that she’d just artfully liberated from Kate’s possession.

As much as Mia hated parting that blonde piggy from her daily dose of pork, she couldn’t pass up such a good chance to get even.  Kate had disrespected her, and this was the warranted consequence.  Mia’s sense of righteousness couldn’t just let such brash insubordination pass without prompt retaliation.  Not only had Kate been groveling with the enemy behind her back, she was outright challenging her authority, albeit in a subtle way.  This certainly wasn’t the first time Kate lauded her naturally well-endowed breasts over Mia’s more modest bust, but it was the first time she’d done so in such an underhanded way.  Kate wasn’t usually so subtle.  Facts were facts, Kate had larger boobs than her and probably always would, Mia wasn’t upset about the facts.  She was upset that Kate seemed to imply she was better than her because of it.

Kate was not better than her.  Not by a long shot.  Mia tried to let her temper cool, so she took a bite of one of the three hot dogs she’d lifted from Kate’s possession.  The simpleton didn’t even know the right way to furnish a hot dog.  Everybody knew a hot dog needed some relish and some minced onions on separate sides of the buns before any mustard could be sloppily lathered on top.  As she chewed the mediocre hot dog, Mia toyed with the idea of tossing the dang thing in the trash can.  However, she was hungry and didn’t want to be wasteful.

The problem was that the taste in her mouth was not what she’d imagined when she’d taken them from her friend.  Mia had gotten a late start to the day thanks to Trent in the morning and hadn’t gotten any breakfast.  She’d been quick to eat a proper hot dog when she’d arrived at the stadium with Trent, but it had done little to dull her morning hunger.  She required something of substance to really properly fuel herself for the day and she was pretty sure she wasn’t going to get that kind of nourishment from any amount of concession stand hot dogs.

Looking at her current hot dog with a bit of disappointment, Mia decided that beggars couldn’t be choosers.  She’d order a more robust dinner to share with Trent later.  Until then, the hot dogs would have to be enough to hold her over.  They certainly were not a healthy food option, but Mia wasn’t really concerned about that.  Not anymore.  She could afford to eat like garbage for the time being.  She knew she’d been neglecting her gym time in order to indulge her sexual appetite with Trent for a few weeks prior to this last one, but she’d brilliantly figured out a way to fit some gym time into her weekly schedule.  She’d started earlier this week and she was already reaping the benefits.

It happened on Monday, she was running late for class and Jessica’s comments, about how tight her jeans appeared to be fitting recently, were still bumbling around in her head.  She contemplated announcing to Kate that she was going to go on a ‘diet’, aka ‘not wearing her fake belly anymore,’ but she valued distracting Kate from her own gain more than she did appeasing Jessica’s judgment.  That’s when the perfect idea hit her.  Why not skip class in favor of the gym?  She wasn’t really learning anything anyway this semester so far.  All of her classes just involved refining her already immaculate common sense.  Was there any harm in e-mailing her professors, claiming to be sick and giving herself the time she needed to sweat herself back into her skinny jeans?

There certainly hadn’t been any harm or consequence from doing just that.  Well, except for the fact it hadn’t even taken a full week of secret gym visits before Mia was fitting back into the smallest sizes of her jeans.  Admittedly, her smallest sized pairs of jeans were fitting very tightly, but what mattered was that they fit.  Her more regular sized pairs felt even better, all of the ones she tried on fit far more comfortably than they had a week prior.  Mia still liked wearing the tight stuff around Kate to make it look like she’d been porking out, but Mia was finally at peace with her own unwarranted body image worries.  She pitied the girls who spent months in the gym and didn’t see any results.  She’d seen results after five days!  Ha!

Polishing off the last of her first hot dog, Mia walked away from the stands and toward the fence blocking off the infield.  Trent was on the other side of the stadium talking with some friends.  He was probably bored to death without her company.  So, Mia decided to head back to him.  She didn’t know where her own friends were sitting, but she wasn’t planning on searching for them and saying hello like she was desperate for their companionship or something.  Maybe she’d run into them before midterms next week, maybe she wouldn’t.  They’d annoyed her recently, especially Kate and Jessica, so she wasn’t eager to reward them with her presence.

Even the passing thought of Kate sent a small wave of frustration reverberating across Mia’s body.  What had she said again?  Sorority bingo?  What a dumb sounding game.  Of course, Hannah had suggested that Trent was only dating her, so he’d be able to check off a box in that stupid game.  What bullsh*t.  Even if the game was exactly what Kate described.  Trent would never date her for such a shallow reason.  He was in love with her.  She could feel it.  She knew most of their time together recently had been spent enjoying each other’s company in more of a physical capacity than an emotional one, but that didn’t mean the emotion wasn’t there.  They had a passion for each other Mia hadn’t felt since..  Well, since a long time ago.

Besides, it didn’t matter what Hannah thought.  That girl was a no-class slut, who was just jealous of the considerable pull Mia commanded on campus.  Trent was head over heels for her and that was all that mattered.  Nothing anyone could say would make her think differently.  Certainly not stupid, fat Kate.

Mia’s swollen rival had developed quite the little weight problem even if she didn’t fully realize it yet.  Maybe that’s why Kate still had the nerve to try Mia’s patience.  It seemed the busty blonde wasn’t just growing big thighs, a big butt, a big gut, and even bigger tits, she was getting a big head.  For someone so pudgy, Kate certainly retained an overly high opinion of herself.  Mia almost couldn’t wrap her head around it.  However, she knew the reason for Kate’s defiance, and ignorance of her own sizable weight gain.  It lay in Kate’s fixation on fattening Mia up.  Mia was playing the part of the helpless, and ravenous damsel very well.  She was wearing the fake belly every time Kate got a look at her and wearing tight clothes that gave off the impression that she was thickening up.  Kate thought her plan was working, that’s why she was getting a little cocky.

Maybe it was overdue for Mia to burst Kate’s bubble?  Besides, Mia was getting quite bored with having to wear the stupid fake belly everywhere.  She’d ordered a more convincing one online, but it wouldn’t arrive for two weeks.  Mia pondered if it wasn’t just better to give up the game now and rub Kate’s nose into the pile of her failure.

She had told Trent ‘project belly’ would be done by her sociology midterm.  And again, if Jessica noticed Mia’s larger looking appearance, it was possible others could catch on soon.  Mia certainly didn’t want word getting out she’d let herself go like a lazy porker.  She was walking a fine line and she didn’t want to land flat on her face.  If she wasn’t wearing such a big poncho today, she probably wouldn’t have worn the fake belly to the game.  It was very hard to spot her fake little bump under the flowing garment, but she knew Kate would notice.  It was the type of thing you wouldn’t notice unless you were specifically looking for it.

“Oof..”  Mia muttered, as she nearly dropped one of her two remaining hot dogs while bumping into someone crossing her path.  She was about to spit fire at whoever the fat sports fan was who had stupidly gotten in her way, until she recognized him.  Wiping aside her patented ‘b*tch face,’ Mia sent the big guy a sweet smile and did her best to sound apologetic and ditzy, “Oh, Brian I’m so sorry!  I’m such a klutz!  I wasn’t looking where I was going.”

“It’s all good.  You okay?”  Brian asked, as Mia could sense Brian’s concern, but not the usual excitement he displayed when seeing her.

“Better than okay, I was hoping I’d run into you.”  Mia cheerfully hummed, as she tilted her head upward to look in Brian’s eyes.

“You were?”  Brian responded sounding doubtful.

“Yeah!  Want a hot dog?  I bought an extra.”  Mia offered, as she held out one of Kate’s hot dogs for the big guy to take.

“Sure, thanks.”  Brian skeptically accepted, as Mia gave him the hot dog and he paused before asking, “You doing okay?  I haven’t seen you in class..”

“I’m feeling okay I guess..  I was sick all last week.  Speaking of which..”  Mia slowed her speech to try and convey some sincerity, “I need to borrow your notes to study for midterms.  Would that be too much trouble?”

“Umm, haha, well I kinda need them for studying too.”  Brian managed to say much to Mia’s disappointment.

“You’re smart, I bet you could pass without studying.”  Mia countered, as she did her best to maintain her levelheaded tone of voice.  She was trying to be sweet, but Brian wasn’t responding how she’d imagined.  What was his problem?  Normally he’d jump to help her out in any way possible.  Did she not look good in this poncho or something?

“Maybe, but I’d still prefer to study.”  Brian reaffirmed, as he tried to offer Mia a middle ground, “I know, why don’t we study together?  I could catch you up on everything you missed.”

“I don’t know, *cough* *cough* I think I’m still a little sick, I’d feel bad if I infected you.”  Mia acted superbly, continuing, “What if you dropped off your notes at my place whenever you finish studying?”

“Umm, sure I could do that.”  Brian relented sounding as disappointed as he looked.

“Thanks a million.”  Mia chirped, as she took a step toward Brian with her arms extended only to quickly stop herself, resume her previous posture and explain, “I’d give you a hug, but I don’t wanna..”

“Get me sick.  Yeah, I got it.”  Brian nodded, as he started walking past her.

“If you want some money I could pay you for..”  Mia tried to add, as Brian shook his head.

“I don’t want your money. It’s really no problem.”  Brian sighed, as Mia felt a little guilt building up in the depts of her stomach.

“Awe, you’re a life saver.  Thank you so much!”  Mia enthused, while she was briefly unable to censor herself because of Brian’s kindness, “Next time we run into each other at a party.  We should dance.”

“Would your boyfriend be okay with that?”  Brian quickly responded in a way that stopped Mia in her tracks for a moment.

“Ha..  Oh, Trent?”  Mia regrouped, “Yeah he lets me do whatever I want.  Don’t worry about it.”

“Cool.  Next time then.”  Brian waved goodbye, as he resumed his trek away from Mia.

“Are you.. doing okay Brian?”  Mia asked with a true sincerity that Brian hadn’t heard in her voice since she started talking to him, “You don’t seem like yourself.”

“I’m fine.  Thanks for asking.”  Brian graciously nodded, as he looked at the hot dog he was holding in his hand and appeared conflicted, “I’m actually not that hungry, you can have your hot dog back.”

“Okay.”  Mia responded, as she accepted Kate’s hot dog back from Brian and watched him lumber away.

How strange?  Brian almost seemed like a different person today, not the happy-go-lucky fellow she’d become familiar with.  She hoped everything was alright with him and his family, but she knew it wasn’t really her place to pry.  Instead, she tried not to dwell on whatever was going on with him for too long.  Brian was a reliable dude.  He’d come through on those notes and that was all Mia needed to pass her midterm next week.

Answering the slight rumble of hunger in her tummy with a fresh bite of the hot dog Brian had returned to her, Mia took her time in returning to Trent.  She wondered a bit about what was going on with Brian, she looked at the players breaking for halftime, she did her best to bypass the crowd of fans exiting the stands to stretch their legs, and she finished her second of Kate’s hot dogs in quick fashion.  Her hunger had been abated for the moment, although she doubted that two feeble hot dogs would be able to hold her till dinner.  She weighed the merits of tossing the last hot dog or eating it.  On the one hand, it wasn’t very good.  On the other, if she ate it, she wouldn’t risk getting hangry around Trent.  So, even though she wasn’t really starving for it, she ate the third hot dogs anyway.

For the first time all day, Mia felt full.  So, it was no surprise she wanted to sit down and give her legs a rest.  She’d scorched her leg muscles in the gym this week and she’d worked out the rest of her body in bed with Trent.  She deserved a lazy day for recovery, and this was going to be it.

Waving to Trent sweetly, while she approached and made eye contact with him, Mia was quick to wrap her hands around one of her lover’s manly arms, lead him away from his friends, and find a spot in the stands for the two of them to sit alone together in relative privacy.  Once they sat down, Mia let go of Trent’s arm and scooted her booty closer to him.  Once her hips made contact with his, Mia turned her beautiful face toward him and smiled.  He seemed impressed.

“What took you so long?”  Trent asked, as Mia snapped out of her daze and came to attention.

“I was gabbing with friends.”  Mia rationally conveyed in a nonchalant manner.

“Talk about anything interesting?”  Trent pried, as his eyes studied how damp Mia’s hair had gotten from the misting weather.  She looked hot, almost like she did after shower sex.

“No.  How’s the game been?”  Mia tilted her eyes toward the field and wondered in a covert effort to lead the conversation in a different direction.

“Actually, not bad.”  Trent admitted.  He wasn’t the biggest football fan, but he’d never pass on watching a game with friends.  As far as the university’s game today, it was a back and forth barnburner.

“I’m glad you’re having fun.”  Mia warmly smiled, as she grabbed Trent’s hand and squeezed him.  He felt a little cold, but she’d warm him up.  Continuing with some appreciative enthusiasm, Mia hummed, “We should do stuff like this more often.”

Trent returned her smile, leaned his manly mouth close to her ear and whispered, “I’d like that.”

Mia already had tingles going down her spine from the feel of Trent’s breath against her skin, but then he punctuated his words by using his teeth to give her a quick and frisky nibble on her earlobe, earring and all.  Tingling all over, Mia simply cooed, “Ouuu?  Someone’s horny.”

“You make me horny every time I look at you.”  Trent admitted, as he pulled his face back to an appropriate distance and watched Mia’s eyes become glued to his own.  She was fighting a smile that was breaking out despite her best efforts.

“Hey, save it for later.  I don’t want people watching.”  Mia weakly chastised Trent, as it was overly clear that she enjoyed hearing him talk like that.

“Fine.  You wanna head over to my place?  The guys are going to start pregaming soon, but we could squeeze a little something in if we hurry.”  Trent proposed, as Mia seemed reluctant to accept his offer this time.

“It’s only halftime.  I wanted to stay till the end of the game.” Mia admitted, as she squeezed his hand and continued, “I thought you said you were enjoying the game?”

“I am, but I don’t really care about the game.  I’d rather be alone with you right now.”  Trent honestly admitted, as he squeezed Mia’s hand in return and maintained his lustful eye contact.  When they were sitting down, he didn’t quite tower over her like he did when they were standing up.  It was a little disorienting that Mia seemed taller whenever she was sitting down, but Trent knew her thick bubble-butt contained enough womanly padding to explain the discrepancy.  His mind briefly lingered on whether or not he should try friskily pinching one of her firm and full buns, while Mia started responding to him.

“That’s sweet, but..”  Mia began, as she adjusted herself in her seat, leaning backward slightly.  The motion made the round ball she was keeping under her shirt press against the front of her poncho.  Trent had almost forgotten Mia was wearing that stupid beachball under her pretty poncho, until now.  It looked like his girlfriend had a f*cking round gut.

“You’re still wearing that dumb beachball?”  Trent voiced unable to keep his thoughts to himself.  He didn’t want people thinking he’d knocked his girlfriend up.

“Last time, I promise.  I’ll turn in my paper this week and then I’ll be done with it.”  Mia assured him, as she shifted her poncho forward to conceal her fake belly.

“Good, it makes you look pregnant.”  Trent teased, as he nudged the ball with his elbow.

“Does not.”  Mia growled, as she let go of Trent’s hand so she could readjust the prop back into its proper place.

“You’re not going to wear it tonight, are you?”  Trent asked, as Mia seemed unsure of how to answer that.

“Maybe.  Why?”  Mia wondered, as Trent shrugged.

“Cause I don’t want people thinking I knocked you up or something.”  Trent explained, as Mia felt a flutter of nerves in the pit of her stomach.  It was embarrassing Trent was accusing her of looking pregnant with her fake belly on.  She didn’t look pregnant, she looked like she had a little belly, and that was it.  She wanted to argue with him, but she knew better than to start something when they’d been enjoying their time together like this.

“Fair point.  I wouldn’t want that either.”  Mia conceded, while she metaphorically bit her tongue.

“Good, so, I was talking to the guys when you were up.  We are thinking of throwing a party at my place tonight.  We’ll set up while we pregame.”  Trent revealed, as he appeared to be trying to convince Mia of something, “So, if you think about it, we should really ditch this game and get some alone time in now when nobody’s home.”

“Your apartment is on campus.  We can’t party there.”  Mia reminded him, as she knew Trent understood her stance on this.  She’d explained it to him before.

“Oh my god, you’re not going to get in trouble.”  Trent tried to assure her.

“I’ve already had three strikes.”  Mia spat in return.

“So what?  That was freshman year.”  Trent tried to dismiss her concerns.

“I don’t think Miss Hochberg sees it that way.  One more strike and I’m in serious trouble.  That old hag could expel me.”  Mia vehemently proclaimed, as even the slightest thought of the school’s disciplinarian caused her anger to boil.

“Don’t sound so dramatic, you know that never happens.”  Trent tried to downplay Mia’s fears.

“It happens to people every semester.  It’s not a joke.”  Mia chastised Trent with a little slap to his knee.

“You just don’t wanna come.”  Trent accused, while he noticed Mia appeared irritated.

“I do, but I’d feel more comfortable going to a party off campus.”  Mia slowly and loudly articulated, “Or maybe tonight we should go on a date instead?  We haven’t done that in a while.  Just you and me.”

Trent didn’t have an immediate response.  From his perspective they were having a date right now, but apparently it didn’t count unless Mia said it counted.  Trying to pick his words more carefully, Trent began, “But my friends are..”

“Your friends are great, they are a lot of fun, but how come we always ditch my friends to hang out with your friends?”  Mia questioned in an accusatory tone.  Kate’s comments earlier had her rethinking how things normally went with Trent.

“You are more than welcome to invite your friends.”  Trent answered stoutly.  He liked Mia’s friends.  They were a good-looking group.

“They already have plans.”  Mia countered, as she couldn’t hide her slight annoyance with her boyfriend right now.

“Then what are you complaining about?”  Trent defensively responded, as he gazed into Mia’s breathtaking almond-brown eyes and tried to understand why she was acting so crazy today.

“I don’t know.  I guess I just wanna do something different tonight.  Just you and me.  Maybe once it’s dark we can take a walk by the river, or go somewhere for karaoke or.. why don’t we hang out at my place?  We’ll have plenty of privacy.  We could cuddle and watch a movie on the couch!  You could sleepover if you wanted.  You’ve never stayed over my place.”  Mia sensitively explained, as she did her best to keep her irritation under control.  She always did what Trent wanted; it was time he returned the favor.

“I don’t know.  I already told my friends that..”  Trent sighed.  He knew he’d enjoy solo time with Mia, but he’d already promised his friends that..

“I’ll make it worth your while.”  Mia whispered in Trent’s ear the same way he had done to her a little earlier.  With a swift and sexy little nibble on his ear, Mia added, “I promise.”

“You drive a hard bargain, but fine.”  Trent responded without really thinking it through.  His enjoyment of his girlfriend’s boundless sexual energy was getting the better of him.  Looking at Mia, she seemed very pleased with herself.  Not wanting to undo the progress he’d made with her mood, Trent asked, “Can we stop at my place before we go to yours?  I want to grab some things since I’m staying the night.”

“Of course!  Thanks!”  Mia gleefully smiled, while she planted a kiss on his cheek.  Her eyes lingered on Trent’s once her lips had left his face.  She could see a spark in his eyes.  She knew what that meant.

“I want you so bad right now.”  Trent admitted quietly, as his hand gently braced Mia’s knee and then slowly glided up the inside of her womanly thigh.

“Not here.  You’re turning me on.”  Mia quietly squeaked, while she grabbed Trent’s hand and stopped his momentum, she was blushing something fierce.  It was crazy how attractive he was when he made such brazen moves like this.

Undeterred, Trent decided to use his words since Mia didn’t seem to want him touching her, “If we were alone right now, I'd run my fingers slowly through your hair, and then kiss you till you begged for more.”

“Mhh!  You’re so naughty.”  Mia hummed, as Trent could tell he’d piqued her animalistic curiosity.  Sounding interested, Mia added, “Assuming I begged, what would you do next?”

“I'd put you in bed.  Massage your back while I kissed your neck.”  Trent slowly articulated, painting Mia a path to follow in her mind, “Once you truly relaxed, I’d lie next to you and trace my fingers over the soft curves of your beautiful body.”

“Ooh?  And that’s all you’d do?”  Mia raised a skeptical eyebrow, as she was feeling flutters of excitement in the pit of her full stomach.

“No.  There’s more.  A lot more.”  Trent hinted, while his other arm wrapped itself around the back of her narrow waist, “But I don’t wanna spoil the surprise.”

“Tell me.”  Mia pouted earnestly hoping to guilt Trent into continuing.  She loved when he talked to her like this.  He wasn’t always so articulate.

“You gotta ask nicely.”  Trent sweetly smiled, as Mia rolled her eyes.

“Tell me.  Please.”  Mia reluctantly rephrased, while Trent knew he had her on the hook.

“You can do better than that.”  Trent teased, as he could spy Mia’s patience running low.

“Mhh!”  Mia abruptly kissed Trent friskily on the lips and then chirped in a sexy tone, “Pretty please with sugar on top.”

“Keep talking like that, and I’ll tell you.”  Trent promised, as he calculatingly added, “Let’s get out of here, pregame with my friends a little, and then I’m sure you’ll be able to loosen my lips.”

“Fine, let’s go.”  Mia hummed content in imaging spending such a sexy night with her handsome man.  She was getting everything she wanted, what the hell did Hannah or Kate know anyway.  Idiots.  They’d both get what was coming to them in due time.

Volume 1:  Chapter 17- Kiss and Tell

“Could you really hear me?”  Kate echoed again with a tone that conveyed how pleased she was.  Awaiting Jay’s response with great interest, Kate adjusted her position on the couch so that she was cuddled up to face to face with the hero of today’s football game rather than letting him spoon her.  The TV still buzzed in the background, but both of them were now tuning it out.

“Yes,” Jay repeated with a smile.

It felt good that Kate had taken an interest in something that really consumed his whole life, it also felt good having her warm curvaceous body pressing tightly against him.  As her arms nestled themselves around his broad upper back, his arms wrapped around Kate’s lower body.  He liked to feel her hips, and her butt, just as much as he liked the feel of Kate’s large breasts pressing against his chest.  In a feminine way, she had the perfect balance of fullness and softness to her features.  However enjoyable their closeness was, he felt the need to add, “the guys on the bench were giving me crap about it.”

“Oh?  Really?”  Kate responded in a concerned surprise, “I’m so sorry.”

“Don’t be sorry.  They just wanted to know details.”  Jay clarified, as Kate stopped straining her neck trying to maintain level eye contact with him, and instead wiggled into a position where she could rest her head on his chest.  She closed her eyes, let out a deep breath, and got comfortable before she responded.  Jay could feel her soft tummy pressing against his abdomen.

“So, what did you tell them?”  Kate wondered trying to give Jay the benefit of the doubt before she assumed the worst of his locker-room talk.

“Told them it was none of their business.”  Jay answered proudly, as he felt an appreciative squeeze from Kate.

“Good man.”  Kate hummed remaining in place.  She felt so cozy right now.  Jay’s body was like a space heater, she felt completely content.  If they stayed like this for much longer, she could see herself falling asleep early tonight.

“I was wondering..  I know I twisted your arm into going.  But did you like it?”  Jay reluctantly asked, breaking Kate’s apparent tranquility.  He hoped she enjoyed the game, it certainly sounded like she was having fun when he’d heard her cheering in the stands.

“I did.”  Kate hummed quietly in response.

In truth, watching the game had been a lot of fun.  She’d enjoyed the tailgate, and her friends had been fun too.  Jessica and Lara got more into the game after halftime and their idle chatter became far less of a distraction.  Despite Mia stealing her hot dogs, Kate was able to buy some replacements before the halftime rush really spiked.

She was still mad at Mia for acting like such a jerk, but her mood was in a better place than it normally would have been thanks to Jay.  He’d made the play of the game to win it for Douglas University in overtime.  He was surely the talk of the town this weekend and he still chose to forgo any victory parties in order to hang out with her.  That meant a lot to her.  She liked everything about the game and the way this night was going.  Well, except when she saw Jay get absolutely trucked by a linebacker on one particularly uninspired play.

“Be honest.”  Jay urged Kate, as he gently pressed his hands against her hips to get a more energetic reaction out of the chesty blonde.  She seemed a little sleepy.

“I did!”  Kate burst a little louder than she meant to.  She’d perked up, arched her back and blinked her eyes back into focus.  Gazing at Jay, she assured him that, “I had fun!  Even my friends had fun.”

“Would you go again?”  Jay asked unable to hide his pleased smile.

“For sure!”  Kate enthusiastically nodded.  Her long blonde hair was still in a sport ponytail and it was positively bouncing all over the place.

“Stop joshing.”  Jay replied trying to get more of a rise out of Kate.

“I’m serious!  Football’s not so bad when you’ve got someone to cheer for.”  Kate admitted, as she tried to convince him she wasn’t just saying these things to say them.  She meant them.

“It was nice knowing you were watching.”  Jay warmly revealed, as his words motivated Kate to snuggle closer with a hug.  With the girl he was crushing on in his arms, Jay added, “It’s been weird not knowing anybody.  Back home my family would go to every game.”

“Are you feeling homesick?”  Kate responded with some concern.

“Maybe a little I guess.”  Jay acknowledged, as Kate once again released some tension in her hug and maneuvered herself so she could look at her guy.

“Well, since you liked me watching so much..  I wouldn’t mind cheering for you at your next game.”  Kate offered, while Jay raised a curious eyebrow.

“Are you okay with traveling?  The next game is on the road.”  Jay explained not wanting Kate to promise something if she didn’t fully understand what she was getting into.

“I love traveling.”  Kate assured him, while she appreciated his concern.

“Cool, then I’d like that.”  Jay smiled with a bit more cheer on his face than there had been before.

Not knowing how to respond, Kate felt herself being pulled into his embrace.  However, rather than accept the hug and continue to lazily cuddle on the couch, Kate’s eyes lingered on Jay’s lips.  He had a bit of a bruise on his lower lip.  He’d explained earlier that he’d bit his lip when he’d been tackled.  It looked a little painful, but didn’t look so bad, in fact, Kate wanted to kiss it and make it better.  So, she did.

The second her lips touched his, Kate lost touch with her surroundings.  It felt so good to connect with someone like this.  He was attractive, thoughtful, and he really cared about her.  That was the best part.  Well, it was until her tongue sneakily goaded Jay’s tongue into playing a little frisky game of tag.

Their playful passions soon slowed into something more serious.  While their lips were occupied, their hips got into the groove.  Kate zoned out feeling his arm muscles, while the football stud used them to maneuver himself over her.  They were still in their clothes, but they couldn’t help themselves.  Kate could feel his arousal and she shared his enthusiasm.

Opening her eyes, Kate was actually surprised to realize Jay was on top of her.  The fact she’d zoned out so bad was evidence that she was enjoying this.

“Wow.”  Kate instinctively murmured quietly to herself.  In the moment she realized something.  She didn’t just want to sleep with Jay later tonight.  She felt it was time for them to officially become boyfriend and girlfriend.

“’Wow’ what?”  Jay paused sensing Kate’s mind was somewhere else.

“Nothing.”  Kate’s expression tightened up.  She hadn’t meant to speak.

“Tell me.”  Jay calmly requested, as he leaned his weight off Kate so they could each sit up.

“Okay, so.. ”  Kate bite her lip.  She wanted to talk about making things official with Jay, but she couldn’t ignore an insecure thought which had suddenly just bounded into her head and wouldn’t leave, “I heard this rumor today.. and I was wondering if you’ve heard anything about it.”

“What kind of rumor?”  Jay wondered looking tentative.

“Sorority bingo.”  Kate revealed, as she looked very closely for Jay’s reaction.  His face said it all.

“Oh.”  Jay nodded not looking exceptionally surprised.

“You do know about it?!”  Kate managed to say without letting herself gasp in exacerbation.  She didn’t want to jump to conclusions.  Though her fears crept into her consciousness, she managed to stave them off for the moment and give Jay the benefit of the doubt.

“Yeah, some guys on the football team are obsessing about it.”  Jay admitted in almost a carefree sort of way.  Was this honesty or was he trying to act casual to bluff his way out of trouble?

“Are you.. you know.. in on it?”  Kate reluctantly managed to ask.  She almost didn’t want to know the answer.

“No.”  Jay promptly replied.  Thank god.

“How can I know you’re telling the truth?”  Kate blurted without even registering what she was saying until after she’d said it.  It sounded so untrusting.  It sounded so accusatory.  She hadn’t intended to sound that way at all.

Not skipping a beat and not changing his unwavering tone, Jay responded calmly, “We haven’t had sex yet have we?”

“Don’t answer my question with a question.”  Kate earnestly responded.  She wasn’t trying to be dramatic, but she knew it probably was coming off that way.  How brilliant of her to cast her retort so starkly at the boy she was hoping to start formally dating..

“Don’t you trust me?”  Jay answered with a hopeful confidence.

“Yeah, I do.  I just wanted to make sure.”  Kate blurted without hesitating, “There are a lot of rumors going around about it and I guess I..  Umm..  Well I would like… *Ahem*  Would you mind giving me the inside scoop about sorority bingo?  I just wanna know the truth, trying to keep up with the gossip is exhausting.”

“You know I could get in a lot of trouble with the team if they find out I blabbed about the game to you.”  Jay mentioned clearly considering giving Kate the information she was asking for.

“Really?”  Kate tilted her head with a curious expression on her face.  It was surprising that word about this game hadn’t gotten out sooner.

“Probably not, only like half of the guys are taking it seriously, but there will probably be some kind of hazing I’d have to put up with if they found out.”  Jay nonchalantly spoke, while Kate’s eyes widened.  She was, of course, assuming the worst.

“Hazing??  Like what kind of hazing??”  Kate worriedly questioned, as her concern for Jay showed through.

“Hazing’s probably not the right word.  But believe me, there would be some consequence.  Maybe something with drinking..”  Jay explained in an attempt to reduce Kate’s apparent alarm, “Or something embarrassing.  Like maybe a naked lap.”

“I wouldn’t mind seeing you do one of those.”  Kate admitted, while she almost immediately regretted saying that.  Why did she have to sound so stupid!  Trying to save face, Kate quickly added, “I’m sorry, that was really inappropriate.”

“Pfffft!”  Jay nearly laughed in a way that put Kate at ease for her flirtatious comment, “It’s fine.  Just don’t tell anyone you made me talk, okay?”

“Okay.”  Kate nodded, while her ponytail did another big bounce, “So, how did you guy’s decide rules?  And what are all the rules?”

“Look, I was pretty out of the loop when people were voting on it.  I have a copy of the list they sent me in a group chat if you wanna check it out.”  Jay offered, as he took out his phone, scrolled through it and then offered it to Kate.

She took it without a word, and offered a murmured ‘thanks,’ while she looked it over.  The apparently unabridged document Kate’s eyes were curiously scanning read as follows:

……………
The Game:  Winner achieves a BINGO by sleeping with enough girls from each sorority/category on the BINGO board to form five-in-a-row either diagonally, horizontally or vertically.  $20 buy in, winner takes the whole pot.

Rule 1: All previous hook-ups do not count for a BINGO space, if they occurred prior to the start of the semester.  You don’t get to fill in B-5 when you play regular BINGO just because you had it in the last game, so the same applies here.

Rule 2: Since there are not enough sororities at good old Douglas for a full 5×5 BINGO board, several other categories of acceptable hookups have been added.

Rule 3: Sleeping with a girl from the sorority written in a space and getting the girl’s signature and phone number written inside the space is what it takes to fill a space. If you cannot get that, you must still be able to prove that you had an intimate night together for the space to count. Be creative.

Rule 4: If a girl somehow falls under more than one category on the BINGO board, it is at your discretion for what you want her to count as. Keep in mind, she may only count once. Sex with her a second time is not an exception to this rule.

Rule 5: Sororities/categories from other schools count. This is what verification is for.

Rule 6: While climaxing during intercourse of the space it takes to get a BINGO you must actually yell the word “BINGO!”

Tiebreak: In the event of a tie, the next person to get laid by anyone wins.

Last (and most important) Rule: Sex must be consensual! Don’t ruin the integrity of this game!
……………..

And with that, Kate felt she had a good understanding of what the heck had been going on with the guys this semester.  Clearing her throat, Kate tried to appreciate the fact that Jay was just the messenger and that he was not playing this stupid game.  Sounding sincere, Kate began, “Okay a few things, you guys put money on this??  This is f*cked up.”

“Only guys who have bingo boards actually threw money into the pot.”  Jay corrected Kate.

“Do you have one?”  Kate wondered.

“No, I never threw money in, although I heard somewhere that the pot is close to $4000.”  Jay revealed, as Kate’s jaw dropped.

“Are you f*cking kidding me?  That’s crazy.  Guy’s really don’t have anything better to do?”  Kate burst in disillusionment.

       “I guess not.”  Jay shrugged.

“So, you don’t have a bingo board?”  Kate again asked to clarify.

       “No.”  Jay shook his head.

“Do you know if it’s true that Mia’s in the middle of the board?”  Kate inquired, as she decided to put Hannah’s information to the test.

“Yeah, she was still single when they voted on it.  People are pretty pissed she’s dating Trent.”  Jay explained, as Kate seemingly couldn’t believe it.

“Understandable.”  Kate vented, as she suddenly had to know something else.  A piece of information that she might be able to use to her advantage later, “Do you have any idea if Trent happens to be playing?”

“I don’t know if he’s taking it seriously, but yes, I heard he’s got a Bingo board.  So, he must have put money into the pot.”  Jay rationalized, as Kate seemed shocked.

“Oh-my-gawd.”  Kate burst out loud, as she needed a second to rationalize all this.  Just wait until Mia heard about this..  She’d lose her mind.

“Again, you can’t tell anyone I’m telling you these things.  The team will crucify me.”  Jay reminded her, as she seemed to snap out of whatever daydream she’d been in.

“I know..”  Kate muttered, as she felt some regret that she couldn’t just laud this over Mia.

“You okay?”  Jay asked seeing the childlike disappointment on Kate’s face.

“Yeah, I just..  I’m just glad you’re not involved with it.”  Kate articulated firmly, as she honestly admitted, “I was feeling like tonight would be the night we made things.. official.  And, now I’ve got no doubts about it.”

       “Really?”  Jay enthusiastically exclaimed.

“Yeah.”  Kate shrugged, “Besides, it was really hot seeing you in uniform..”

“If you want, I could bring my gear over next time if that’s what really does it for you.”  Jay playfully spoke in a patronizing tone.

“Haha!  No!  Don’t do that!”  Kate smiled, as she grabbed his hand and earnestly squeezed, “You do it for me.  Not just the uniform.”

“But you do like the uniform?”  Jay joked around trying to clarify, while Kate was being serious.

“Shut up about the uniform!” Kate playfully growled, as she wrapped her arms around Jay’s neck and brought him in for a kiss, “*Mhh!*  Don’t make me change my mind.”

“If you want, I won’t say a single word the rest of the night.”  Jay proclaimed in his joking tone, while a sh*t-eating grin began to escape from his face, “Oh and if I yell out ‘bingo’ when things are really getting serious, don’t worry about that.  I have a condition.”

“Haha!  I swear to God I’m going to kill you!”  Kate laughed, while she tried to tackle Jay, but he playfully fended her off.

“Haha!”  Jay laughed, as the two wrestled each other off the couch and onto the floor with a loud thump.

“Ouch!”  Kate snapped, while Jay halted his victorious position above her to check and see if she was okay.  Once he hesitated, Kate used his concern to her advantage and began the playful wrestling match all over again.

Volume 1:  Chapter 18- Bon Appétit

Mia was more than a little peeved once she realized Trent was dragging his feet, on purpose.

She wanted to leave his apartment so they could enjoy a quiet date night together, but it seemed that he only wanted to stay with his friends and pregame.  Against her better judgement, Mia did her best to play the part of the good girlfriend and partook in the pre-party rituals with her man.  She joked, she drank, she smiled, she laughed, but when she got Trent alone, she made darn well sure he understood that she wanted to leave.

And so, while later than Mia had wanted, she and Trent said goodbye to the party brewing at his apartment and began the walk to start their date.  Any friction between them was tempered by the amount of alcohol they’d both indulged in.  Even the damp weather outside didn’t seem that chilly.  Although, that hadn’t stopped Mia from donning her poncho and fake belly combo again once they left.

As they walked, Mia enjoyed holding Trent’s hand.  It was a nice change of pace from just sitting around and playing drinking games.  She liked the fresh air.  And above all else, she enjoyed passing by the scores of people beginning their nights and passing silent judgment upon them.

There was so much to take in.  There were scandalous outfits girls were wearing to stand out at whatever parties they were heading to.  There were hilarious antics and conversations to eavesdrop on.  It was a real people watchers paradise.  And at the very least, it gave Mia something to talk about with Trent.  Well, something to talk about besides the obligatory discussion regarding what they should order for dinner.

Finishing the trek across campus, the young couple crossed the street.  As per usual right when they were almost finished crossing, Mia let go of Trent’s hand and began walking on the other side of him.  For Mia this wasn’t anything she consciously thought about, but Trent’s curiosity was piqued.  He’d simply seen her do this too many times with no explanation.

“Why do you keep doing that?”  Trent bit the bullet and asked rather bluntly.  He wasn’t sure if she thought his hands were getting clammy from how tightly she held him, or if there was some other ridiculous reason Mia kept switching sides every time she crossed the street.  Either way, the alcohol had loosened his tongue, he wanted to know.

“Mhh?  Cause you should be between me and the street when we are walking.”  Mia sweetly enlightened Trent, apparently finding it pretty amusing that he hadn’t known that.

“Are you serious?”  Trent raised an eyebrow in disbelief.  What was he doing?  Dating a girl from the era of Victorian chivalry?

“Yaa, why?  You want me to get hit by a car?”  Mia responded, while raising her voice a little louder to convey her dramatic rationalization.

“Cars don’t drive on the sidewalk.”  Trent sighed in disbelief that they were having this conversation right now.

“Whatever.  It just makes me feel safer.”  Mia proclaimed, as she sped up her walking pace and tugged Trent’s arm for him to keep up.  After all, they’d reached their destination.

“Okay.  Makes sense..”  Trent relented, although he did not think she was making sense at all.  He would have said as much, but it wasn’t worth arguing about.

Instead, he followed Mia through the yard, up the steps of the deck and to the front door while she searched her purse for her keys.  It really only took a moment, then Mia wasted no time in opening the door.  Everything seemed to be going to plan, then they walked into the house, and…

       Silence.

Laying on the floor just underneath the couch, was Mia’s roommate Kate and one of the football players they’d watched at the game only a few hours ago.  While the two rushed to scramble off each other and into a sitting position, it was evident they’d been fooling around.  Trent was silent.  The house was supposed to be empty tonight, Mia had told him as much.  This certainly complicated things.  Maybe he’d get to go to his party after all.

“What are you doing here??”  Mia’s shrill voice echoed through the house.  Trent could see her face beginning to flush with anger.

“*Ahem* We were checking under the couch for the remote.”  Kate began to craft her obvious lie, but Mia wasn’t having it.

“I thought you were going out with Jess and Lara tonight?”  Mia loudly accused.  She was pissed.  Kate being here meant that her dream of a quiet night alone with Trent was likely dashed entirely.

“Change of plans,” Kate explained, while innocently making eye contact with her partner in crime sitting next to her and unconsciously tugging her shirt downward to cover her slightly exposed soft midsection.  Returning back into Mia’s evil eyes, Kate posed her own question, “I thought you were going to Trent’s place?”

“Change of plans.”  Mia replied poorly mimicking the tone Kate had just taken in a vain attempt to spite her.  It was clear something had to be done.  Mia nobly decided to try and work things out in a civil fashion before she resorted to playing dirty.  Offering up an olive branch, Mia asked Kate, “Can I talk to you in the kitchen for a second?”

“Sure.”  Kate sighed.  She didn’t really want to talk to Mia right now, but anything was better than fighting in front of the boys they were trying to impress.

“We’ll be right back.”  Mia winked to Trent, as he felt the awkward sting of the whole situation.  Trent was confident that Mia and Kate would work something out.  In the meantime, he wasn’t looking forward to fudging his way through an awkward conversation with Jay.

Once they’d made it past the steps, Mia forcefully grabbed Kate’s forearm and dragged her into the party room, closing the door behind them in a haste.

“Ouch let go,” Kate complained, as Mia released the blonde interloper from her vice-like grip.

“First of all, what are you doing here with the kicker?”  Mia snobbishly demanded to know, while she placed her hands on her hips like a stern parent.

“First of all, his name is Jay.  And it’s a free country, we are just hanging out.”  Kate replied in a less than forthcoming manner.  She’d mimicked Mia’s tone, but made it sound much more ridiculous and stupid.

“Don’t play dumb with me.”  Mia oddly smirked, as she appeared to lighten up.  Kate kept her guard up, but Mia appeared to really cozy up close to her before her voice overflowed with a tang of conceited energy, “I told you that you two would make a cute couple.  Didn’t I??”

“I swear to God Mia, if you start..”  Kate vehemently growled at Mia’s smug face without backing up an inch.

“Start what?  I’m just saying you two are cute together.  Don’t be so touchy.”  Mia proclaimed with a bit of a forceful touch to Kate’s round tummy.  She’d just tried to nudge the big breasted blonde to take a step backward, but Kate wasn’t having it.  To her eyes, Mia was nothing more than a pudgy gutted brat in a pompous looking poncho trying to intimidate her like usual.  Standing up straighter and sucking in the vulnerable excess flesh Mia had just prodded, Kate readied herself for battle.

“I’m not touchy!  You’re the one acting all smug about it!”  Kate burst, as her temper flared.  She took a breath and more tactfully chose her next words, “I’m not hanging out with Jay because you thought it would be a good idea.  I really like him, okay?”

“Okay.”  Mia appeared to accept, while the smug look on her face slowly erupted into an excited energy that the bottom-heavy diva couldn’t contain, “All I am saying is that I’m a great match maker.”

“There you go!”  Kate nearly laughed to keep herself from screaming, “Just because I like Jay doesn’t mean I forgive you for snatching up Trent after we agreed to let him choose!”

“We let him choose, he chose me!  Get over it!  Gosh!”   Mia spat while feeling some enjoyment from the fact she’d just made Kate completely lose it.  It served her right for being such a pain.  Mia had wanted to keep this civil, but Kate was giving her no choice.  She’d have to put her in her place.

“You’re such an unbelievable f*cking liar!”  Kate fumed.  It took all the restraint she possessed not to rip that stupid poncho off and punch Mia right in that shamefully overfed gut the brat was trying to conceal.

“Takes one to know one!”  Mia childishly responded without losing a beat.

“Ugh!  I don’t know what Trent sees in you, you’re such a high maintenance blabbermouth!”  Kate retaliated forcefully in the heat of the moment.  Things were getting out of hand.  The girls had a history of getting heated with each other over such things, but normally cooler heads prevailed.

“Maybe he likes the way I blab my mouth!”  Mia misfired before biting her lip in frustration, regrouping in a split-second, and firing back on all cylinders, “Whatever!  The only thing boy’s see when they look at you is a brainless pair of jumbo-sized tits and a cheap f*ck!”

       Kate’s reaction was visceral.

Stifling a cough and shaking with rage, the pudgy blonde didn’t back down.  She saw Mia’s antics as the last gasp of a wounded predator.  And more than anything else, she intended to land the killing blow at all costs.  Summoning her most authoritative voice, Kate conveyed her discontent with a certain vengeful pride, “Jumbo tits??  A cheap f*ck??  At least my boyfriend isn’t dating me to score cash in a stupid bingo game!”

       Direct hit.

The change on Mia’s smug face was equal parts flabbergasted and exacerbated.  She did her best to bite her lip and conceal the damage Kate’s words had done, but Kate could sense the change in her normally iron-willed counterpart.

“Is that the best bullsh*t you can come up with?  You really are a stupid bimbo!”  Mia roared, as she produced a little shove to Kate’s soft gut to buy herself some distance from the irritating hot-headed ditz.

“You did not just call me a bimbo!  You..  you!”  Kate stumbled over her words in her attempt to promptly vocalize her retaliation.  Mia was pushing her buttons in a way that drove her crazy!  Her heart was pounding, she felt herself tensing up, this was her flight or fight reflex, but she wasn’t running, not this time.

“What?”  Mia prodded Kate in a condescendingly vindictive voice, “Say it.  I dare you!”

“You spoiled rotten..” Kate spat, as she resolved to dig this next part into Mia’s soul as best she could.  Pointing to Mia’s round stomach with a venomous glare, Kate bellowed, “potbellied brat!”

Kate’s voice almost seemed to echo throughout the empty room for a moment after she’d uttered her defiant coup de grâce.  She looked as Mia’s eyes widened with a dumbstruck surprise.  It seemed she hadn’t expected Kate to go for her soft underbelly.  Kate let loose a pleased smile, as Mia’s expression turned from exacerbation to apparent embarrassment.

“Agh!  I-I’m not potbellied!  You-agh!”  Mia stammered, while she appeared completely flabbergasted by Kate’s mean-spirited observation.  Kate had never seen Mia get so furious so fast.  She’d clearly touched a nerve.  Mia’s looks were the roots of her impeccable social power at the university, and Kate had just taken an axe to that foundation.  Stomping her foot down like a boisterous child, Mia regrouped and harshly demanded, “I want you two off the couch!  Trent and I were going to watch a movie tonight!”

“We are not moving!  We were here first!”  Kate stood her ground, as Mia’s face steamed from her hot temper.  Smelling the proverbial blood in the water, Kate decided to fire at her rival’s soft spot once again, “Why don’t you watch a movie at Trent’s place!  Yeah, you two should hike back up campus!  You look like you could use the exercise.”

“…”  Mia silently appeared stunned.  She knew Kate couldn’t comprehend the emptions she was both feeling and concealing.  She had to be careful how she presented herself.  The shock on her face was soon brought under control, as her posture became decidedly more defeated.  Recoiling backward and resting her big butt upon the pong table, Mia appeared to bite her tongue and sue for an armistice, “Fine.  Be that way.  B*tch.  I’ll get my fill of exercise and much, much more from Trent upstairs.”

“Maybe try having sex with the lights off, then Trent won’t have to see your spare tire jiggling around.”  Kate rudely responded to show Mia what she thought of her little peace offering.

Rather than let her emotions get out of hand, Mia blinked the look of revenge out of her eyes and began walking toward the door.  In poker terms, Kate had just showed her hand and Mia wasn’t quite ready to show hers.  She’d let Kate claim victory in this battle.  Besides, the war was far from over.  Taking a defeated tone, Mia responded, “Have fun with Jay.  You two look real cute together.”

“Gee thanks, bye.”  Kate loudly droned in a purposely fake sounding tone.

“Oh.”  Mia paused and turned toward Kate, “Before I forget.”

Kate watched with skepticism, while Mia dug her hand into her back pocket and pulled out some cash.  Tilting her head in curiosity, Kate quietly wondered, “What’s this for?”

“It’s for the hot dogs I nabbed from you earlier and..”  Mia began to explain, as Kate quickly counted how much money had been given to her.

“This is way more than what the hot dogs were worth.  If you’re sorry you can just apologize.”  Kate offered wondering if this was a covert attempt by Mia to plead for mercy.

“AND the extra cash is for the pizza and fries Trent and I ordered 15 minutes ago.  It should be here soon.  If you pay the delivery guy for me and throw the food in the oven on low to keep it warm when it gets here, you can have the other large pizza.  It was buy-one get-one free.”  Mia explained trying her best not to glare at the overweight bimbo she now planned to humiliate later, “Deal?”

“Sure, deal.  But why don’t you just do it yourself?”  Kate grunted pocketing the money.

“Trent and I are going to be busy.”  Mia vowed in a suggestive tone before promptly turning her back to Kate and hurrying out of the room.

Kate made sure to savor how tightly Mia’s pants hugged her thick bottom.  The blonde felt an overwhelming sense of satisfaction upon the formal notice she’d just delivered to Mia regarding her formerly coveted body’s unsightly expansion.

Both of the guy’s heard Mia stomping over before they actually saw her round the corner of the steps.  She sent an annoyed glare in Jay’s direction but didn’t linger too long.

“Come on Trent.”  Mia grunted, as she grabbed his hand and tugged him to follow her up the stairs to her room.

Jay really didn’t understand what that look was all about, but he was sure Kate would fill him in.  It only took her a few moments to rejoin him on the couch, and when she did, she seemed preoccupied.  She was also, out of breath?

“What’s wrong?”  Jay wondered out loud.

“Nothing’s wrong.”  Kate shook her head, while planting a horny kiss on Jay’s lips and eagerly mounting his lap.  She felt heavier than Jay was expecting, but he could hardly complain considering her tongue felt sensational lodged against his own.  They shared some passion for the better part of a few minutes, only stopping when Kate felt the need to catch her rather excited sounding breath.  In the lull, Kate sent Jay a healthy smile and chirped, “I actually think I just won an argument with Mia.”

“What were you arguing about?”  Jay tried to clarify, as Kate’s breathing steadied.  She seemed torn between acting frisky and gloating about her victory.

“Everything?  I honestly couldn’t even tell you specifics, my adrenaline is still pounding, but I feel like I finally put her in her place.”  Kate explained in a bewildered amusement that Jay had never seen in her before.  She continued expressively, “We even got a pizza out of the deal.”

Jay didn’t really have a moment to react, because Kate quickly wrapped her arms around him and gave him a tight hug.  So, he quickly returned the affection, “Wow, I’m happy for you.”

“It was crazy, it’s like..”  Kate began to speak, as a sudden barrage of noise from upstairs broke her train of thought.

       *Smack* *Uhhh!*  *YES!!  Harder!*

“Oh-my-god.”  Kate growled, as she let go of Jay and glared up the steps.  Sure enough, Mia’s door was closed, but it did little to block the noise.

“Is that what I think it is?”  Jay questioned, while he listened.

“Yeah, Mia’s pissed.  So..  Either they are about to fake having loud angry sex just to try and drive us out of here, or..  They are actually about to have real loud angry sex to try and drive us out of here.”  Kate sighed in frustration.  Even in defeat Mia was a pain in the ass.  Kate had more than half a mind to keep fattening the spoiled princess up to the point that Trent would feel compelled to dump her.  Then she’d have nobody to make irritating sex noises with.  That would show her.

       *OOooohh Yeahhhh!!!*

Kate and Jay locked eyes at that latest noise.  Kate felt she had to admit, “I can’t tell if that was real or fake.”

“Well is she normally that loud when she’s..”  Jay tried to ask, but Kate saw through his question before he finished.

“Yes.  She’s obnoxiously loud with it, always has been.  It’s like she wants the whole world to know how awesome it is that she’s having sex.”  Kate spat with a certain disgust in her voice, “F*ck I really don’t wanna hear her over the movie..  Would we be able to get any privacy at your place?”

       “Not likely.”  Jay frankly admitted.

“F*ck!  That spoiled brat ruins everything!”  Kate growled, as Jay tried to console her.

“We could just crank up the volume.”  Jay offered.

“No, we’d still hear her!”  Kate pouted, “Ugh!  She’s only doing this to bother me!”

“Then don’t give her what she wants.  If she wants us to leave, let’s stay.”  Jay suggested.

“That’ll be a piece of cake.”  Kate sarcastically responded, as she suddenly remembered something, “Oh!  I forgot!  I got you something.”

“Oh yeah?”  Jay raised an eyebrow, while Kate ungracefully dismounted and scurried out of his sight.

“Yeah, I’ll be right back.  Sit tight!”  Kate promised, as she hurried into the kitchen.

She opened the fridge with a smile on her face, but quickly lost her grin.  It was odd.  She was positive she’d left her little surprise directly next to the soda, but it wasn’t there.  Who could have..  Kate suddenly felt her temper rise once again, “She f*cking ate it..”

Stomping back into the parlor, Kate burst in an irritated tone, “She f*cking ate it!”

“Ate what?”  Jay wondered seeing Kate’s frustration with some concern.

“I don’t know when she did it, but she did it!  I bought two slices of chocolate cake for us to share as a treat after the game.  And she f*cking ate them both!”  Kate spat, as she digested the odd feelings floating around in her head.  On the one hand, she was please she’d played a part in conditioning Mia to crave such fattening foods when she wasn’t around, but those pieces of cake were for something special and Mia had f*cking ruined it!

“Umm, we could..”  Jay began to try and calm Kate down, but was cut off by a loud sound at the door.

*Knock* *Knock* Knock*

“One second.”  Kate motioned to Jay, as she hurried over and answered the front door.  She could plainly see it was the delivery guy, “Hello?”

“Mia?”  The pizza guy asked, while he held the food over his left shoulder.

“Yeah, that’s me.  How much again?”  Kate asked, as she grabbed the money Mia had given her.

“$22.95 please.”  The guy responded, while he held out his right hand.

“Cool.  Here you go.  Keep the change.”  Kate smiled, as she paid the man, accepted the food, and closed the front door with her foot.  She was going to bring the food to the kitchen, but then a devious idea crossed her mind.  So instead, Kate returned to Jay and dropped all of the food onto the coffee table in front of him.

“What’s with that look?”  Jay questioned with a hint of concern in his voice, while he studied Kate’s beautiful face.

“Mia wanted me to put it in the oven to keep it warm for them.”  Kate explained with mischief in her eyes.

“What are you going to do?  Put it in the fridge?”  Jay incorrectly tried to guess Kate’s intentions.

“Nope.  She ate our dessert.  So,” Kate dramatically paused before finishing her thought, “we are going to eat her dinner.”

       “We?”  Jay sought to clarify.

“You said I win by making sure she doesn’t get what she wants.  She wants this food, so she’s not going to get so much as a measly French fry!  Understand?!”  Kate growled with a little more pent up frustration than she intended to let out.

“Crystal.”  Jay gulped, while Kate opened the first pizza box, reached in, and handed Jay a big slice.

“I hope you’re hungry.”  Kate smiled, as she prepared a piece for herself too.

“I had a game today.  I could eat a horse.”  Jay shrugged, as the commotion from Mia’s room once again reached high decibel levels.

“That’s the spirit!”  Kate grinned, as she turned up the TV and gave Jay a big smooch for all his steady support, “Mwah!  Bon appétit!”

Thank you!  That is truly very kind of you to say.  This story certainly fills its niche well.  I think this version is very well written, but this story is preforming very poorly in terms of readership on multiple websites.  There is a big cult following for it on deviantart, sporadic-low interest on dimensions, low interest on fantasy feeder, and a modest following on curvage.  I think the long-form nature of it and the slow-burn of the first volume are big turn-offs to potential readers.  It makes me question if it worth my time to continue the story into future volumes.  Don't get me wrong, I love working on this story, but it takes so much time.  Time I could spend on smaller projects like, 'the fence' that seem to be far more popular than 'Mia's Junior Year.'  My only really goal as a writer is to make myself happy, and seeing other people enjoy my writing is a huge bonus, but it would certainly be more motivating if more people left comments across platforms.  I know the vast majority of my readers never provide feedback, and they shouldn't feel compelled too, but it would be nice if more people did.  I wonder why most people "lurk" rather than occasionally throw out some encouragement or feedback.

I guess what I am getting to, is that I think "Mia's Junior Year" is a great story, and I wish I'll be able to complete it one day, but sometimes I really do wonder if it will ever get done.  I think if I am able to finish it one day, it may be one of the best of its type, but that feels like a pretty big IF right now.

Thanks again for the feedback!  It really goes a long way

Speaking as someone who mostly lurks, please don't be disheartened by the lack of responses from people.

This story is wonderful and I am looking forward to the next installment.

Thank you very much for sharing!  I know the story is of a good quality, I am disheartened by this story's low reader retention.  That's how I tend to measure how popular my stories are.  (I measure this in deviantart btw) If the first chapter of a story has less views than the last chapter, I know that people who started reading the story did not make it to the end.  For example, "Food for Though: Chapter 1" has a bout 10,500 views on my deviantart page.  Chapter 4 of the same story has over 18,000.  Meaning that not only are people reading the story all the way to the end, they are likely returning to the final chapter because they like the climax of that story.  Now in the case of Volume 1 of MJY, the first chapter has 6,500 views and the final chapter is well below 2,000.  This means the story has lost more than two thirds of its original readers.  This is pretty concerning to me as an author because I put a ton of work into MJY, and it really seems far less read than nearly all of my other stories.  That's my main concern.  But it is nice to hear that you find my efforts are worth it.  MJY is mostly a passion project for me at this point, I'm sure that once I am feeling recharged from this burnout I'll go back to it and start work on volume 2.

Volume 1:  Chapter 19- Rude Awakening

The fan in the upstairs bathroom hummed a dull tone, while Mia readied herself for the ultimate act of revenge.  She breathed calmly, as she touched up her makeup and combed all imperfections out of her long jet-black hair.  Kate was in for the biggest surprise of her insubordinate life.  Mia couldn’t help but smile in glorious anticipation.  Breaking Kate’s power fantasy would be much more than karma at its finest.  It would be the final nail in the coffin, forever sealing Kate’s impudent hopes of dethroning the undisputed Queen of Douglas University.

Mia wanted Kate to feel inferior to her in every way, and her final preparations were nearly complete.  Her reflection in the bathroom’s mirror underscored the breathtaking allure of Mia’s domineering social status.  Her almond-brown eyes glowed with a simmering intensity that could pierce the heart of anyone who dared oppose her.  Her flawless face looked equal parts attractive, poised and elegant, while the posture of her seductive body exuded an unwavering confidence.

She stood before herself clothed in nothing, but an expensive Victoria’s Secret lingerie set that she only wore for special occasions.  It had been a wake-up call a few weeks ago when she’d last showcased it for Trent.  While her modest bust had never looked better wrapped in the blue hue of the pricy bra’s sexy and supportive embrace, the matching transparent lace underwear had proven to be an embarrassingly tight squeeze around the feminine curve of her well-padded bum.  However, now the underwear fit better than Mia could ever remember them fitting before.  Skipping class to hit the gym hard again had certainly paid off for her body in spades.

Unconsciously sucking in her breath and holding it in her chest, Mia adjusted her posture, so she appeared more upright.  Gazing at herself in the mirror from this pose, Mia thought her b-cup bust looked firm, full and flawless.  Looking a little lower and tightening her abdominal muscles, she smiled at the apparent flat, sleek, and sexy look of her tummy.

Letting out her breath and turning her back to the mirror, Mia peered her curious eyes over her left shoulder and appreciated, with a certain degree of relief, how her pear-shaped hips and femininely plump butt appeared equal parts athletic and shapely.  Returning to her formerly more relaxed posture, face to face with the mirror, Mia lastly stared at her smoothly shaven legs, marveling at the way they possessed just the right amount of tone and ladylike softness to appear completely irresistible to the opposite sex.

Kate was in for a rude awakening indeed.  Snickering with a bit of delight, Mia reached toward the doorknob and grabbed her partially inflated beachball- bandeau combo, securing the fake belly around her waist for what would be the last time.  With the deception in place, Mia threw on a stylish silk robe that matched her lingerie both in quality and expense.  Folding the robe properly and fastening the ribbons into an elegant bow, the disguise gave off the impression that she’d gotten more than a little chunky around her middle.  Mia was satisfied Kate would fall for her trickery down to the very last moment.  She couldn’t wait to ignite their next heated confrontation.

Mia could hardly contain herself.  First, she’d ruin Kate’s night, far worse than the ignorant puffy blonde had already ruined hers.  She’d hoped that using Trent as a noisy outlet for her uniquely angry and pent up sexual energies tonight would have been enough over the past two hours to drive Kate and her new boy-toy away from the premises.  Since that plan failed, Mia created a new one.

Glancing at the tiny trashcan beside the toilet, Mia eyed the first casualty of her new plan, the box of condoms the two girls ‘shared.’  She’d absolutely shredded it to effectively prevent Kate from enjoying the same lustful passion Mia had just experienced with Trent.  Mia weighed the pros and cons of leaving the remains so brazenly out in the open, but ultimately decided that she wanted Kate to see the proof.  Mia wanted recognition for this spiteful act of retaliation.  She wanted to make Kate more furious than she’d ever seen her, then and only then would Mia reveal the extent to which Kate’s pathetic plan to fatten her up had embarrassingly backfired.

In a sneaky fashion, Mia left the bathroom and waited at the top of the steps, listening.  This was the calm before the storm.  Mia could hear that the TV remained on.  Whatever movie Kate and that football kicker were watching hadn’t ended yet.  Maybe that was a good thing.  Maybe Kate’s guard was down.  That would only make it that much easier for Mia to do what she had to do.

The first excited step Mia took down the old wooden staircase produced very little noise.  So, did the second.  The third step squeaked a little bit, but that one was always the loudest.  Continuing, Mia carefully made it halfway down the steps without another sound.  From her new position, she could see the parlor clearly.  Much to Mia’s surprise, it didn’t look like Kate or the kicker were on the couch!

Excitedly wondering if her loud sex had actually succeeded in driving the two off, Mia hurried down the last of the steps and raced over to the couch only to quickly discover that her brash excitement was misplaced.  There was one person on the couch.  It was that football player, and he was totally snoozing.  Like, snoring and everything.  Gross.  Had Kate really bored him that much that he’d fallen asleep?  Pathetic.

Regathering her composure, and banishing her surprise, Mia’s ears alerted her to the sound of the downstairs toilet flushing.  Kate was in the bathroom.  Perfect!  She’d have her all to herself!

Smiling sinisterly, Mia gracefully walked over to the bathroom and quietly knocked on the closed wooden door.  A certain excited energy coursed through Mia once she heard some commotion in response to her presence.  Mia adjusted her robe to make her fake belly look more pronounced, and then she decided to speak.  Trying to impersonate an apologetic tone, Mia asked, “Kate?  How is your night going?”

Kate’s voice was a little slow to respond, but when she did, she sounded strangely deflated, “It’s going fine..  I’m looking for some tums..  I have a stomachache..”

“Was it the pizza?”  Mia wondered.

Trent had asked her to bring up the food now that they’d sufficiently indulged each other’s sexual appetites.  Mia hoped there wasn’t something wrong with what had been delivered.  All things considered, she’d grown quite hungry and didn’t have a backup plan for dinner.

“Yeah, I just ate too much.”  Kate’s voice admitted nonchalantly from beyond the closed door, “How was your night?”

“Couldn’t you hear?  Trent and I worked up quite an appetite.”  Mia smugly bragged, while she listened to Kate fumbling around with the cabinets under the sink.  That was where they kept their tums, the dumb blonde probably would find them soon.

“Yeah right.  Like pretending to have sex is really that tiring?”  Kate’s voice barked from behind the safety of the closed door.

       “We weren’t pretending!”  Mia grunted.

Was that why Kate hadn’t left the house??  She thought she’d been pretending!?  Mia wished she was looking Kate dead in the eyes for this.  Then the chubby blonde would understand just how serious she was.

“You always pee after sex, literally always, and I didn’t hear a single flush of that toilet upstairs.  Who are you trying to fool?  You’re so pathetic.”  Kate spat, as she correctly called out Mia’s behavior for what it was, “You just wanted us out of here.”

“I did pee!  I was just in the bathroom!”  Mia protested, while suddenly feeling like she’d lost control of the conversation.  This was nothing like how she’d imagined this scenario going.  She figured she’d ruin Kate’s night by telling her about the condoms, and then crush her soul with her brash reveal.  This pointless squabbling was going nowhere.

“Did you remember to flush genius?”  Kate condescendingly asked, as Mia almost blew a circuit.  She didn’t have patience for this.

“Yes!  Of course I flushed!  I’m not a slob like you!  Ugh!”  Mia vented, while she stomped her foot down and proclaimed, “Whatever, you’re deaf!”

Kate had officially succeeded in pissing her off, again.

However, Mia could admit to herself that at least part of her heated temper was likely due to the hunger growling in the pit of her stomach.  Maybe it was best not to rush Kate out of the bathroom for a confrontation just yet.  A bite of pizza would help focus her mind and get her energy up for the battle ahead.  Her mouth was agreeingly salivating at the thought.

“Meet me in the kitchen when you are done in there.”  Mia ordered, as she left Kate to her own devices and turned her attention toward addressing her hunger.

French fries and pizza sounded like a heavenly combination to her right now.  It had been a long day to top off a long week of hard work in the gym.  She knew she deserved to indulge today, and Trent hadn’t complained about splitting pizza.

Entering the kitchen and gazing at the oven, Mia’s stomach growl approvingly in response.  However, her eager anticipation was undercut by an astute observation.  Much to Mia’s and her stomach’s dismay, Kate had stupidly forgotten to turn the oven on.

What a dumb b*tch!  Now she’d have to wait ten whole minutes for the dumb old oven to preheat and then ten more minutes for the food to heat up properly!

In her frustration, Mia opened the oven to remove the food, but was surprised to see that it was empty.  Weird.  Maybe Kate had put it in the fridge?  Mia was positive she’d told Kate to put it in the oven, but she had been upstairs with Trent for a long time.  Giving Kate the benefit of the doubt, maybe she took it out of the oven and put it into the fridge so it wouldn’t burn or spoil.

Mia checked the fridge in an eager instant.  Moving around the drinks they had on the bottom shelf, Mia came to realize the sad truth.  The food she’d ordered was not being stored there.  So, where the heck had Kate put it all??

Impatiently rushing back out of the kitchen and toward the bathroom’s door, Mia wanted answers.  She was about so hammer home a loud knock, but the door swung open before she could.

Stepping backward with irritation, Mia glared at Kate’s traitorous face once the blonde slowly immerged from the bathroom.  In an aggressive and accusatory tone, Mia burst, “Hey where is my food!?  The oven is empty!”

“Shhhhh!  Jay’s napping.”  Kate motioned for Mia to quiet down.

Ignoring her, Mia repeated impatiently, “Where is my food?”

Looking annoyed, Kate looked toward the parlor and then back to Mia, before grabbing Mia’s arm and tugging her across the small connecting hallway and into the party room for some privacy.  Closing the door and proudly noting how tight Mia’s robe clung to her belly, Kate answered with a hint of smugness, “Yeah sorry, we ate it all.”

Mia’s hungry brain could hardly process what Kate had just said.

As if to clarify Mia’s apparent confusion, the big-breasted blonde embellished her statement by arrogantly patting her profoundly protruding stomach, and adding, “And boy ohh boy was it good.”

Mia hadn’t done so much as to hazard a glance at her foe’s body until this very second.  And now that she was, her jaw dropped because of the mammoth food-baby Kate was sporting.  It was clear that Kate’s hourglass figure looked decidedly fuller.

The impudent blonde was still wearing the same clothes she’d had on earlier, although the way they fit her swollen body had certainly changed.  For once, Kate’s overly abundant cleavage wasn’t stealing the show, it was her belly.  And that was saying something because Kate’s sizable breasts made her bra look undersized and ill-equipped to contain them.  Kate had obviously graduated from d-cups to hefty dd-cups over the course of her recent unrelenting weight gain.

The fabric of her tight white tank top seemed so absorbed in covering her meaty chest, that the garment completely failed to extend its coverage anywhere near Kate’s deep looking belly button.  Kate’s already pudgy gut appeared swollen firmly beyond recognition.  It was like someone had inflated a beachball inside her tummy!  It was so big, it not only forced the hem of her shirt higher up than it belonged, it was so pointedly rounded that it even forced the waistband of her sweatpants lower than it should have been!

Mia responded in the only way she knew, “Are you f*cking kidding me?  You ate all of my food??  You pig!  I told you to put it in the oven!  Not your f*cking belly!  Don’t you listen!?”

“Haha, sorry I was just returning the favor.”  Kate hummed.  She was clearly savoring the look of irritation on Mia’s face.

“Ugh!  What are you talking about?  You think this is funny?  Trent and I are gonna starve.”  Mia dramatically pouted in her frustration, while she crossed her arms just above her fake belly to make it look more pronounced.

“You don’t look like you are starving with that huge gut.”  Kate teased and pointed with her finger.  In response, Mia did her best to blush and take a defensive step back.

“You’re one to talk!  Your gut looks way bigger than mine!”  Mia reacted in an embarrassed fashion continuing to play along with Kate’s power trip.

She was pissed Kate had taken her food without asking, but she tried to keep a cool head.  She was finally beginning to steer the conversation where she wanted.  Like her dad always told her, she had to keep her eye on the prize.  She’d let Kate lull herself into a false sense of superiority, then she would strike.

“Maybe by a little bit, but this is my tummy when it is full,” Kate motioned cradling her food-baby as if she was really with child.  Giggling to herself, Kate continued, “Hmhm!  And yours is just as big on empty!”

Looking down, Mia realized that Kate wasn’t exaggerating.  Her fake belly looked almost equal in size to Kate’s real belly, how unfortunate, for her!

“UgH!!  Whatever!!  Do we have anything else to eat?”  Mia grunted, while she bit down on her lower lip to keep herself in character.  She needed to maintain the deception that she was just a dumb fattened damsel.

“We had cake, but you ate it all behind my back, lard-butt!”  Kate spat with some irritation in her voice.  In response, Mia’s hands rushed to grasp her large hinie, as if to confirm that what Kate said wasn’t true.  Kate enjoyed every second of Mia’s worry.  She loved seeing Mia so embarrassed and ashamed of the fattening consequences her gluttony had done to her once slender body.

“No, I didn’t.  What are you talking about?”  Mia honestly tilted her head in confusion, as her hands abandoned her cushy rear end.  She thought Kate was trying to pull some trick on her.

“I had two pieces of chocolate cake on the bottom shelf.”  Kate growled vindictively.  She couldn’t understand why Mia was playing this dumb.

“I didn’t eat those!  I moved them to the top shelf!”  Mia righteously proclaimed sounding extra snobby, “Besides, cake doesn’t belong on the bottom shelf!  That’s where drinks go!”

“Are you kidding me?”  Kate doubted, as a sudden wave of doubt flooded her mind.  She hadn’t even looked at the top shelf when she’d searched for her cake in the fridge.  She’d just seen they were not where she’d left them and gone berserk.

“Go look.  I’ll wait.”  Mia said, while she leaned her butt against the pong table and glared at Kate as she pieced together what was happening.

“Fine.”  Kate growled hoping against hope that Mia was wrong and that she was still justified in her extreme actions.

Hurrying out of the party room and over to the fridge in the kitchen, Kate only had one word in response to what she found waiting for her on the top shelf, “Sh*t.”

Dragging her feet in returning to Mia in the party room, Kate didn’t even make eye contact with Mia.  She felt like such an idiot.  Swallowing her pride, Kate muttered, “Well, you can have the cake for dinner.  Sorry.”

“Thanks.  You are so kind.”  Mia paid Kate a sarcastic smile, while recognizing that this was her golden opportunity.  Kate’s confidence looked shaken.  It was the crack in her armor that Mia had been waiting for.  Without a second thought, Mia coyly explained, “By the way… Not that it probably matters tonight for you and your… guy.  But we are officially out of condoms.”

“Are you serious??”  Kate moaned in annoyance before her mind suddenly picked up on Mia’s tone.  Mia sounded like she thought things had not gone well between her and Jay.  Just because they’d eaten themselves into food-comas didn’t mean that they didn’t still want to have sex with each other!!  And furthermore, Kate knew for a fact that there had been more than a few condoms left upstairs!  What the hell was Mia saying??

That’s when it hit Kate plain and clear.  Mia had purposeful trashed the condoms to spoil her night!  What a colossal b*tch!!  Venting her frustration, Kate demanded to know, “How many were left!?  How many did you two use?!”

“I don’t know…  You can never be too careful when practicing safe sex.”  Mia shrugged playing dumb, “I’m not trying to get pregnant.”

“Ugh!”  Kate growled not buying Mia’s bullsh*t justification, “Well what are Jay and I supposed to do?  Huh??  We were planning on having sex tonight!”

“Go to the store and get a fresh box.”  Mia coldly proposed.

“You just want us out of the house.  You just ruined half a box of condoms just to cock-block me?!!”  Kate realized, as the smirk emerging on Mia’s face told her that she was correct.  Lashing out in irritation, Kate bellowed, “Mia that’s not fair!  Something is seriously wrong with you!”

“You’re what’s wrong with me!”  Mia snapped, “You f*cking ate my dinner because you stupidly thought I ate your cake, WHICH I DIDN’T!”

“Can you stop being so f*cking melodramatic?  You stole my lunch!  Remember!?”  Kate argued, as Mia leaned her big bum off the pong table and stormed closer to Kate until she was right in her personal space.

“I remember prematurely spoiling your little chat with Hannah!!  I remember you two gossiping about me and my relationship behind my back!  I remember you insulting me because my boobs aren’t ridiculously swollen like yours!  I remember…”  Mia continued to prattle her complaints at Kate, until Kate cut her off.

“Stop it!  I was complaining about spilling mustered on my boobs!  I’m sorry you can’t relate to that!  There is no need to be jealous!”  Kate countered in an effort to irritate her hotheaded housemate even more.

“Ugh!!  I’m not jealous!”  Mia fumed briefly eyeing how fat Kate’s boobs appeared before bringing her attention back to Kate’s eyes.  In truth, she was a little jealous about Kate’s biological edge in the attention grabbing department, but she’d never let her know it.

Noticing Mia’s envy, Kate began to add fuel to the fire, “Just because men prefer big boobs…”

“Shut up!  Men don’t prefer big boobs if what they are attached to looks like a bloated heifer!”  Mia burst unleashing her pent-up food-deprived rage.

For Kate, Mia had just crossed the line.  Feeling the hair on the back of her neck stand up, Kate tensed up and threateningly snarled, “I dare you to say that again.”

Not shying away from Kate’s challenge, Mia changed her tone and decided to let her words do the damage, not her volume, “I shredded the condoms and trashed them.  I admit it.  Consider it a favor, I figured you didn’t want… Jay, seeing you naked since you’ve.. well.. let yourself go so badly this semester.”

“I went a little overboard tonight,” Kate admitted, before looking at how big Mia looked in that robe and continuing, “but if you think I’m the one whose let herself go, you should take a long look in the mirror you fat brat!  You might not be happy with what you see!”

“I’m perfect, body and mind.”  Mia hummed.  She sounded calm and calculated, her almond-brown eyes narrowed on Kate’s significantly softened form, “And I’ve even got the perfect boyfriend.  Unlike you.”

“Jay is 1000 times better than Trent!”  Kate responded without hesitation.

“Only in your wildest dreams!”  Mia meanly objected.

“What’s wrong with you??  Can you really not stand to see me happy?  Do you always have to try and ruin things for me to make yourself feel better?!”  Kate seriously asked, while Mia appeared uncaring.

“I’ve got nothing to do with it.  You reap what YOU sow.”  Mia artfully spoke, while she let her words linger.

Nervous of what Mia meant by that, Kate cleared her throat and wondered, “What’s that supposed to mean?”

“I think you know what it means.”  Mia glared.

“No, I don’t!”  Kate tried to assure her.

“I’ve been onto you the whole time.”  Mia cruelly smiled, as she watched Kate squirm like the fat worm she truly was.

“I-I don’t know what you’re talking about..”  Kate stuttered trying to remain calm.  Alarm bells were going off in her brain.  Her heartbeat skyrocketed.  The worst kind of nerves churned within her painfully full stomach.  Mia was looking at her as if…

“I know about your little scheme to sabotage my diet.”  Mia revealed with a certain smug satisfaction on her face.

Kate’s eyes widened.  Her look of surprise was palpable.  She wanted to question how Mia could possibly know, but she couldn’t form the words.  Her mouth had gone dry.  She couldn’t feel her lips.  It was like she couldn’t feel anything.  This had to be a dream.  Like, the kind of dream where you are standing in a road and seeing a speeding car coming at you.  You want to move.  You know you have to move.  But you can’t.  Call it fear, call it whatever you wanted.  It’s exactly how Kate felt.

Seeing Kate’s stunned silence as a success, Mia continued to layer on the theatrics, “You wanted to trick me into getting fat, so…  I decided to trick you.”

With the satisfying taste of Kate’s humiliation ripe for the taking, Mia slowly untied her robe.  Kate’s eyes fearfully followed Mia’s hands, as they unveiled her body.  To Kate’s horror, while the silk robe’s removal exposed Mia’s blue bra, it also exposed something else where her fleshy stomach should have been.  A large bandeau and a slightly deflated beachball.  As the robe fell to the floor, much to Kate’s shock, so too did Mia’s fake belly.

Before her now stood the vindictive spoiled brat that Kate had thoroughly thought she’d been outsmarting all semester.  This was a girl whose long jet-black hair appeared perfectly combed.  Her face, flawless, just like her appropriately tasteful application of makeup.  It made her almond-brown eyes really pop.  They now pierced into Kate’s soul.  Inviting her to look upon the body she’d tried to so methodically ruin.

Kate looked, and the truth hurt.  Mia’s belly wasn’t a belly at all.  Her narrow waist had been preserved.  Her slender beauty was untouched by the tidal wave of calories Kate had attempted to drown her with.  She looked as pristine and perfect as ever.  This truly felt like a nightmare.

Breaking the silence, Mia decided there was nothing more she could say to break her pitiful rival than to simply point out the obvious, “It’s over Kate.  Face it.  Your plan to fatten me up backfired bigtime.”

“Backfired?”  Kate was able to weakly echo, as her attention had a hard time pulling away from the domineering silhouette of Mia’s body.  She was so… perfect.

“I know you have a hard time seeing past your bloated tits, but trust me when I say, the change is noticeable.”  Mia coyly enlightened Kate with a condescendingly firm poke to her protruding belly.  The pressure Mia’s touch forced Kate to experience in her aching tummy drew her attention to Mia’s next demeaning words, “Let’s start with your gut, do you remember it always being so round and squishy?”

Mia emphasized her tease with a cheeky grab of Kate’s excessive stomach flab.  Her blonde friend’s face blushed in response.  Her embarrassment was obvious.  She looked horrified.

“Hmhm?  I didn’t either.”  Mia answered her own question, as she observed Kate look down and take in the size of her gut, “My handywork I’m afraid.  You’ve been so focused on what I’ve been putting into my body that you haven’t been too careful about what you’ve been putting into yours.  Silly you.”

Kate looked frozen like a deer in the headlights.  Mia was positive she could detect Kate’s legs trembling.

Acting on Kate’s weakness, Mia continued to lather on the punishment, “That’s why the only clothes that fit you now are sweats.  You’re fatter all over and it’s all because you mistakenly thought you were better than me.”

       That got the blonde’s attention.

With Kate’s eyes now staring back into her own, Mia snobbishly proclaimed, “I beat you at your own game.  You lost.  I’ve still got the perfect body, the perfect guy, and what have you have?  A shameful gut, stripper tits, and a silver medal of a boyfriend.”

Kate blinked.  Her daydream vanished.  With Mia’s last word, Kate had regained control over her motor functions.  She hadn’t felt fat when she’d thought Mia had been the bigger of the two, yet now, the comparison had her feeling pathetically round.  There was no doubt in her mind that Mia was making her feel far fatter than she actually was.  Yet still Kate’s world felt flipped upside down.  And all because of the beautiful spoiled b*tch standing in front of her.

Kate now knew her folly, she’d tried to trick the trickster, she’d tried to beat a cutthroat tyrant by becoming one herself.  She’d fought fire with fire and gotten burned.  Her emotions felt as wounded as her spirits.  However, like a wounded animal she’d fight till the last breath before she’d allowed Mia to subjugate her like every other girl at the university.  No matter what Mia said or did, she’d never convince Kate that Jay was some kind of silver medal!

“That’s not true!  Jay’s way better than Trent!”  Kate hoarsely cried, as she planted her feet, took a deep breath, and then blasted the rest of her retaliation into the air, “Trent’s only with you because he wants to have sex with you!  Can’t you see that!  If you were not so eager to put-out all the time, he would want nothing to do with you!”

“Just because Trent prefers to have sex with me, and not an out of shape couch potato like you, doesn’t mean you get to get angry with me.  It’s not my fault you can’t keep your fat mouth away from junk food!  Fatty!”  Mia promptly returned fire to avoid letting what Kate was saying sink in.

“I’m not a fatty!”  Kate complained.  Her hands went to cover her swollen midriff.

“Well you’re certainly not a skinny!”  Mia teased aggressively placing her hands on her hips.

“I haven’t put on that much weight!  Besides, Jay likes the way I look!”  Kate desperately justified, as Mia saw an opening in Kate’s defenses.

“Ohh, Jay likes bigger girls?  Huh?  I had no idea he was a chubby chaser.  Good for you.”  Mia responded in a mocking tone.

“He doesn’t like ‘bigger’ girls!  I’m not a ‘bigger’ girl!  He’s not a chubby chaser!  He likes me for me!!”  Kate rallied despite emotional tears beginning to form in her eyes.  This battle was taking a toll on her.  She felt exhausted.  She had to act fast otherwise Mia would burry her where she stood.

“Calm down fatty, don’t take your insecurities out on me!”  Mia dismissed Kate’s proclamations.

“You’re the one with the insecurities!  Deep down you know sex isn’t just the glue holding your relationship together, it’s everything!”  Kate cried knowing this would agitate Mia to no end, “Hannah was right.  Trent’s only dating you so he can get a leg up on that bingo game!  And I think, deep down, you know it!”

“I was wondering what the heck you stuffed yourself with to get so fat, but now it’s obvious.  You’re full of sh*t!”  Mia burst appearing to lose her cool.  Despite her best intentions, Kate’s words were sinking in.

Competitive until the end, Kate knew she shouldn’t have expected anything less from Mia.  Even if Mia knew Kate was right, she’d never admit it.  It wasn’t in Mia’s personality to back down.  Wait a minute…  That was it!

“You know what?”  Kate began with renewed vigor, “Rather than slapping the sh*t out of you right here and now, how about we settle this our way?  Tomorrow morning.”

“Ha! Is that a challenge?”  Mia tilted her head regaining her composure.  Her facial expression reflected her smug curiosity.

“You bet your ass.” Kate yelled, as Mia spied the inklings of a double chin jiggle a bit under her opponent’s face.

Mia was irritated Kate hadn’t completely crumbled at her feet.  The girl’s cheeks appeared red from embarrassment and her body appeared inflated like never before, yet still she didn’t beg for Mia’s forgiveness.  The blonde’s body had blown up in every direction and yet she still resisted with hurtful lies about Trent.  Maybe Kate didn’t truly realize just how far she’d fallen down the social ladder.  Maybe she didn’t yet realize her place in the pecking order as nature intended.  Maybe she needed a more forceful reminder of just how inferior she truly was.

Not letting up, Kate interrupted Mia’s train of thought by loudly proclaiming, “If I win you can’t have sex with Trent again until summer break.  See how long your relationship lasts then!”

This was a serious stake for the bet, even though Mia was confident that Kate could never beat her at anything, she still had to negotiate such a ridiculous demand, “Winter break.”

       “Spring break.”  Kate compromised.

“Deal!  Even if I lost to you by some stretch of the imagination!  Trent and I don’t need sex to enjoy our time together.”  Mia justified, as she decided to claim her own ridiculous stakes, “*Ahem* When I win, I’m officially the boss of who is allowed in this house, at all times!  You’ll have to beg for my permission to have anyone over!  And I’m allowed to change my mind.  If I say you and Jay have to leave.  You get the f*ck out, no questions asked.”

“Deal.”  Kate agreed without blinking an eye.

“Haha!  Game on porky!  You must be crazy if you think an out of shape ditz like you can beat me at anything.”  Mia laughed unable to believe Kate’s misplaced confidence, “We’ll do a race at the track.”

“No.  Track was your sport.  I’m only gonna do this if I have a fair chance.”  Kate declared, “If you’re so much better than me at everything, how about we settle this with a game of tennis?”

“I haven’t played any tennis since the summer.”  Mia admitted, while she wondered how much of a threat Kate would be in her preferred sport.

They both had experience playing tennis.  Kate played in high school but stopped when she’d gotten into college.  Mia had played at the local country club every summer since she was in middle school, but she’d certainly never been on a team.  Reflecting, Mia knew she’d lost more than a few tennis related challenges to Kate freshman year.  Back then Kate had clearly had the edge in experience and conditioning, but Mia figured she didn’t have those advantages anymore.  Still though, it was an unnecessary risk to bet the whole challenge on her tennis skills.  Changing her tone, Mia proposed, “How about we make a day of it?  A comprehensive competition.  A three-part challenge.  Best two out of three.  We’ll have a race, we’ll play a game of tennis, and, if I somehow don’t win both of those events, we’ll settle the score with something else.  So, what do you say?  You in?”

“I’m in, but we are not running a freaking 5k.”  Kate refused remembering how much of a mismatch their first race of the semester had been.

“No, we’ll do something short to get the blood flowing.  How about a mile around the track?”  Mia suggested, knowing Kate would not stand a chance of beating her in anything long distance.

“How many laps is that?”  Kate wanted to clarify before protesting.

“Four.”  Mia sighed.  How the heck did she not know that?

“Four laps!  No way!  Let’s do a sprint.”  Kate shook her head.  The shorter the distance the better chance she had of beating Mia before she really got going.  Offering her counterpoint, Kate proposed, “Let’s do a 100-meter dash.”

“Fine.  The length of the race doesn’t matter, I’ll still win.”  Mia shrugged.  She was confident her cardio was far superior to Kate’s.

“How many sets of tennis?  Best of five?”  Kate hoped.  The more sets they played, the more likely Kate’s superior technique and experience would rise to the surface.  Mia could get lucky and win a tough rally, but not a prolonged war of a game.

“Sure.”  Mia conceded, as she felt her stomach growl.  Five sets were a lot.  She figured Kate would be dangerous in the first two sets, but, after that, all that extra weight she was carrying would probably slow her down, costing her any chance of a victory.

“And what about the tie breaker event?”  Kate wondered.  She felt confident she had a fighting chance to beat Mia in the sprint, especially if Mia got off to a slow start as she often did in their longer races.  She felt even more confident that she’d dominate Mia in tennis.  Still though, the last event of their grand challenge had to be something she could fairly win.

“Hmm, how about…”  Mia paused, as her aching stomach actually spoke for her, “An ice cream eating contest?”

“A what?”  Kate burst in confusion.  Did she hear that correctly?

Mia blushed a little bit, she had no idea why she’d said that.  She was actually craving ice cream, so maybe that was why.  However, fumbling to come up with a response, Mia just said meanly, “Well, I want to give a fatty like you a chance to win something.”

“Oh, shut up I’m not fat!  But if you wanna lose an eating contest, that’s fine by me.”  Kate growled, as she decided not to look a gift horse in the mouth.  She’d just eaten a full pizza by herself.  Mia could never compete with that.

“Shame we’ll never get to the eating contest.  You’ve got zero chance of beating me on the track and only a slim chance of getting lucky at tennis.”  Mia informed her disrespectfully.

“Are you kidding?  I’m way better than you at tennis!  Remember all the times we played freshman year?”  Kate gawked at Mia’s overconfidence.

“Maybe you had an edge in tennis before you inflated like a balloon this semester, but not anymore.” Mia smugly stated, as she gave a defining poke to Kate’s soft middle as if to underline her point.

“I guess we’ll find out tomorrow.”  Kate huffed, as she swatted Mia’s hand away from her stomach.

“I guess we will.”  Mia brazenly said, while she broke eye contact with her rival and turned around to gather her things.

Bending over to pick up her robe, Mia could hardly contain herself, this contest was fool proof.  Not only would she nab an easy victory and claim total control over the house.  Mia would make Kate see just how severely out of shape she’d become.  This wouldn’t be a challenge; it would be a massacre!  Mia had no idea what Kate was thinking.

If she had the power to read minds, she’d know that Kate was currently studying the fleshy cheeks of Mia’s butt, while she stood bent over picking up her robe, bandeau and beachball.  In Kate’s head, her thoughts centered around a simple realization.  Something she’d failed to notice earlier during the heat of Mia’s revelation.

Mia was wearing a lingerie set that Kate had replaced during a laundry session nearly a week ago.

The panties Kate was staring at right now were two sizes larger than the ones she’d replaced.  And they appeared to fit Mia’s fleshy buttocks perfectly.  Maybe Mia hadn’t grown a shameful belly, but she had grown somewhere.  Thanks to the accumulated volume in the upper portion of her butt cheeks, Mia’s whole hindquarters looked much more swollen than usual.

The brat’s coveted bubble butt had inflated behind her back!  Come to think of it, Mia’s thighs and hips appeared a little fuller and softer too.  Mia body wasn’t a top-heavy hourglass like Kate’s, she was bottom-heavy pear!  Mia clearly hadn’t gained as much poundage as Kate had, but maybe Mia had more of a reason to worry than she currently realized.  The way Kate saw things, Mia could be in for a rude awakening tomorrow morning.

Volume 1:  Chapter 20- Let the Games Begin

The time for talk was over.  The sun was shining overhead, yet only damp track turf lay underfoot.  A stubborn breeze migrated peacefully across the university’s stadium until it reached the determined faces of Mia and Kate.  Their chosen battleground remained completely waterlogged from yesterday’s stormy weather.  The 100-yard expanse of faded red track before them appeared completely dotted with pesky puddles.

These were hardly ideal conditions for a sprinting competition, but neither girl would voice a protest.  Each of them in their own way, had found their way to the starting line to prove something.  To turn away now would feel tantamount to admitting defeat.  And neither girl could live with that.  So, the they merely waited, in a palpable silence, for the wind to die down.  For once it did…

“On your mark…”  Mia growled taking the lull in the breeze as the cue to finally get this forgone contest underway.

She allowed her vision to narrow on the finish line.  Bending her knees, she planted her right foot behind her, and then lowered herself into her racing position.  Mia recognized with annoyance that the abrupt motion had cause her underwear to bunch up.  With her right hand she quickly attempted to tug her tight short shorts downward to alleviate the wedgie they were giving her.  These were the same shorts she’d worn during the first challenge of the year and now they uncomfortably clung to Mia’s hefty rear.  In the moment, she blamed her discomfort on Kate probably shrinking them in them in the wash.

“Get set…”  Kate echoed reading herself.

The blonde had already had to squeeze her fleshy boobs into two sports bras to ensure her bust wouldn’t flop around uncontrollably and spoil her chances of winning the race, but, deciding more support wouldn’t hurt, she zipped up the top of her brown sweat jacket for good measure.  Her sweat suit felt uncomfortably tight despite how stretchy it was supposed to be.  While the outfit felt the tightest around her chest, she couldn’t deny that it was also dangerously unequipped to comfortably contain her bloated gut, and softened butt.

It had taken some time for the truth of Mia’s revelation to really set in, but now Kate had to face the facts.  She’d let herself go something fierce this semester.  She wasn’t exactly sure how much she’d gained, but she knew it was a lot.  She looked like she’d gotten bigger everywhere, her face, her legs, her arms, her coveted hourglass shape had overflown in every direction.  She’d clearly gained much more than Mia had.  And what made it worse was that there was nothing she could do about it now.

Returning her attention to the task at hand, Kate put her self-pity behind her.  Feeling bad about herself wasn’t going to help her win.  Clearing her head, the busty blonde took a wider stance than Mia, leaning her weight more onto her back foot so she could spring full throttle into motion once Mia yelled…

“Go!!”  Mia shouted, as both girls simultaneously sprang into action.

Off the starting line, Kate pulled ahead.  Her smart posture allowed her to leverage more of her bodyweight into her first few strides.  Even though she was the heavier competitor, she’d accelerated faster!

It was impossible for Mia not to notice, with serious alarm, how the pudgy blonde had managed to edge a small lead over her off the start.  Mia’s strides were too small.  Her leg turnover too slow.  She felt a sense of panic stirring within her.  It was like the starch was missing from her step!

As the race progressed millisecond by millisecond, excuses echoed throughout Mia’s mind as to why her legs suddenly felt so heavy.  Had she taken her warmup across campus too fast?  Perhaps this strange soreness was a product of her frequent gym visits this week?  She’d worked very hard on the treadmill, maybe that was why her thighs felt like they were on fire?

Three more steps, and Kate pulled farther in front of her.  Mia could see the blonde’s pudgy legs distinctly jiggle with each step, yet she couldn’t close the distance!  This was a problem!  Mia felt like she had nothing in the gas tank!  All she’d eaten for dinner last night had been a large piece of chocolate cake.  She hadn’t even eaten breakfast today.  The morning had been far too emotionally draining for that.

With her next few forward bounds, Mia recalled the text she’d awoken to from Kate.  A screenshot of her boyfriend’s cell phone, and a list of rules governing sorority bingo.  Just under the screenshot was a promise from Kate that Trent, in fact, owned a bingo board.

Hustling to keep pace with her overweight rival as the sprint continued, Mia remembered the callous move.  Kate had tried to dishearten her and weaken her resolve.  Mia knew it was bullsh*t, but she just had to know for sure.  She’d foolishly taken the bait.

Striking a puddle with her next step and sending a splash of cold liquid up her whole left leg, Mia winced as she remembered the walk back to Trent’s apartment earlier this morning.  She’d lied and told him that she’d left her notebook in his room.

Kate was approaching the halfway mark, and she still had a lead!  The blonde had stopped accelerating and was now moving at peak speed!  Try as Mia might to move her legs faster, for some reason, the energy just wasn’t there.  Something was holding her back.  She thought back to when Trent had gone to his bathroom and given her a minute alone in his room.  She didn’t know where to start so she searched everywhere.  It wasn’t long until she looked under his bed and noticed a stray pair of her panties.  Squeezing under to retrieve them, Mia stumbled upon a more concerning discovery.

Kate hadn’t been lying after all…

Trent did possess a sorority bingo board!  It was empty, but her panties had been right on top of it.  For a moment, Mia had been relieved.  Clearly Trent had gotten the thing earlier in the semester before they’d started dating.  He’d never asked her to sign it, so he couldn’t be playing.  But then Mia thought back to the rules Kate had sent to her and with horror, she remembered rule 3.

……………………………………………………………………………………………..
Rule 3: Sleeping with a girl from the sorority written in a space and getting the girl’s signature and phone number written inside the space is what it takes to fill a space. If you cannot get that, you must still be able to prove that you had an intimate night together for the space to count. Be creative.
……………………………………………………………………………………………

       Be creative…

Was hording her panties supposed to be f*cking creative???  Maybe her body felt so drained because she’d just learned that all of Kate’s hurtful words about Trent actually could have been true!  Ugh!!  And she’d had sex with him last night on and off for nearly two hours!!

In fact, maybe the sex had exhausted her…

No!  It was the betrayal!  It had to be the betrayal!  Mia was feeling the betrayal weighing in her heart and on her burning thighs.  She even felt it every time she sensed her butt jiggle in response to a forceful step forward!

Ugh!  She’d been so furious she hadn’t even said goodbye to Trent.  She’d just ran straight from his apartment to the track across campus as fast as she could.  Dozens of sleepy college students on their way to a late breakfast had stared in awe and jealously as the sorority queen charged past the sophomore and freshman dorms in nothing but a sports bra and a pair of tight blue short shorts.

Where was that furious energy now when she needed it?  Instead she was being treated to Kate’s enlarged heart-shaped butt bouncing its way to victory ahead of her.  Stupid Kate!  There had to be a logical explanation for Trent having that stuff under his bed.  Maybe Kate’s new boyfriend had planted it there for her!  Yeah!  Kate could have stolen one of her pairs of panties when she was doing her laundry!  Yeah!  It was all a trick!  Just like she’d tried to trick Mia into gaining weight!  Well that plan backfired bigtime and this one would too!

Invigorated with a righteous fury, Mia’s stride narrowed, and her pace quickened.  Her thighs burned both from the lactic acid buildup and the amount they were starting to chafe, but Mia used that pain as her new source of fuel.  Over the next few meters, Kate’s formerly forceful pace showed signs of fatigue.  Mia took her eyes off the rapidly approaching finish line and zeroed in on Kate’s chunky legs struggling to maintain their dangerous speed.

With a forceful concerted effort, Mia closed the gap!  She registered in slow motion, Kate’s look of surprise as she passed her.  The corpulent oaf looked horrified.  Mia recognized Kate’s extreme struggle to keep pace and then buried the overweight busty blonde in her dust!

With jubilation, Mia crossed the finish line in first!  In her joy, she took her time in letting her pace naturally slow down.  Catching her breath and feeling the burn in her lungs, Mia turned around to see how her pudgy rival was faring.  To her delight, Kate had collapsed just feet after the finish line.  She was on her knees.  It was a fitting place to beg for mercy.

“I think I pulled something!”  Kate called to Mia before doubling over onto her back.  Mia watched with pleasure as she wheezed in and out to catch her breath.  Kate looked completely drained of energy.  Her big stomach rose and fell every time she took in and let out a large amount of air.

“Excuses, excuses!”  Mia exclaimed between attempts to catch her own belabored breath.  In truth, Mia had crossed the finish line far more fatigued than she’d expected.  Why had her legs felt so heavy?  Had not eating breakfast really robbed her of that much energy?  Whatever the cause may have been, she still was fairing far better than Kate, who looked like death.

“I’m not making excuses!”  Kate protested, as she lay sprawled out in every direction.  Her brown sweat suit appeared so stretched and strained containing her chunky body that it looked like it might just rip any minute now.  This was a treat.  It was evident looking at Kate now, all of her athletic features were long gone.  She’d turned into a roly-poly pudge ball, exhausted and gasping for air.

Approaching her defeated rival and noting the way Kate’s pudgy lower belly roll poked out from the bottom of her tight brown sweat jacket, Mia couldn’t resist cruelly noting, “Hey isn’t that the same outfit you wore yesterday?”

“This sweat suit is all that fits me right now…”  Kate sighed with some lingering regret on her face, but in a resigned acceptance.  Mia had won this battle, but she hadn’t won the war just yet!

“Hahaha!  I told you that you got fat!”  Mia giggled uncontrollably, as her hands fixed a wedgie the race had given her, “You should have seen the look on your face when I passed you!  Did you really think I’d let you win?”

“Just shut up…”  Kate growled.  She was too tired to act on how much Mia was irritating her.  Besides, she had other concerns.  Looking at Mia, Kate asked, “Can you help me?  My leg hurts.”

“Where does it hurt?”  Mia sighed impatiently.

Grunting as she rolled over, Kate managed to point her finger against the back of her right thigh, before saying, “Right here.”

“That’s your HAMstring.”  Mia mentioned snidely, while her eyes lingered on Kate’s enlarged butt.  Kate’s breasts were so attention grabbing that Mia hadn’t paid the blonde’s caboose that much attention until now.  It was almost unrecognizable compared to what it had looked like at the beginning of the semester.  It looked bigger everywhere.  It’s heart-shape looked full to bursting in those tight brown sweatpants.

“Can you not insult me when I’m in pain.”  Kate complained, as she rolled back around.

“I’m not calling you a pig, that’s honestly what it’s called.”  Mia assured her, although Kate still looked skeptical.

“Why does it hurt so much?”  Kate complained, as she eyed Mia’s trim waist with a certain jealousy.

“Did you stretch?”  Mia judgingly questioned, while she put her hands on her hips like a disinterested parent.

“Yeah!”  Kate responded quickly.  She didn’t appreciate the superior tone Mia was taking with her.

“Did you stretch your HAMstring?”  Mia teased, as she tauntingly slapped the back of her thigh.  The noise produced quite a loud slap.  Even Mia seemed a little surprised by how much thump her thigh had produced.

“I guess not…”  Kate admitted, while she rolled her eyes.  This was the fate she’d have to endure if she failed in the next two challenges.  A sour feeling began to burn in her stomach.  Kate relaxed on the ground, defeated, as she tried to banish the ache in her tummy.

“Then that’s why piggy!”  Mia meanly joked, as she approached Kate, offered her an unexpected hand, and explained, “Stand up.  Walk around.  The movement will help.”

Biting her tongue, Kate grabbed Mia’s hand and allowed her to help her up.  Mia grunted a bit exaggeratedly during the process to shame Kate even more, but Kate didn’t acknowledge it.  She had more pressing issues to worry about.  After taking a few steps to each side, she complained, “It still hurts.”

“But you’re walking fine.  You just need to stretch.”  Mia rationalized, as she impatiently started tapping her foot, “Now hurry, up I wanna play tennis before I cool down.”

Kate didn’t enjoy feeling like Mia was rushing her.  Demanding with some force, Kate growled, “I need a break.”

“No.  Stretch and then let’s finish this.”  Mia disagreed.  Unlike Kate who was wearing a long-sleeved sweat suit, Mia’s sports bra and short shorts combo hardly could protect her from the cool breeze that the day continued to produce.  If she stood around doing nothing for ten minutes while Kate stretched, she’d be cold for tennis.

“I’m serious.”  Kate firmly stood her ground.

In response to Kate’s defiance, Mia wanted to remind her how their little challenges worked and who was in charge, but a sudden and uncomfortable rumble from her tummy dissuaded her.

“Fine.”  Mia relented, as she felt her stomach churning for nourishment.  Not having breakfast before these physical competitions was clearly a mistake on her part.  She needed food before playing tennis, and Kate needed a break to stretch her leg.  Maybe they could agree to a mutually beneficial change of plans.  Striking a bargaining tone, Mia asked, “If you want a break so bad, how about we head home do our ice cream eating contest next instead?”

“Ice cream before tennis?  That’s a bad idea.”  Kate commented, as she wondered if such an ordering of events could play to her advantage.

Kate certainly thought she held an edge in both tennis and eating.  The only thing was that Kate wasn’t feeling all that hungry at the moment.  She’d eaten the largest dinner of her life yesterday, and she’d felt so bloated this morning that the only breakfast she’d allowed herself to consume was a paltry banana that still made her feel like she was going to explode after eating it.  She was kind of hoping on winning tennis before the ice cream contest so she could work up her appetite.

“Whatever, you want a break and I didn’t eat breakfast.  We’ll kill two birds with one stone.  Well actually…  I guess three birds with one stone.”  Mia corrected herself, while she remained determined to convince Kate.

Trying to follow along, but uncertain of what Mia was saying, Kate inquired, “What’s the third bird?”

“Well when I win the eating contest, we won’t even have to play tennis so your leg hurting would really be a moot point.”  Mia rationalized in a totally serious manner.

There it was!  That stupid smug confidence that drove Kate crazy!  Mia thought she was so f*cking superior, didn’t she??  Kate couldn’t believe this snooty brat’s audacity.

If Mia had succeeded in one thing all semester, it had been in insuring that Kate had become a master at overeating.  If Mia thought she’d have the edge in eating, she’d be in for a rude surprise!  Kate didn’t want the title of being the heavier girl, but she currently was, so she’d use it as an advantage if she could.  There was simply no way someone with Mia’s slim stomach, could compete with someone with a belly Kate’s size.  It was just science.  Even if Kate knew she wasn’t feeling that hungry, it didn’t matter.  She could force the ice cream down just like she’d forced Mia’s dinner down last night.  Lacking a better retort, Kate spat, “You’re a moot point.  You’re on!”

“Ha!  You sound just like my sister.”  Mia laughed at Kate’s childish response.

“Do you torture her as much as you torture me?”  Kate wondered, while she hardened her resolve.

“Of course not.  She doesn’t deserve it.  You do.”  Mia emphasized with a firm poke to Kate’s soft gut.  It didn’t feel as firm and full as it had last night, but it was still far too large for a young lady without a medical condition.  Trying to sound as mean as possible Mia informed her corpulent competitor, “I’m jogging home.  Try and hurry up.  I don’t have all day to wait around for you tubby.”

Kate could hardly believe the nerve of that girl, as she watched Mia jog off and into the distance.  Moving carefully so as not to aggravate her leg, Kate worried about her chances.  Sure, she figured beating Mia in an ice cream eating contest wouldn’t be too hard, but her hampered hamstring gave her worries for tennis.  If she couldn’t move as freely as possible, it was more than likely that Mia could dominate her.

As she slowly made her way toward the house, Kate took a few breaks to try and stretch.  She wanted to buy time both for her leg to heal and for her hunger to grow.  However, by the time she arrived home, both problems remained at the forefront of Kate’s mind.

Walking inside, Kate could see that Mia had thrown all of the ice cream they’d stored in the freezer onto the kitchen table so it could thaw.  When the bottom-heavy diva joined her by the table, Kate suggested that they could use the microwave to more quickly thaw the frozen treats, but Mia stood firm and accused her idea of being barbaric.

Fed up with Mia’s antics, Kate decided not to argue.  She could use the extra time to stretch and so she did.  Kate even grabbed a heat pad to help sooth her tight hamstring.  After about ten minutes, the mood of the room suddenly changed.

Both girls realized that the time for their second challenge was finally upon them.  Kate’s leg was feeling much better and, according to Mia, the ice cream had thawed to perfection.  Kate still wasn’t feeling very hungry, but she put her faith in the superior size of her chunky gut.

Sitting across from one another, eight Ben & Jerry ice cream pints stood between the fierce rivals.  Kate’s first choice in flavor was chocolate chip cookie dough, Mia’s was strawberry cheesecake.  The two of them agreed to time their contest with Mia’s phone.  After some bickering, they settled on 10 minutes as the amount of time they’d shed all social graces and eat like they’d never eaten before.  They readied their shiny spoons, licked their lips, and traded one last combative stare down before Mia moved to begin the countdown for the timer.

Five seconds seemed far longer than necessary, but Mia clicked for it to start, nonetheless.  Once the time slowly ticked down and the phone beeped, both girls dug into their icy treats with equal fury!

Kate could see in her peripheral vision that the scoops Mia was forcing into her mouth were rather large.  It took time to swallow that much cold ice cream, time that Kate used to take smaller, more frequent scoops of her own ice cream.  Unlike the last contest, this was a marathon not a sprint.  Nobody could eat as fast as possible for 10 minutes, fatigue would be a factor here, so Kate paced herself.

Bite after bite, and gulp after gulp, both girls continued to gorge themselves in the same fashion for almost two minutes straight.  Mia was slowing down in terms of the number of scoops she was taking into her mouth, but it appeared she’d doubled down on her strategy because she was taking larger and larger amounts of ice cream into her mouth with each bite.  Kate almost found Mia’s antics laughable until Mia threw her empty pint to the side and grabbed the nearby pint of chubby hubby!  Kate had wanted to take that flavor next!

Astonished at the progress Mia was making, Kate forced herself to eat with more gusto and finished her first pint of ice cream as well.  Kate reached for the nearest pint without regard for the flavor to save time.  Her first bite of the mystery flavor rewarded her with a refreshing chocolate fudge brownie taste.  This was one of her favorites!  Humming with approval, Kate continued small bite after small bite.  She wanted to hazard a look at Mia’s progress, but she knew she couldn’t risk wasting the time.  She’d check on Mia’s progress after this next pint was fully inside her rapidly filling belly.

As Kate slowly gave into her inner glutton and began to enjoy the unorthodox amount of food she was selfishly consuming, breathing became a labored task.  Her inflating gut and large bust were threatening to burst the fabric of her sweat jacket!  The double sports bra and tightly zipped sweat jacket combo had been perfect for ensuring her big tits didn’t harm her chances in the sprint, but now the constrictive upper wear was constricting the size of the breaths she could take between bites.  With every subsequent gulp of ice cream, Kate felt like she was slowly drowning, and her pace was slowing down as a result!

Wasting precious seconds that she could have spent stuffing her face with ice cream, Kate grabbed the zipper of her tight brown sweat jacket and tugged it all the way down!  Freeing herself of the constrictive clothing did help improve Kate’s breathing, but it also had an embarrassing consequence.  Immediately feeling ashamed, Kate could sense the tight skin of her belly completely exposed to the cool air in the kitchen.  Her tank top didn’t fit!  It couldn’t even cover her expanding stomach!  Her belly and love handles were embarrassingly hanging out over the strained waistband of her sweatpants!  She was getting so bloated her belly was practically beginning to spill out onto her lap!

As humiliating a realization as her expansion was, Kate swallowed her shattered pride along with ever increasing amounts of ice cream to keep herself in the fight!

Six minutes down and Kate had finally worked her way through the last of her second pint.  Tossing the empty container to the side, Kate recognized, with dread, that Mia was already onto her third pint!  Impossible!  How could such a skinny girl eat so freaking much??  It wasn’t fair!!

Kate’s own stomach hurt from the sheer volume of ice cream she’d forced into herself so fast.  She was not feeling like she was nearing a brain freeze, but her belly felt like it couldn’t take the pressure anymore.  The logical part of Kate’s brain wanted to admit defeat and spare herself the damage she would do to her softened and overfed figure by continuing.  Her skin felt like it was mere moments away from bursting, how much more food could she take before her belly button was forced to pop from an innie to an outie??

In despair, Kate thought back to her ruined night.  Both her and Jay had wanted to take their relationship to the next level, but they’d grown too full and sleepy to make good on their desires.  Plus, the dark-haired b*tch sitting across from her gobbling down ice cream like it was her job had stolen all of the condoms.  Even if her and Jay had felt up for it, they wouldn’t have been able to do it thanks to her.

Kate knew that if she couldn’t find the strength to shove aside the growing discomfort in her belly and eat with renewed vigor, Mia would win this challenge and seal her fate for the year.  Mia would never let Kate enjoy her life if she lost right now.  She couldn’t stop eating!  She wouldn’t stop eating!!  Not as long as Mia reigned supreme!

Wasting a moment to grab a flavor that would hold her interest, Kate selected Vanilla Caramel fudge for her third pint.  Before beginning, Kate noticed Mia was working on downing a pint of chunky monkey.  What luck!  That was likely a huge mistake!  While the banana ice cream was yummy to the extreme, it contained huge fudge chunks and walnuts that Mia couldn’t just swallow without risking choking.  She’d have to chew them.  Chewing mean time, and that time would be all Kate needed to catch up and finally beat miss perfect at something for the first time in over a year!

Pushing her steady pace to the next level, Kate didn’t care that her stomach had reached its limit so soon.  The pain in her gut became the fuel she used to push herself past her limits!  While, Mia struggled to consume her newest pint with the same fury that she’d attacked the first two with, Kate got busy gulping down vast swaths of fattening dairy goodness.  The caramel taste offered enough of a contrast to the ice cream that Kate could push past the fatigue her taste buds were experiencing after consuming so much of the same sugary thing.

As the last minute of the contest began ticking down, Kate was briefly paused by a disorienting sound.

       *Bbbuuuuurrrrrppp!!!!*

The deepest, manliest belch she’d ever heard had just came out of Mia’s snobby mouth!  She had ice cream sloppily smeared all over her lips, but the expression on Mia’s face was one of pained relief.  Was her stomach fighting indigestion?  Or maybe she’d gotten a brain freeze?   It didn’t matter, she’d stopped eating!

Kate drastically hurried to scrape what remained in her pint into her mouth before eagerly swallowing it all before time ran out!

Having finished three full pints of ice cream, Kate had ensured she was a narrow winner over Mia’s equally impressive two and three-quarter pints consumed.  But had this been a pyrrhic victory?  Kate’s gut felt no less than ten times heavier now that all that fattening ice cream was sitting safely in her belly.  Three more gulps of ice cream and she just might have ruptured her stomach.

“Ughhh!  Oh f*ck…”  Mia moaned with a pained look on her face.  She was leaning back in her chair clutching her now visibly swollen midsection.  Kate tried to sit more upright so she could get a better look at miss perfect’s fabulous food-baby.  Mia’s stomach looked taut to the naked eye, completely stuffed to its limited capacity.  The newly rounded shape of her center had descended as far as it could to carry all the ice cream had forced down her throat, but it hadn’t been enough to out eat Kate.  Noticing Kate’s stare, Mia demanded weakly, “Get me some *uuurp!!* tums…  I can’t move…”

“Just give me a second…  I’ll get them…”  Kate agreed, as she wondered just how impaired her own mobility would be from the enormous ice cream binge she’d just endured.  Her own belly appeared far larger than Mia’s even though they’d just eaten roughly the same amount.  Kate didn’t think that was fair at all, but her body was still struggling to process all the food she’d gorged herself on from dinner yesterday.  Even though her body had much more capacity to fill itself with ice cream, a lot of that space had ready been in use before they’d even started.

“I don’t think I’ve *bbuuurrpppp!* eaten this much ice cream in one sitting since my last breakup…”  Mia frankly admitted looking completely zoned out and exhausted.  She was clearly feeling so pained she couldn’t even complain about her close loss.

Kate would have rubbed in her victory, but she was probably feeling even more pain in her gut than Mia was.  Although, Kate was surprised by how much the diva was burping, she was normally never this gassy.  Was Mia lactose intolerant?  Did this b*tch actually have a human weakness?

Trying to keep her possibly significant observation to herself, Kate played along with Mia’s wistful tone, “Tony?”

“Yup…” Mia mused, as the memories played in the background of her mind…  At least until Kate finally managed to lumber to her feet and start walking past Mia.  All at once, Mia saw the true extent of Kate’s pure beefiness.  Exclaiming in laughable surprise, Mia chuckled, “Haha!  Woah, you’re so swollen!  I didn’t think you’d blow up so much!”

“Oh shut up!  Check out the big ol’ belly you’re sporting!”  Kate smiled in triumph with chocolate dripping down her softened face, as she leaned over and prodded Mia’s vulnerable looking food-baby.

“Don’t touch it!  Do you want me to throw up!?”  Mia pouted, as a quick flash of worry went through her head.

Why didn’t she save the eating contest until the end??  Could she even play tennis on a full tummy like this?  Ugh…  She wanted a nap not a tennis match…

Luckily for Mia, the feeling was mutual with her competitor.  The girl’s decided on a half-hour break so they’d have some time to digest.  Mia chose to lumber over to the sofa and nap during her free time, and Kate chose to walk around the house and continue to stretch her legs.

After the brief intermission from combative activities had ended, the girl’s grabbed their rackets and set out to the university’s tennis courts.  Half an hour had done enough to allow the girls to walk relatively freely, but both worried about how playing a competitive game would feel with their full stomachs.

It was clear by now that the day’s events had taken a toll on both combatants.  The aftermath of the ice cream contest had Kate’s belly feeling heavy and stretched.  Mia’s starter-gut felt equally cumbersome.  The sprint earlier in the morning had left Kate the worse for wear because her hamstring still didn’t feel quite up to 100%; however, Mia was not unscathed from the contest of speed.  She felt a surprising amount of soreness on the insides of her thighs, and her legs still felt heavy.  To make matters worse, she was feeling a little sleepy from her recent food-induced nap.

While Mia let out more than a few burps and yawns on the way to the tennis courts, Kate’s mind was on the fact that she’d been unable to get her sweat jacket to zip back up after the ice cream eating contest.  She’d been forced to leave the house in nothing but her tight brown sweatpants and a tank top which couldn’t fit her enlarged chest and painfully swollen belly.  She prayed nobody would be at the tennis courts and her prayers were answered once they got there.

The place was deserted, while the two combatants took their positions.  The sun was equally flying overhead, so there was no advantage to be had by claiming either side of the court.  Like the track, the court was a little damp, but neither side was particularly worse than the other.  Slipping might be an issue during this game, but it would be an issue that both girls would have to account for on their own.

After a surprisingly quick discussion about who would serve first, Kate held the tennis ball and readied herself for a clandestine serve.  For some reason Mia hadn’t wanted to serve first at all.  She’d given Kate exactly what she’d wanted.  That was a first.  Kate didn’t know her strategy, but it didn’t matter.  She intended to blow Mia out of the water from the first serve.

While Kate bounced the tennis ball on the ground a few times and tossed it in the air a few more times for good measure.  It must have looked to anyone passing by that a professionally fluffy couch potato had challenged a former college tennis player, in the early stages of pregnancy, to a deathmatch.  No more words were traded, no more teasing insults exchanged.  They each knew winning three of five sets were necessary to achieve victory.

Changing her rhythm from slow to fast, Kate caught Mia off guard with the speed and power of her first strike.
