Known to be a heavy smoker - this is what you may look like when you hit your mid-forties.

This on the left is what she already looked like without makeup in her late 20's:

She has MS. This topic should be deleted.

Newbies - especially those who call themselves "anon" - have no say on what gets removed unless it's their property or a pressing legal issue. It's just Netiquette 101.

What we do here at Curvage is focus on the external. We are literally a superficially focused collective. Beauty is skin deep and it's where our focus is - the skin in question being droopy, saggy, bloated, stretched, stuffed, rolled, doubled over and/or cellulite-ridden. Aside from death feedists*, we're not cheering for health problems. As fat admirers, our underlying worldview and subconscious minds believe (whether we explicitly say so or not) that fat retention is a sign of good health. If we didn't believe that, then we wouldn't be attracted to it. This is how sexual attraction works in nature: things that appear to be thriving generate attraction. A good metaphor is with bodybuilders: they see muscle, they think good health. When they see more of it, they would usually regard it as better. So they keep looking at it.

Obviously, there are complications in the real world that break our fantasies. Fat people, like thin people and muscular people, get sick with endless illnesses to varying degrees in many different ways. This was always true. With that said, now what? Do we yank threads anytime someone ends up unwell? Do we just automatically assume - at the behest of a newcomer, no less - that our users are so shamelessly exploitative that they're more than willing to fap specifically to this woman's illness? Not because she's beautiful, as well as talented, funny (speaking of which, if you cared about her as a person, which is what's being assumed we don't do at all, despite this being a collective of superficial freaks, you'd actually listen to her own speech where she had a joke about her illness), and still willing to put herself out there dressed to the nines as if she would enjoy being noticed for looking good.

If our users have a reputation that bad - and trust me, I know how bad we can be and how bad I can be -  just shut the whole thing down. Tell our models to go somewhere else to earn some cash and call it a day.  But a new guy who knows we're this bad from the get-go, I have to ask, why did you even sign up? Go to KiwiFarms, if they're still up and running. They love roasting the "lolcows" and their "worshippers". Blab to them, with screenshots of course, about how we're jerking off to a dying woman largely because she's dying. Let's ignore the fact that the thread started before her MS diagnosis.

If you still feel this way, fine. But you know that means other threads have to go, too.
Lena Dunham has gotta go - I say good riddance for a lot of reasons. But she's obviously sick, she also walks with a cane.. and yet we've got her bikini photos in clear HD in her thread - it's even on page 1 right now. How appropriate. It'll make things easy.
Amy Schumer should get the boot - she has one of Lena's illnesses - endometriosis. Feels bad, don't it?
Jameela Jamil gets the heave-ho - Ehler Danlos and a whole bunch of other stuff... which possibly means Munchausen.. but even that's an illness, a mental illness. Maybe they should count too.
And what about the multitude of weight gain stories our writers work on? You know the ones that involve the "character suffers injury which causes her to gain weight" trope? Gee, doesn't it reinforce the idea of suffering-induced fetish fuel as fair game? And some of these writers make money on such stories. The gall!

*- I havent seen much death feedist content here, but it has not been openly condemned anywhere on Curvage, and in no way am I saying it should be.

It's just that the overall issue of "OMG, you're enjoying something about this person when they're clearly dying" concept is like a sort of narcissistic game, like everything these days. People are basically claiming that you're a scumbag because you're dehumanizing someone by... humanizing them. If you think the thread is icky, then don't post. I think you can block it too.

I have been here for years. No one is dehumanizing her. This is a fetish site not a political statement. If this was a case of Christina gaining a ton of weight from eating to much that is one thing. She has MS a progressive disease to where she cannot even walk or stand on her own power anymore. It's like with that crazy chick on Dr Phil who claim she was pregnant. Everyone made the choice to no longer feature her on this site any more. Because she was mentally ill. If you can get off past the fact she has MS that is on you. But don't tell us that we are dehumanising someone when we are not. We are only doing what we think is right.

Carefully reread my statement, please.

he's not pontificating. its morally wrong to post a woman on a weight gain fetish site when she's got a serious illness that is destroying her health. and its not like over-eating or even gut issues. MS is debilitating. its creepy that anyone thinks we should be tracking her weight gain or thinks its sexy.

Hey (I posted the original update)

I just wanted to apologize for upsetting anyone and I truly meant to offense by uploading this. I knew MS was a disease but I guess I didn’t know it was that serious. I probably should have done one Google search to find that out beforehand.

I just saw the headline saying she gained 40 pounds and I wanted to check it out.

Apologies

A user’s choice of screen name or number of posts (or lack thereof) does not suddenly bestow some divine measure of whether a user’s comments are of value or not. Let’s not be gatekeeping the community and who can have a voice here just because you disagree with the statement.

I don't pop into the FatCeleb section much anymore, but after learning she had MS I wanted to see if a thread was made here. Sure enough it is but when majority of the people commenting are asking for this thread to be deleted I would hope the Admins and Mods would consider this thread for deletion. We may glorify weight gain, but when it comes to someone's health that comes first.

She has had an amazing career and wish her to be able to explore as much as she can with MS. I have known people with this disease and it's terrible.
