Okay so I have some browser bookmarks from before 2019, they don't work anymore.

They were for thread 17693.40 and thread 9434.0

I think the number after the decimal relates to page number, so thread 9434 and thread 17693, but it seems the new url's only work if you use the full proper title of the thread...

Is there anyway at all to find these threads? I bet they still exist.

Although on the same topic, I think this was a change sometime in 2019/2018 to the way url's on this site work? in theory this also means 1000s of links people have posted in say threadA referring people to a threadB are also broken?

Anyways if there's a simple trick to find a thread knowing only it's thread number I'd love to hear about it!
