Greed and laziness is ruining American society!

Recommended Posts

One in four American women are on psych meds! I think that is unacceptable!

We didn't have something like this in the 50s-80s!

What caused women to be this way?

Are greedy pharma companies pressuring doctors to push these pills?

Are men to blame? Is porn making them more aggressive? These aggressive men are making women miserable?

Is it economic inequality?

How can we have a society full of women who are happy and live active lifestyles?

I believe if we don't change our ways our greed and our laziness will destroy the planet and ourselves.

Just saw a couple fat woman and normal man at target where the woman tells the man she'll beat the shit out of him.

Stop putting a male face on aggression, those cases only finish things more permanently more often than not. LGBT relationships don't have 1 partner more protected than the other (ie violence against women is only taboo for men) and it's normalized sadly; initially I thought it's just 2 lesbians but pride hides a lot apparently.

Back on topic, There's more information these days with bipolar behavior and depression. Are the drugs effective? Who knows, though some people are heavily dependent and completely irritable/violent without their fix.

Personal experience: been robbed, ghosted, choked and kicked in the balls by women. Best strategy for me is to subdue and ostracize (submission moves and verbal taunts, help with the racist ones) rather than be the bad guy and counterattack with a stupid battle cry of equal lefts to equal rights because the physical pain I received only irritated me, with no permanent damage nor even temporary marks.

I'm not really the type of person to take away agency from their actions though i will note tendencies. I also don't use my negative experiences to remain broken, but to learn and find happiness in other ways.

It's sad that the women you talked about cannot take care of themselves, yet many want to clamor being strong and independent.

The constant insecurity or need for money can be such bad dealbreakers I may just go the visual novels/erotica route; beats being scammed (litmus test is to see which models half-ass and phone things in and minimalize contact unless they're broke) and getting into an argument online to risk the person prefer blocking/ghosting you over resuming and getting more money for their self-interest.

Being happy in my opinion is to feel fulfilled and sadly some people who have more, can never get enough, or they get narcissistic and want to feel sexy without needing anyone's notice/reaction, and I avoid those types to upkeep my sacred inner peace barrier.

No, the blame lies with capitalism and loss of traditional morality. Gluttony was long held to be a sin. Capitalism led to increased prosperity and eventually to the huge portion sizes, normalisation of snacks for adults due to ads etc

Watch out! Capitalism leads to prosperity!

You express some valid points here, but you’re entirely off-base suggesting this is a new phenomenon. Women have been overprescribed harmful medications for centuries.

The classic is laudanum (tincture of opium) which was widely distributed under hundreds of names as pain relief for menstrual cramps. In the mid 20th-century there was the “Mother’s Little Helper” era, when new sedatives like Valium were pushed hard on women.

From the 30s, amphetamines were the drug of choice for figure-conscious women. There was even a US Senate investigation in the 60s due to the number of deaths caused by “rainbow diet pill” regimens—cocktails of diet pills taken throughout the day mixed with other drugs to counteract side effects. When these were banned, other similarly-dangerous drugs stepped in, like Phen Phen (legal) and cocaine (not legal, but nearly as prevalent).

Adding SSRIs to the list, you have drugs that fit into 2 categories: drugs intended to ease the feelings of anxiety or depression common to women, and drugs intended to reduce women’s bodies. This raises questions. Why are women more prone to depression? Why are women expected to remain a certain size at all costs? Possibly both questions share an answer.

Women are a marginalized group, whose opinions and lives have always been suppressed for the benefit of men. Unlike other marginalized populations though, the dominant group (men) require and desire women to exist. The history of medication for women indicates that men are happier to drug the women they love, rather than talk, empathize, or make any sort of positive change for them.

There is certainly a capitalist force at work here. Not that the drugs were created but that they were so heavily advertised demonstrates that industry was driven by profit motive rather than clinical rigor. It puts a lampshade on the joke that there is always a “safer alternative” ready when one class of drugs is deemed destructive and banned.

It is key when discussing social politics to remember that nothing is new. Every way that modern society oppresses marginal groups has been around in some form throughout our history.

Happier to drug? Even if that drug makes them fat? I thought most men wanted their women to stay perfect.

Do you think most men secretly love fat women and would be happy to make their wives fat?

Sure, tell that to those who get paid to do their managers' jobs, myself included 😜. How do people not see preferential treatment and bullies get promoted in the workplace?

@Blunderbusty these days everything a man says is seen as sexist regardless. Politics are usually a censorship game by marginalized groups, with equality as a smokescreen to police their own biases. Matt Boling is crazy fast but solely because he is white, he won't be stated to shatter stereotypes despite the fact track isn't seen as a sport white people generally win. It's similar  complaints about women's busty counterparts, including Tifa FF7 breadt reduction in the remake, because nobody knows/buys into breast physics, but they can believe a guy can jump 100 feet in the air like Cid or carry a buster sword like a paperweight as cloud does.

Nope, just tell the government that you're offended and oppressed. They'll fall all over themselves trying to give you free stuff. And everyone else pays for it. It's really awesome.

@Lt. Chubs Unless if you're black of course lol then you gotta pull yourself up by your bootstraps while dodging police panicking on code black.

Though I do get you as I'm noticing people get it easier in higher paying positions. Vacations/promotions after 2 months for some people. Hmm how oppressed can someone be when they have it easier? An activist's worst nightmare in those cases.

I do feel we avoid a lotta money transferred from class action lawsuits and the like when the ones in power royally screw up. Almost a kickback sometimes but at least somebody got paid, as Greg Bison would say lol he's my wallpaper. Always get paid first.
