Self-Righteous Criticism to Morphing

I've noticed a pattern developing on DevianArt lately. It's so suddenly recent and out of the blue, I thought it'd be a one-off and not a trend.

The low-down: some big time WG morphers have returned from a slight hiatus, and like usual their works are magnificent and their fans (and even some passers-by) show them some love. Also, as on occasion is the rare comment of confusion, dislike or even disgust, which is fine. But, these recent criticisms have taken a bit more of the comment sections and they've been adopting some sort of anti-appropriation art, anti-fat, white knight mindset.

It's the kinda stuff that makes me think this whole self-righteous fervor against fat morphs is some calculated effort... or even my own fault, perhaps. I cannot confirm nor deny if the "misterl0gic" user just might be your's truly - ahem...

To be fair, I'm sure the message that misterl0gic guy wanted to send was not to use said morphs for evil by placing them in hate posts directed towards the subject and sent directly to them over social media. This was in reference to the whole Nia Jax "fistgate". For those of you who don't know about wrestling, it's one of the many things that has made someone named Becky Lynch something of a household name lately.

Any-who, these critics are claiming morphers need permission to do their thang. Some are saying that they are cosplayers and would dread being the subject of such works thereby basically saying that they'd never give such consent. I say, I understand that feeling - it's like a bad haircut. Someone did something to your image that you ended up not liking. You can't really control that, but big deal. Grow your hair out.

Then someone was scree-ing for a mature tag on fetish art. Eh, I don't like the way this is going down, especially after the Pornpacalypse on tumblr...
