Weight Gain Story Lines (TV & Movies)

Just so this thread doesn't go dry, cause this is the best thread of all, here's an episode from the animated series of Producing Parker called "The Skinny on Parker".

After a show segment including an aggressive weight loss machine, Parker, the producer, and Dee, the show host, get concerned about their weights. Parker tries to get her weight down, while Dee tries to gain weight in order to gain viewers and rival her competition. Dee's weight gain does work as she planned, getting far more viewers and fans. Scenes also involve her gorging on burgers and getting stuck on door frames while Parker goes crazy losing weight. In the end they both realize they took both sides of the weight change to the extreme and return to their normal weights. Pretty good episode from a mediocre series overall!

This short film from Bulgaria popped up on my Facebook feed so I looked it up. Not so much in the way of weight gain but more of fat acceptance. Set in a world in which Earths gravity is weakened due to an accident 20 years previously, anyone weighing less than 120kg/264lbs/18st would float away, the film follows a young man and his struggles. What caught my attention was at one point you see him looking through magazines such as Maxim or Playboy, all of which have plus size or heavyset models on the covers or in the magazines themselves, so in this world not only is being heavier a necessity but over the course of 20 years has become the new normal in terms of beauty. Just thought it was interesting.

I'm not sure if anyone can help me with this, but I remember a piece of media named "BBW Origins" that was on YouTube a few years ago. It's plot was about a big woman going to a blind date with a man named Derek who was a chubby chaser, they talk casually for a few minutes, ordering drinks, the woman quickly finishing a lemonade and belching! In the end Derek reveals himself telling they can't be together cause she isn't big enough, the girl while startled at first, accepts this before Derek leaves, saying: "Derek wait! I used to be 50 pounds heavier, and I quit my diet yesterday." The short film ends with her approaching him and feeding him a small pastry, letting him know she accepts the offer. So dang good!

However, I recently tried to look for it to add into the thread but it was deleted from YouTube, and I haven't been able to find it again in the internet...

Seconded, I remember that, if anyone know of it it is worth fishing up

Hello everyone). Very, very soon there will be a day of horror or Halloween, and in honor of this, I have prepared one special article (+to bring activity to the page). I hope you like it).
I recently found an interesting video-it's not a TV show, but I think it will be very useful. It tells what would happen if famous villains became heroines. Especially in this version becomes a curious female character count Dracula.
In the modern world, the villain has modern problems-no one likes her photos because she is invisible in the photo. But this is not the main thing-the main thing is that the vampire drinks a lot of blood(several glasses a day) and has gained a lot of weight from this. She became very fat. But she does not intend to stop her habits-so the therapist was very unlucky.
The costume is quite good, and the idea is great).

Stupid. This is the time to cash in, as EVERYONE is watching TV now

It's unfortunate, not stupid. With Covid, TV shows with large casts and indoor sets make it dangerous. Doubly so for action series like cop shows that involve direct contact with "suspects" etc.

And theatrical  movies are a business. Most Theatres are either closed or low seating plans. Big financial  risk to show a movie that cost $100 million to almost no one.

One more thing. TV and film productions have to insure all their major talent, in case something bad  happens to one of them  mid shoot and they need to start over. Insurance under these conditions would probably be pretty expensive.
