She's generally regarded as the first plus size model in Korea, and credited with launching the Korean plus size industry/movement. Korea's plus size industry is young and nascent, but only a few years ago it was nonexistent. I hope it will follow the path of Japan's, which didn't really exist before 2013, and is now developing at an impressive pace. Maybe it will actually grow faster, considering that Koreans are generally chubbier than the Japanese. And somebody please send cake to North Korea. Make bibimbap, not bombs!
