She has always been a little on the plus size side and her confidence goes up and down but she mostly gets down on herself feeling unattractive. She hasn't really done any serious clothes shopping in a long time because of how she feels. This is really hard to see her go through and I tell her all the time that's she's beautiful and sexy but at best it only boosts her temporarily now and then. I think it's really unfortunate because despite her denial she is really beautiful (if you could see her face you'd agree she's super cute). So we're posting a couple of pics (she didn't want to do a bunch to start) and the hope is that with some positive feedback she'll feel a bit more confident and even attractive, ideally to the extent she'll feel good enough to go shopping for more clothes. We just have the 2 following pictures to start, she's open to the idea of posting more pics if there's enough feedback/interest. I'm not convinced she really needs to go shopping for new clothes, though. It just so happens she was out shopping with her sister today and she happened to pick up some clothing she had been thinking about. I had texted her some of the comments and they may have given her the bit of a lift to go through with buying the clothes (though she'd been working herself up beforehand anyway). She is considering doing more pictures but it seems to me that she's hesitant to put up more than just a few. I'll see what she's comfortable with, I had felt that maybe she would enjoy the attention enough to want to put up a bunch and get even more attention but I don't think that's how this is playing out. At this point, I think we will have at least a couple pictures to put up as a little thank you for the boost but beyond that we'll have to see how she's feeling later, it's been a busy day.
