So i know i'm not the only Gearhead on this kickass forum, and i wanna see what your drive to work everyday, your weekend warrior, trailer queen, or your friday night cruiser. Following your badass rides, perhaps enlighten me on any performance mods, or visual mods you've done to it. ;)

While their is certainly enough dangerous curves on the website (Amen, thank you Jesus!), i figured theirs not enough badass-ary on 4 wheels!  (sidenote, for the KFC man, he does slip some Gearhead Porn, in with the BBW stuff, which is ALWAYS appreciated)

I know i have posted my 1978 Power Wagon W-150 before on here, i may post more when i get the 318 done for it, and she actually sees some road time. But this is my 2005 Dodge Ram Big Horn Hemi 1500.

Visual Mods: Plasti-dipped flat black wheels, painted the white red filled letters in on the tires, aftermarket tail-light lenses, 20+ Badass Automotive Performance stickers on rear window.

Performance Mods: Removed Cat Converters (welded straight pipe in the place of them), Flowmaster Super Series 10 Single In/Single Out 3" Exhaust Muffler, 2 100w KC Daylighters.

Looking to get Long Tube Headers, and Custom Y-Pipe for it next. Followed by a Superchips or Diablo Sport Tuner programmer, or maybe a custom tune.

I think its needless to say, with the cat converters removed, and the super 10 mufflers, this thing can he heard about a mile or so away...

So now, I wanna see what you drive! Think your ride is more badass? Bring it! :D

You lost points for Plasti-Dip, but yes, #curvageracecargang is a thing!

Now, as far as the 318, it's a great engine. Nice part is for '78 (it could be '79), that was the first time a four barrel was an option. Throw a decent torquer cam (I had a .425 lift in my Coroner's 440), and while you hear Small Block guys talk about W-2/J heads, if you can score some 340 heads (or 340 anything) and massage them, you are ahead of the game! Even if you get some early 318 heads, and pwart and poleesh those, they will wake that thing up. Like I say, my area of expertise is R/B and Dodge Poly/Early Hemi, if the 318 is anything like the 440, later heads might actually flow better. Other than that, standard hot rod stuff. 3/4 and 1 tons are pretty easy to come by, so if you don't have Dana 60s in that thing, snag a set of those. A little pearl of wisdom I just learned about the '76ish-'87ish body style, step side tail gates are stupid money. Like, beat yourself in the head with a herring stupid. A step-side was in the local pick your part, I remembered seeing it and was like, "oh cool, a step side" as I looked for Toyota and GMC stuff. A friend of mine noticed it, too and passed over it. Later when he got home, he checked eBay for a tail gate. $500-$700 for roached-out ones!! Needless to say, when he rolled back there the next day, not only was the tailgate gone, so was the whole bed!

Here's the obligatory race car and the tow vehicle behind it. Guess I should update my thread...

Some of my garbage. Still getting my 18RG together. Found those Type T Mikuni carbs in Hungary. I just got a freshly rebuilt 22R bottom end to build a single cam screamer. I couldn't pass up on that deal! Oh, and I spotted a Fury wagon in a parking garage, which happened to be the Motor Trend office in El Segundo.

@KFDI'm here lol. I drive a 2012 Camaro SS. Cosmetic mods like a hood wrap in carbon fiber, 20 inch Niche wheels and Nitto tires, tint, Adix spoiler and wickerbill, etc. I also have some mods under the hood. My car has a Texas Speed cam, longtube headers, cat and resonator delete, cold air intake, took out the stock mufflers and put in one-chambers and shes dynoed and tuned. :) I'm also the Boss Lady of our local Head Turner car crew.

Nice Man, that Nova is pretty kickass, What are the quarter mile times on it?

I had a friend of mine build a 383 stroker from his L05 TBI 350, made a world of difference, those old GM 3/4 ton and 1 ton trucks are just sluggish cause the gear ratios of the 4L80s suck, 1st gear needs to be like a 3:1 but in the 4L80 its like a 2.60:1 or something to that extent.

The ol Nova hasn't run a quarter with the 4.11 gears yet, but when it had the 2.73s it pulled a 14.95 @102 mph on a 29 inch tall slick. Came through the lights in second gear at about 4800 rpm 😂. It picked up a lot on the back end, but she was a dog off the line with those tall gears.

14.95 is what my 5500 lb  quadcab will run now, not bad for a heavy pickup lol.
