Guest
ABC, NBC televisions networks have rejected Lane Bryant's most recent ad. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-3485635/Ashley-Graham-s-lingerie-advert-celebrating-plus-sized-bodies-banned-major-TV-networks.html http://www.tmz.com/2016/03/10/lane-bryant-commercial-ashley-graham-networks-reject/ Another ad was rejected in 2010: http://www.cbsnews.com/news/lingerie-ads-nixed-due-to-plus-sized-model/ Their message is pretty clear: Victoria's Secret skinny girl lingerie - Okay! Plus size lingerie - Definitely not! This is bullshit. Now where can I go protest?
Guest _Antipathy
Well, at the moment underweight models are still popular thus giving more money. I think they did a mistake as in the next 5-10 years you'll see a lot more plus size models and it's an already juicy ($$$) sector growing at a nice rate. Serfontein
They asked them to do a minor edit apparently. The breastfeeding shot, is kinda random and not really necessary to be honest - don't know if that's what they wanted edited though.
notsofatpat
The channel can accept and reject what they want. You, the viewer, decide if that company's advertising campaign was worth it. I support protest in this instance; a suggestion of protest is not to watch or support that broadcasting company. I have been actively protesting all the television broadcast companies for over 15 years now... I haven't watched tv for a loooooong time.

I have to agree. It is totally natural and it isn't a huge deal, but it wasn't a selling point, thus not necessary in this campaign.
