She's by no means fat, but I think it's safe to say she's the "least ripped" of any living female character.

Lady Walda Bolton had to give up the title, that's for sure.

Interestingly Cersei should have becomes more than pudgy from all the wine drinking according to the books. Sadly Lena Headey hasn't taken the cue.

Lysa Arryn was also supposed to be pudgy. In the books, she's supposed to outweigh Sansa by 60 pounds IIRC, yet in the show she's perhaps the slimmest actress.

Samwell's fat.  At least they got that right!  From descriptions in the book, I'd guess Roger Allam might be a one or two hundred pounds too light to play Illyrio Mopatis.

I'm only on the second season of the show.  Just watched Episode 2, and I immediately noticed that "Captain's Daughter," Theon's bedmate on his journey back home to the Iron Islands, was not as the book described.  In the book she was plump with heavy breasts; in the show, she's skinny as can be with very small breasts.

I can't remember the book ever explicitly stating that Cersei was getting plump.  It did say that she was losing her figure, her breasts were sagging more, and she was getting out of shape (out of breath frequently), which does rather suggest...

By the way, STANNIS IS THE RIGHTFUL KING.

Yes, until he binds the knee to the 15-year with three big dragons behind her just like Torrhen Stark bent to Aegon the Conquer or dies heroically in a delaying action against the forces of The Others after they breech the Wall.

Shireen would have made such an awesome dark horse heir to the throne. I mean, the potential for THAT as a character arc would have been off the charts.

What a waste of a fascinating character with a ton of potential and a pure heart. Ugh.

Her arms were very soft and majestic in that scene. Loved it.

Hmm, sounds like another book deviation to look forward to.  It's actually rather nice that just because you know what happened in the books, you don't necessarily know exactly what will happen in the show.  It keeps things fresh.  In the books, Shireen is an almost non-existent character.

Her little tummy pooch shows in nearly every outfit she wears these day.  She doesn't seem to care at all either.  :)  It folds into a cute, little roll when she's seated.

Mmmm, even Kelly and Fred love Emilia's cute little tummy

Haha, they're totally distracted by her tummy!  And yet Emilia doesn't seem to mind!  :D
