It's a lot of trauma around Demi's weight and remember, just 2 years ago the national enquirer posted a humiliating article about Demis body shape describing them as "flabby". On top of that, after coming out as nonbinary, I think Demi's clothing choices are meant to actively discourage people from viewing them as a woman and sexualizing them as a woman.
