I haven't been following this post too closely recently but if she really is losing weight I highly highly doubt it will last. She is literally a chef that specializes in sweets and desserts, I really don't think it's possible to lose too much weight with a career like that.

My guess is if she's been working out for strength but not weight loss, there may have been some initial loss as she gained muscle and her metabolism changed. But once she reaches a new equilibrium, I think she'll gain back whatever she lost and more. Working out makes you hungry, you know!

I'm not the target audience for this website, (not even sure how I came across this thread as I was looking for a fruit tart recipe by Raiza). Anyhow, I've been fascinated by her weight gain and now weight loss, so I decided to share my two cents.

I started following her towards the end of last year, I'm also a food content creator, and from Brazil. Apparently, early this year Raiza was a little absent from social media. I remember seeing her stories and she was commenting how many people were contacting her to check if she was okay. She said that sometimes things happen in life to make you pause and reflect. She never revealed what the issue was. After this, she started to lose weight. About a month ago, she did another Q&A on her stories and someone asked for tips on how to stop drinking coffee because she had just found out she had gastric issues. Raiza's response was: "do it the same way I treat sugar: only on special occasions." I wonder if she's reducing sugar consumption due to health problems, pre-diabetes? I don't see why a pastry chef would voluntarily stop eating sweets if it wasn't for something worrisome. She has to taste what she bakes for her TV show and whatever projects she has going on.

At long last: Here's another wonderful “teaser clip” (via Instagram) of an (possible) upcoming episode of “Rainha da Cocada,” featuring the always lovely Raiza Costa, showing off her usual brand of creativity in the kitchen; hopefully this "short, but sweet" clip is the sign of new longform YouTube uploads to come. Even though this particular video was probably filmed a good while ago (given how delectably round she looks during its duration), it’s always nice to see her adorned in another form-fitting outfit that can’t help but hug her rich curves that are no doubt the result of the delicious dishes that she always cooks up and then devour.
