This summer, Chonk has been lazy and indulgent. Her belly has grown—it’s swollen full of fat—and she knows that cozy season is coming, with all its sugary, fattening treats. Deep down, she realizes that she should lose weight before that time—her belly is enormous, and it’s covered with stretch marks. It will only get bigger if she doesn’t do anything about it. But with all of the rich foods and festivities coming so soon this fall and winter, and a lover who can’t get enough of her body, it feels like any progress she might make dieting will be futile with the holidays so close upon us.
