I really try to not complain, because I do feel so fortunate to have found this community and I'm happy to contribute, but my engagement had been so down and then a handful of those comments have just got me in a funk. 😥 I think a lot of people assume videos are a quick thing, and maybe for some models they are but it takes me so long to do one. 

I feel this. I hope things start going better for you. Your clips are BEYOND fairly priced (especially for the quality).

@Taytay thank you! It's hard being a people pleaser in this industry 🙈 I love making people happy but not at the sake of my own happiness. And I see almost every other model go through the same thing, which is heartbreaking. It's not hard to understand why so many of us don't last.

Sadly some people are jerks and don't appreciated what you and others do.

You just need to put things into perspective and find peace and happiness in life. ie- don't give up here on curvage, but maybe cut back on the time you spend here and on videos and do other things that make you happy in life. 

You are an amazing artist and I have told you that before. I love seeing your art in the background of your videos. And your four legged furry kids are wonderful too. Spend more time with art and the furry kids and other things like that and find your spiritual center and happiness.

That will even out the highs and lows of being on curvage and the internet where sadly too many people are sometimes hateful.

I love everything you have done since I started following you on stuffer and then coming to curvage. You are the best 😀

I’m sorry you are going through all this, yes it’s definitely a time consuming process to get our video out there. I feel a large part of the problem is  a lot of clips are selling way under $1 a minute. Sadly this is happening a lot, which makes it even harder to sell your content. I’m going to link a thread by @S77 here on the subject.

I would love to, but this is how I pay my bills so it's not really an option, especially when sales are down. 😬

 

I spend hours playing with and working my dogs, as well as researching different training idealogies and practices to pursue it as a career. 🥰 I do need to start painting more though ❤️ I just haven't been particularly inspired by anything as of late.

I think there are a lot of us models out there that can relate to everything you said. You didn't even include food and outfit expenses, expanding waistlines and portions gets extremely expensive!  

Your content looks amazing, I really hope things pick up for you and I'm always around if you need anyone to chat to ❤️

@Ni Ki thanks! ❤️❤️ That thread was a big reason why I made this post as well actually. I prefer having lower than average prices because I'd rather have more people enjoy the content, and especially with the world right now, I get that but everyone can afford it. It's just such a slap in the face to be told even at lower than average it costs too much.

I think it's time we start standing our ground on our own self-worth. So many conversations I've had with other models have expressed similar issues. 

 

This has got to be one of the most expensive kinks out there, and besides my bills, all my money goes right back into my videos. 

Hey Kat, im sorry that it's been difficult for you. Sometimes we forget how much hard work you lovely ladies put into your content.  Personally I've been meaning to buy some of your videos, just some obnoxious things drained my budge recently.  Do you guys see it when we add your clips to our wishlist? Also is there any other way we can help, like promoting you on a tumblr page or something?  

I think some of what you are seeing is a simple issue of supply and demand.  The community that has this kink is relatively small compared to being a general model and with quite a few models vying for the same small pool of people and money it has to be hard to consistently make money.

The rates you charge are very reasonable and your videos are well made.  I don't think it has anything to do with you it is just the nature of the beast of being a fetish model you have to work twice as hard for half the reward of a regular model.

I have bought a handful of your videos but, I have many other interests etc... and, with Covid still a thing and the economy not exactly on sure footing I am saving more.  I think many people are in the same situation or worse.

I can totally understand your frustration with putting work into something and getting little reward.  I have a youtube channel and when I put a video up that I worked on for days and only a few people watch it.  It can be very discouraging.

You are one of the best models on the site.  I am sure things will get better.

@fattony20 thank you for helping pitch in whenever you can! That's all I'm asking for from anyone who can. God knows I'm not a demanding person (unless it comes to sex but I digress 😅), This post isn't directed towards people that do support models and are respectful when they interact with us! My main takeaway is the attitudes of the portion of our community who DON'T value the work that models put in. 

 

Simple ways to help your favorite models:

Review clips that you have bought! Clips that have reviews sell better! So even if you can only buy one, review it and that will potentially generate more sales for us! 

Like, comment, and engage in our pages and forums! As someone who does this full time, you guys are what I fill my days with (besides my dogs) so I really love talking to you guys! Also Curvage pretty much gets top priority as far as free forums from me, so I'm much more likely to respond to you here rather than my other standard social media accounts. (All my negative interactions have happened in social media private messaging, so for my own sanity I prefer keeping it on public forums until we build a friendship) 

If they have social media accounts (which yes I do!) Like, comment, share/repost! 

 

 

But really, 99.9% of what I want is just kind interactions with you all, if you can buy my clips and help me move forward in this journey I'm so so thankful. 

 

@firefly2 a lot of what I said above applies to your comment as well. 

I completely understand that the world is insane right now. That's why I keep my clip prices as low as they have been. It's really not about the sales, that's just one small thing that tipped me over this morning. Again my main issue is just the lack of respect in general for models. 

 

 

 

I will not stand by while I or anyone else gets treated like crap. I know that won't win me a lot of friends,  but my whole entire being is about spreading positivity and kindness, and I'm not going to stop that because it's not part of the fantasy.

One thing though... please try to get the wisdom tooth sorted out asap. I had a similar issue and I ended up in the hospital because I kept ignoring it... not fun at all and even less fun during pandemic time (less visitors and all that).

I buy a few vids a month, and I love supporting you all.

Care credit can be a great option for the wisdom tooth situation. The @thegumdropreborn has a great point! Interestingly enough for me I find my higher priced videos do better but that said, since I’m not a gainer my videos don’t do great just in general. I’ve never watched any of your videos but just from what I see from your backdrops and concepts they look so interesting and creative!!! Also you have put out so many videos for October that could be part of it, if you add together all your sales for the month does it equal other months even though you released more videos? Also I would make sure nothing is getting pirated!!!
 

Even if you aren’t seeing the sales you expect, please separate that from the assholes who think your videos are too expensive. If you get bored I can share with you some crazy shit people on here message me with. It’s insane how nasty people can get online!!!
 

The world has pretty much opened up again and that can have a huge impact as well.

Thank you ❤️❤️ I had my other three out when I was 18, same thing, couldn't go through a standard dentist, had to go through an oral surgeon, trust me I want to do it asap! I'll have insurance starting 1/1 so as soon as I do I'm getting this thing yanked.  We appreciate your support! 😘😘

Unfortunately I don't qualify for carecredit (3 emergency surgeries in my 20s plus an ex who ruined my credit 🙃) 

And thank you! 🥰I try to be original, I know it's hard when there's so many models making such great content, but maybe I need to reign in some of my ideas 🤷🏼‍♀️ Also, you're gorgeous.. have I told you that yet or only thought it while scrolling? 🤣

It is my total revenue from about the last 8 weeks, compared to previous months. I'm making about half as much as I was 🙄 it might be because things have been reopening though, I'm a fairly isolated person to begin with so covid hasn't really had an impact on my social life, so I don't think about that very often. 

Omg please make me laugh with the craziness! Seriously message me anytime, I'd love to talk!
